Flat Patty Burger
Brian W.

Ordered takeout from here and it was decent. I wouldn't say there was anything astounding, but I had a solid meal that was pretty filling. I ordered the Flat Patty Burger and it comes with fries: Flat Patty Burger ($19) - This burger comes with 2 patties and a side of fries. In today's market, $19 for that isn't too bad, and the burger was THICK. The two patties had butter and herb flavor, but probably could have done with a touch more salt. Still, each bit was satisfyingly meaty and full. It also came with melted cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a cajun aioli which was pretty tasty. There were a few pickles on the side which was a nice addition as well. All in all, a filling and tasty burger that hits the spot when you want something meaty and carb-loaded. I've had better burgers but I've also had worse ones. This comes in at "above average" for the herbs and butter on the meat as well as the amount of food you get for the price. Not a bad meal!

Marry Me Chicken

Came in to see that this place was basically empty and honestly was scared of how the food was going to be...BUT THEN!! The food is delicious here and staff is very friendly. The sauce/gravy in the marry me chicken is absolutely yum and then the fried chicken is sooo good, with a very unique slaw and jelly that goes perfectly well with it. While I didn't get much this time around, I definitely will another time. Tons of seats here so bring a whole group because I'm sure everyone will enjoy this place.

We stopped in on a Thursday afternoon with a larger group of people they accommodated all of our requests. Nice menu selection with a southern flair. The tuna tacos had a nice kick and the Rachel was super delicious!

Chicken Empanadas and Poppy Seed Crusted Tuna

Stillwater is a nice location to share after work drinks and appetizers at the edge of the financial district though the bar area is narrow and dark. We enjoyed starters such as the poppy seed crusted tuna ($17) and chicken empanadas ($12). Local oysters were nicely presented in a traditional manner, though on the small side. However, the highlight dishes may have been the sausage and corn chowder, a filling bowl ($9) of sweet hearty soup with a punch of spice, and the Cobb salad ($18). Dessert descriptions sounded great, but the execution was a bit underwhelming. The S'mores donuts ($11) were dense and the peach tarte (a special that night), was all flaky crust with hardly any discernible peach. Our server, Eduardo, did a great job meeting all of our needs.

Hangover burger with fries

Really solid brunch! We came in right when they opened on a weekday, definitely didn't need the reservation. We started with the Gouda and red pepper biscuits, which were among the best biscuits I've ever had!!! My husband had a bloody Mary, which was solid. He did the hangover burger with fries, and I had the empanadas rancheros. We both loved our meals! The brunch potatoes were particularly well seasoned and delicious. And the service was fast and friendly! We'll definitely come back for dinner sometime.

Locals and visitors swap insider tips in a chatty and welcoming way under the watchful gaze of kind staff. The vibe is a perfect blend of mellow and energizing.

We arrived Boston late, our flight had been delayed, so we scrambled to find somewhere to eat. Arriving about 45 minutes before close, we were seated in the back. Our server was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Located towards Chinatown in the downtown area of Boston, the restaurant was clean, friendly, and has some really good choices.

Had a really nice lobster roll here. Best one of the year, and of the best one I've ever had. They really packed it with lobster meat inside, so you get your money's worth, and incredibly fresh and perfect mix, After you sink your teeth into the first bite, you want to keep going. Fries were great, ketchup was a little vinegary (could go for a more basal ketchup) but fantastic overall. Service was friendly, prompt, and it was great sitting outside. It's a relaxing, upscale dining establishment. What's really nice is the coffee cups. Unlike most places with smaller drinking rims, it's great for sipping, looks classier, and love the image of milk clouds forming as you add in the dairy. I've seen a lot of professionally dressed people enter this space and definitely recommend dressing up with a button down for guys or a dress for women.

Ronald at the bar was spectacular! Great spot near Chinatown. You should check it out...

Flat Patty Burger

We came here for brunch on the weekend. I ordered the Flat Patty Burger. The burger patty was juicy and had so much flavor, and the french fries were delicious. This is one of the best meals we had in Boston! I can't recommend this place enough!

Oklahoma has cuisine, and this is a a great example of it. The biscuits, homemade cheese-it's and Ritz Cracker Chicken were all fantastic.

A good drink menu including mocktails round up Moxies as a great dinner spot for a business dinner, drinks after work or a night out on the town. We ordered a seafood platter for the table, some other appetizers including potstickers and burrata. Both delicious. The seafood platter included clams, oysters, crab meat, lobster, marinated ahi tuna, and shrimp. Everything was fresh and delicious. For my entree I ordered the baby back ribs. They were delicious and falling off the bone tender. The mashed potatoes were good and the carrots and green beans were ok. A bit salty and nothing inspired or special as a side dish. Overall a good option to check out while in the Seaport area. Great services attentive servers and a good spot for large groups. Make sure to check your bill. Two items we ordered never arrived so we had to make sure they were taken off the bill. Other than that pretty good experience.

It responded right away that it would optimize for a place that appeals to cocktail nerds and is open on Mondays. I directed me to Wig Shop, and said that Wig Shop even has a cocktail named in honor of John Gertsen, Boston's much-missed (he's in SF, last I knew) founding bartender at Drink and Number Nine Park. Wig Shop did not disappoint: fabulous cocktails, an easygoing vibe (my two buddies and I were able to chat without yelling from 8pm until 11:30), comfortable banquettes (with, incidentally, backs that are high enough to be supportive but low enough that you can spread out your arms on them), and wonderful service. The service, in particular, lives up to the "cocktail nerd" aspect that the LLM highlighted: our server knew the drinks backwards and forwards, and knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned the drink in Gertsen's honor. I'd recommend this place to cocktail nerds, and to anyone who wants to have a drink and chat with friends. We'll be back soon.

The Wig Shop was on the list... what a coincidence we were just going to be there. So, obviously, we made it a point to check it out. It was very last minute, so we had no reservations, but we checked opening hours and were there almost on the dot. Thankfully we were able to get in. The way they are setup is that if you are a party of 2, they sit you with another "couple" to maximize space. This is fun, it makes you have conversations with strangers that for the time you are there become "friends". Hopefully you have the same good experience we did and not have anti-social people in front of you. The drinks are fun and strong, and they have a full bar for those who want something more classic or have a drink of choice. They also have food, which looked really good.

There seemed to be more potatoes than anything else. Regardless, I think everything was cooked well and tasted great. - Turkish Breakfast: 7/10, was surprisingly good! I've never eaten a block of Feta before but it was very fresh and not overpowering. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.
