The parking lot isn't ideal, but finding a spot was surprisingly painless. I loved the ambiance--it felt elevated and bougie without being pretentious. The shrimp bowl was delicious and very reasonably priced. Service was solid, though not particularly remarkable. Overall, it's a fun spot and I'm glad I tried it. I wouldn't be racing back, but I'd happily enjoy another visit.

Another visit here with coworkers after a long, boring 5- hour seminar on a cold Sat morning in February. They must change the menu because we were here last year (Feb 2025) and not much on the menu appealed to me. But this year they were lots of things I wanted to try. I'm late in posting my review. But I do remember that I split entrees with another. We split the BBQ Brisket Melt and the Oklahoma Smashburger. We both prefer the BBQ Melt over the burger. It had more flavor and texture. It's always good food and service. And I'm sure we'll go again next year after our Annual Seminar.

I went with a friend on a Monday night at 5 pm and we were able to get right in. We were sat at a booth along the windows, and the sun felt amazing. If you don't like sitting in the sun , consider asking for a table instead or away from the windows. Food 5/5: we got the brussels sprouts and shrimp bowl. I loved the maple sauce with the goat cheese on the sprouts! It's definitely different than the soy type sauces other places are doing, and brought the perfect salty sweet combination. The shrimp bowl is my go to here, and was great. The sauce with the shrimp, avocado, veggies and rice is a great balance of flavor. Service 5/5: our server was very attentive and the food came quickly. Ambiance 5/5: this place has an upscale cozy vibe. It is on the smaller side, so tables are somewhat close, but not too close. Note the credit card charge.

We were in the area and decided to check this place out. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and the service was good. They have a nice happy hour menu and also daily specials. I really liked the cheese curds, and I enjoyed the steak salad, although the steak itself was just ok. The smash burger was also very good; nicely toasted bread and thin beef patty. I recommend this place and plan to come back!

I've been here a handful of times and have enjoyed the food and the overall experience each time. My favorite thing has to be the Dynamite Shrimp Bowl, it's just flavorful and consistent. The Thai Peanut Bowl is a favorite of a friend. Unfortunately cheese curds are meh, as every time we've gotten them the cheese is only warm. This might have to do with them being served on a metal tray that's just a bit too big for what you get. However the blueberry ketchup is delicious! Don't sleep on their daily specials! I've gotten the Tuesday tacos and they are quite a bang for your buck. Service is always good and the vibe is chill and comfortable.

I hate to rate this spot so low. I've been here multiple times and the patio is lovely, the place is always packed with happy customers, and service is always fine. The food is just 3 star food. The goat cheese toast is raved about in other reviews but it was unpleasant to eat. Literally toast from the grocery store with dried out, baked on goat cheese lumps, pesto dried out and dry craisins and maybe nuts? $15 for toast. The dynamite shrimp bowl was fine, not great. Almost $20, no thanks. Everything here to me is fine, not great. And pricey. Finally the 3rd time, I got the pickle burger but swapped it for an impossible patty in it which was nice and got rid of the bacon. The sauces were delicious on it, good tasting bun. The fried pickles were old and soggy on the burger already and the impossible patty tasted a little bitter but overall, this was the best thing I've had here and it was fairly priced for $15 with fries. The fries were excellent with sea salt on them.

The vibe here is of a craft beer haven with a menu that had a lot of tasty looking food! Everything I contemplated looked absolutely fantastic...it was difficult to choose. I got the smoked turkey sandwich with broccoli slaw. The turkey is smoked in house and was delish! (Although I did expect more turkey in the sandwich; the ratio of lettuce to meat was off). The bar area is especially picturesque. This is a bit far from me, but the food and beverage scene was so good, I'd consider making an effort to make a return visit. Edited review to add: I just noticed this place has a 3% surcharge for paying with a credit card; I hate this (especially with menu prices this high) and I'm removing a star for this.

The zucchini blossoms were very good. I will definitely try to copy this recipe at home, or just go back for more! The only unfortunate part of our visit is they ran out of hamburger. My husband wasn't very thrilled as that's why we went to try that restaurant out. I had the steak salad, and my husband and son decided to eat the coconut curry instead. They both said it was pretty good. My steak salad was done perfectly, and I had plenty for leftovers later. We definitely want to go back for burgers in the future.

This place never disappoints and this time we stopped in for brunch. The patio in the back was bustling, and our server tried her best. The bottleneck was at the bar; everything else was very quick. Our server went over the menu and gave us her recommendations. The bacon was rich and smoky with a hint of maple. The biscuits had a crisp outer flaky layer with a soft, fluffy inner layer. When combined with the creamy sauce, they formed a perfect synergy. The potatoes were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside giving the right level of crunch.. The Belini, even though it took 38 minutes to be prepared, was very good. 38 minutes good no but good yes.

