I changed my previous review. Tyler, the manager, resolved my previous problems. Once I was able to connect with Tyler, he immediately correct the error. Tyler is a good manager. The owner, however does not allow any communication via phone. No phone, no way to contact the business except to drive there. Inadequate lousy service. Tyler does as much as he can. I am currently attempting to cancel my next auto pay in the month of November. I will post again as to how that goes. read more

Love this place!! We got the lava wash and it looked so cool! To vacuum your car is free and there are so many spots! You never have to worry for trying to find space to vacuum your car. The restrooms are a little weird but they work so I don't really care. Their prices are reasonable and the employees are nice. They have a cute little fish pond. One of the workers there saw us looking at the fish and offered us fish food to feed the fish. Overall my experience was great, I would definitely come here again! read more

Been going here a while. Never impressed with the staff, but it's cheap. Trash everywhere, but again, cheap. Though you get what you pay for. But today (1.13.25) got unnecessary sass from an employee about honking my horn at someone backing up and out in front of me in the wash. Super unprofessional. Pretty sure he "knew" the man and wanted to stand up for him. But this is your place of employment not a personal chit chat session. Came here for the spooky car wash and there's nothing really spooky about it and $20! What!!??!! The clown was only the best part and the guy in the soap. Other then that it should be scarier for that price. This is worth $2. They give u candy for the kids. You can change the radio to their spooky music which is mehhh. read more

I was in last week, I won't be back again. I had paid for the deluxe wash not that much cost wise but it comes with the wash towel and should wash the wheels before I went through. It wasn't slow, but not busy enough for a line. I pulled in and rolled my window down to get my stuff, but immediately starting rolling into the car wash. The attendant still hadn't handed me my stuff, and sprayed one wheel. He started yelling at me so I breaked to get my stuff and he got EVEN more mad and started yelling at me louder! ( now I understand I shouldn't have breaked but he was yelling at me and I still needed my towels and air freshners and I was rolling away from him) he began yelling throwing his hands up shaking his head and pointing at me while walking up to the next car. I was really humiliated, and angry. I've never rolled in and bot been spoken to, not handed anything, then yelled at as the carwash took my car. Was he not supposed to keep me there a minute and give me my things and rinse the wheels? For a place where all the hard work you're doing yourself, I found the way I was treated unacceptable. The employees were so nice! They have a cool koi fish pond and one of the guys saw me looking at it and went inside to go get some food for the fish that I can throw to them. Plus this car wash is so cheap compared to the other ones and there's free vacuum too! I read all the bad reviews after I left the car wash but do not agree. Some of them weee old so maybe they made some improvements. I paid the $12 for the cheap wash. (What happened...this used to be $3.00). Anyway, plenty of water came out. My car was clean and shiny. The vacuums all worked well. Had no issues. They will try hard to sell you the monthly plan but if that's not what you are looking for just let the guy know and they will move on. read more

Called to find out why but no one ever answers. Went in person and was told it will get fixed. 3 days later they charged me 2 more times instead of giving me my money back. Came here on a whim since I was in this part of town and my car needed a touch up. I've got to say that this place is not my favorite of all the car washes in the valley. The prices here are comparable to other drive thru & unlimited vac places but the was itself wasn't great. I purchased the basic wash which cost $5, a step above the touch up which is $3. It left a few untouched spots on my car but worst of all was the amount of water spots it left all over. Another mark against this place was the space to park and vacuum. Tight turns and horrible placement of vacuum hoses. To top it all off the place needs a good pressure washing and sweeping of the grounds itself. It almost feels like your car gets dirty just sitting in the space while your cleaning it. Plus side was the guy helping customers pay for the wash by the machine. Great attitude & very helpful. This used to be a great place. Today there was only a trickle of water put on the car before the first brushes were spinning. It was essentially a dry wash. Finally some soap came on but the rinse was low water. Not like previous times. The kid who directed us in then lied and said I didn't have the car in neutral but drove past the initial water spray. Never a bad experience when coming to this car wash! Washes start at $3 for an exterior rinse and prices go up a couple dollars more if you want something more thorough.. they also offer a hot wax and a special treatment for your tires, for an additional cost. The wash is quick, you stay in your car, and there is always an attendant on site. Vacuums are do it yourself and the suction of the ones I've used have been great. You can take your time and vacuum your car as much and as long as you want. Hey nothing beats a quick car wash for $3. read more