Its a cute place thats close to me since i live in New brighton. Service was fast and the server made sure we had refills before we even got done woth our drinks. The food was good as well! Smoked Wings were amazing. We got them with the cajun rub which was great! Berries & Brie Salad - This was fantastic as well, I could have this with every meal. Ribeye - I asked for Medium and it was more on the Medium well side, but very flavorful. Fiesta Bowl - This was disappointing, because the chips were stale, and the chicken was so dry. Couldve been good wothout it.

Kim T.

The chicken wings were delicious. The restaurant was very cute and well lit. It was decorated well. The atmosphere is very intimate. The service was sufficient. It did take us a little longer to finally get our bill from our server. The bugolgi bowl was alright. It was overly sauced though so the rice was hard to eat. The burger was delicious. My boyfriend eats here regularly and it was my first time. I definitely will be trying the chicken and wild rice soup on my next visit

This spot has a lot of interesting things on the menu and I'll definitely want to be back to try something new. I loved the whipped feta, cheese curds were great, and the flatbread was filling! My friend enjoyed her shrimp bowl. All around great. We got there right when they opened so we had no issues getting a table. Service was quick. Prices are a little high and mocktails were good but pricey.

Kripa M.

My friends and I chose this place for our dinner date. We had reservations on a Saturday night which was great idea, it was pretty busy in there. We got seated right away and drink orders were taken. We had a great server. To start off we got the cheese curds with the Blueberry ketchup. The sweet and the salty was a perfect combo. It's a must try. For entrées one of my friend's and I got the Birria Ramen bowl and my other friend ended up getting a Pepperoni Flatbread. The Ramen had tons of flavor, the only downfall was it was a little bit on the salty side. Flavor wise it was a flavor bomb. The Flatbread looked delicious and my friend enjoyed it. I got the Pumpkin bread pudding to go and I devoured some of it as soon as I got home. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.

This is a food forward restaurant. Lots of variety and everything was absolutely delicious. I tried a bit of the salmon, beef brisket, apple bacon flatbread, and the porterhouse pork chop (lucky to be with a large group with an affinity towards sharing). All super excellent! The service was friendly and attentive. The space is comfortable and modern. A truly excellent experience. read more

First time here. I had the Korean Steak Bowl. It's the best "bowl" that I have ever had! Each vegetable and the steak had its own distinct flavor. Additionally the fried egg was cooked perfectly. The yoked was cooked to were it was somewhat firm yet runny at the same time. The next time I come back it will he hard trying something else because I enjoyed it so much. I was so excited to try this place since the area definitely needs a restaurant like this. I stopped in tonight for take out, on a Tuesday, and the place was packed, which seemed like a good sign. When I got home and opened the brussels sprouts it was visibly undercooked. I ate 2 and confirmed they were way too hard to enjoy, so I put them in a pan and have had them in the oven for about 25 minutes now. I was very excited to try the pork belly sliders! Unfortunately, the online menu did not give indication that the sliders would be way too spicy for my Midwestern taste. The jalapeños I could pick off but they were covered in sriracha, or some other spicy sauce, and I couldn't eat them. I hope management reads this and takes note a very simple solution to avoid future disappointed customers would be to provide indication on the menu what items are spicy. Finally, I tried the goat cheese toast. Good flavors, but I was disappointed and surprised by how little goat cheese was on it. I want to like this place. There is not much for sophisticated food in the area, so I'll probably give them another shot in the future. Hopefully if I make different selections I'll find something that's a winner. read more

Food is good and drink prices are reasonable, particularly during happy hour on Monday - Friday. Burnt brisket ends were very tasty but also a little too fatty. The baked brie dip appetizer was a large portion but came with only three pieces of crostini. You could not have possibly used all of the dip with three pieces. They then charged extra for bringing some more crostini. Not a good move! read more

Highly recommend this restaurant! I found it on yelp when I was looking for a central location for our family to meet for dinner on a Friday. I was able to make a reservation and the table was available right on time. The food was FANTASTIC! They have some of the BEST cheesecurds I've ever had. They come with this super smokey blueberry dipping sauce. Let's just say, I wanted to take that sauce home with me! Cocktails were fantastic and everyone was very happy with their entrees. Also a bonus that they had an incredible live musician the night we were there! My only complaint is that it was very very noisy, but that's also to be expected on a busy Friday night. We were so excited to discover this place as we live super close and never knew about it! We had it delivered via Uber Eats.... My husband had the smoked turkey sandwich with cheese curds (~$19.00)... great portion, hearty sandwich, lots of cheese curds. I got the zoodle shrimp scampi (also $19.00) and it was very MEH. I get you aren't going to get a traditional scampi experience with zoodles (that being said, I've had zoodle dishes at Noodles that have tasted better), but where I was really disappointed was the portion size!! The photo below is after one bite... there were originally 5 shrimp total... just seemed like NOT a great value and definitely wouldn't get again and would advise others interested to try something else! read more

Service was a bit slower than desired; so if you are in a rush this might not be the spot for you. Recommend Stargazer for their drinks! I would say food is not bad but not the best for similar joints.