Terrible customer service and machine. Asked if I was using a credit card, I say yes and the attendant walks away. Issues were the top of the car wasn't very clean with visible dirt above the door and the tire shine was only on part of the right side tires. For those having issues w the business, this might help. 1- You drive up w a car or truck 2- You pay(if you can't figure it out, an attendant usually comes to help you once he notices you are ignorant and can't figure it out) 3- You wait for the guard to lift(Important--wait for it to lift up) 4- You drive 50 feet to the entrance(The entrance is where the car gets washed) 5- Follow the attendants instructions(Tip-roll your windows UP) 6- Once car starts to move, do nothing(Hint-you don't need to use your windshield wipers) 7- Wait for green arrows at exit to tell you to drive away 8- Decision time... Park at vacuums and clean inside of car or leave parking lot and continue on w your life If bird crap has been on the car for a few days, it might have a little spot visible..due to the heat engraving it into the car, but this could happen at other car washes also. read more

Solid drive thru car wash for $13, get the managers special and add the wax option. There were a couple streaks where my car didn't dry completely but I also skipped the option to pull over and use one of their towel stations to finish it off. Got a 3 week old coffee spill off the roof of my car in the first go, not to mention free vacuums. The wash came with a little air freshener square and a big towel to wipe down the interior. This is one of the worst locations in the valley. I just came today for a car wash, bought the manager special package , we pulled up to the automatic wash and the kid working the automatic wash was very rude. I asked for an extra spray down on my cars' grill and window for the extra bugs and he rolled his eyes and gave us an attitude. The wet cloths he handed us were not moist. And the air freshener had no scent and was dry. I am very unsatisfied with my wash as well because I feel like it did not to a job up to par to what the managers special description entailed. I paid for my membership at the gated area , proceeded to the wash area , put my car in neutral and asked for one of the wet towels that the attendant had a table full of them . He said "no! You should've gotten one at the entrance ". I asked two more times and was told " no !" . Then the guys rinsed off my car while my window was open and wet the inside . I went to another employee to complain and was told that it was highly unlikely that I was telling the truth ..... wow! We paid $3 to go through the wash just for our exit to be full of fear. Hundreds of black pieces fell onto our windshield while we were under the dryers. The manager gave us an incident report and told us he told the owner. We asked for the owner's insurance information and phone number but we couldn't get it. We tried to speak to him in person but because of his lack of attendance to that location we were unable to talk to him. The owner (through the manager) said that he looked on his cameras from home and said the machines were running fine, we asked for to see the footage and got denied by the manager (not the owner) The sign outside said that they were not responsible for damages for cars over 5 years, which isn't fair and this type of damage is unacceptable. We were in a waiting area and while we were trying to call our insurance agents, we overheard the manager talking to an employee and told him that he thought we compromised the car in order to get paid by the owner - unacceptable and super disrespectful. Now we have to pay $500-$800 to replace our panel. In conclusion we had to file an incident report through a police officer and the owner never got back to us (and he won't). We got the car wash at 11:50am and did not leave until 3:54pm, we pretty much wasted our whole day trying to get things figured out. If I could rate this place with 1/2 star I would. I learned about American Speed Wash from driving past it every day since moving across country to Mesa this past June. The first time I went through the wash was to clean off the bugs and road dirt I picked up between Minnesota and here. Believe me the car was filthy dirty. The car came out clean and I was definitely very happy with the quality of the wash. Also on that first visit the attendant told me about their monthly special and I signed-up before leaving that day. Today, I needed to cancel my membership because I was involved in a collision with my 2014 Dodge Journey. I stopped in and explained the situation to Robert and asked him to cancel my subscription. In less than an hour I received a call from the owner, who asked about my condition and assured me that they would be willing to work with me and cancelled my membership immediately. I assured him that it is not because of the quality of their service that I needed to cancel, but because of the damage caused from the collision... And, yes indeed, I plan to get a new subscription with my new vehicle. Since the first time I used their service, the employees have always been courteous, cheerful, friendly, and respectful. I highly recommend American Speed Wash to anyone looking for a reputable place of doing business. The "manager" was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful towards my entire family after our children threw trash on the ground while we were at the vacuums. Before we even had a chance to pick up what was thrown, he came over, while we were cleaning out our vehicle and was literally sweeping at our feet, with COMPLETE DISREGARD to the safety guidelines in place during the COVID-19 pandemic. After my husband asked him to wait until we were finished, he started arguing with us and threatened to call the police if we didn't leave immediately. Will NEVER BE RETURNING. I've been coming here since 2015. There's only one decent attendant that works here. The rest carry a flippant attitude and don't even look at you as you're pulling the vehicle forward so, even if you aren't aligned with the track (which you should be able to see yourself but still it's also their job to have eyes on), you're still gonna get waved forward. If your vehicle is truly dirty like covered in dirt/mud, don't bother wasting your money. We went for a drive through Superstition Mtns and came here immediately after to clean up, purchased the manager's special, and the dirt turned into greasy caked on mud on the tires and bottom of the doors/bumpers. During the $3 touch up there's still soap left over on the car, and you'd think the manager's special wouldn't have this issue but it does as well. Go somewhere else. Not worth your money. read more