Wow, this place was cool!…read more The entry is pretty hidden and parking requires a bit of work unless you do valet. We went on a Saturday night, so we had to wait a bit in order to be seated. However, it was worth the wait for us. There is a dark moody vibe and while my group went in for drinks, there are also options for food. The place itself is pretty loud - both with music and talking, so maybe not the best location for a first date. The drinks are expensive, but the experience was worthwhile for us. I enjoyed the meditteránea. I'll very likely be back! What a neat spot.

Fortunately, I arrived at 5:30 PM on a Saturday, which was early enough to avoid a line and a velvet rope. I don't wait in line for anything unless I'm at a pharmacy, bakery, post office, or airport. Lines at restaurants and bars strike me as pretentious or bad management, and I don't tolerate either. However, I'm old, and at my age, nothing is worth waiting for unless it's a necessity. I found a seat at the beautiful and expansive bar and looked around at the Del Prado design. The colors might be different, but Flora was reminiscent of Minari and Noma. All three add to the Twin Cities' cachet. However, I was taken aback by the attire I saw around me. People were dressed in shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers. It's friggen Saturday night Minneapolis. Have some class! Flora Room was a lovely cocktail lounge, perfect for wooing, but don't expect to strike up a conversation with any of the bartenders. At these Del Prado joints, the staff must be trained not to engage. I'm out alone and enjoy talking. Bartenders used to be part of a lounge's attraction when I grew up in NYC. They learned your name, knew what you did, and gave you a hearty welcome. That, I guess, is not part of the culture in Minneapolis. Well, at least not at the Del Prado restaurants and bars. Chef Del Prado is from Argentina, and certainly, Argentina is one of the warmest and friendliest countries in the world, so I don't get it. I now live up the block from the Flora Room. I'm a neighbor and would like to be treated like one. Neighborly and the Flora Room are distant concepts.

One thing I wasn't a fan of was the QR code ordering system. It's laid out like a restaurant and the prices were typical restaurant prices, but the only time we saw a server was when they brought out our food. You also get your own water from a water station. It's not a huge deal, but for a place decorated so nicely it made it feel more like a fast food experience. Upon walking in, the bar top itself was packed with regulars at an off hour on a Friday. We sat at a small table by the pull tabs. Fun & divey atmosphere with a pool table and plenty of photo ops. Decided on Bina's Burger (smash burger) with Fries, and a side of Mozzarella Sticks. Loved the classic cup the Coke came in, and I tried both of the Old Fashioned drinks on the menu. Bina's old fashioned is okay, and will do the trick if you're purely looking for effect. The Wisconsin old fashioned is very sweet with muddled cherries and orange. The mozzarella sticks were served with a tomato soup dip which was interesting, but makes sense (grilled cheese & tomato soup). Ultimately the smash burger is the star! Very salty and crispy and delicious! I could see this becoming a regular craving! Water and condiments are on a stand to the left of the pull tabs.

They described it as an upscale dive bar which I laughed at for sure, but when I went I would say that exactly how I would describe it. It's dark and moody, but very funky and hip with the neon walls and lights. It's very small, behind the new Public Domain space. Seems like the hostesses direct people waiting on a spot there to Neon Tiger while they wait. We were able to snag one of the last tables after we ordered (there are about 5 tables for 2, and 3 standing bar tables from what I remember). The menu isn't large - it has a couple of beers, some basic cocktails and lists spirits and mixers. The only new and exciting thing on the menu is their slushy cocktails. Good news is that this place isn't very pricey, but the portions aren't huge. My small espresso martini was $12, my boyfriend's beer didn't quite look like a full pint but was only $4. We did laugh that it was called Tiger piss. The espresso martini is good, but beware there's no actual cream liquor in the drink - they seem to squirt some foamy concoction from an unmarked squeeze bottle in a fridge on top, which was interesting. Overall, would come back here if I was bar hopping for cocktails - but wouldn't go out of my way to try it again. Great idea to send people here while waiting for Public Domain!

Excellent meal, friendly service, and a fair selection of beers. This past weekend, my family and I went to Steele & Hops for supper, and we had a great time on the patio. The goat cheese toasts and cheese curds, the burnt end app, the burger my fiance had, the huge turkey sandwich, and the Korean and New Orleans bowls the family ordered were all outstanding, as was Abbey, the restaurant's outstanding server. However, I believe there could have been more goat cheese on the toasts. We had no concerns at all, and we plan to return. read more
