Fried green tomato steak sandwich Perfect!

I came to get a to go order and as I sat at the bar the 2 employees are busy looking at their phone and the other was on her computer looking like she was studying. Just no human connection today. They were attentive when someone walked in as I sat there But after people where seated it was back to computer and phone. No eye contact not even when he handed me my bill. Leah and him were talking about him making it to his class on time. 1200 on 2/17 I get it life is busy. This a customer service job and not once did I get eye contact not even when he handed me my food. The food was good! I got the pork sandwich. It was delicious everything from the pork to the pickles to the sauce to the bun on point I got Cajun fries with the fry sauce and the fry sauce is amazing. This is great food. Customer service needs work.

Soda bar!

Absolutely disappointed. We waited for about an hour and 15 minutes, maybe an hour and a half. 5 soda refills later our food comes out. The chicken pot pie was so salty, Luke warm at best, and I'm honestly not entirely sure the chicken was cooked all the way through. I would have thought the wait was due to the pot pie cooking but was very mistaken. I picked out the chicken and tried to eat what I could because I was starving, but was pretty off put but the meal. We had a part of 4 and 2 of them ordered salads. This place is so cute, but honestly an enormous bummer to have traveled from out of state and had this experience.

I've been here for dinner and brunch now, and it's one of my favorite places to eat in Provo! It has the classiest ambience. For fine dining, it's very reasonably priced as well. For dinner, I got the mac & cheese appetizer with their fried chicken, and it was the perfect portion size! Everyone else at my table raved about how good their food was, so we all recommend any of the fried chicken sandwiches or salads! For brunch, I split the farmer's breakfast and the Belgian waffles with my sister, and both were absolutely divine. The waffles in particular were so light and fluffy, perfectly cooked. The biscuits are a must as well! Very buttery, perfectly salty. Oh, and did I mention their sodas are to die for? Most of them use cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, if you care about that kind of thing. The caramel apple soda was a favorite at our table! The service is fantastic as well. Mostly young adults, all very attentive and professional. We will definitely be coming back!

Everything from the service from Leah to the decor ambiance and food were spot on. Highly recommend! Mac & Cheese we added sirloin, fried pickles, and the McConaughey Steak Sandwich with fried green tomatoes so so delicious!

This is a cute little restaurant. My sister and I both got the 22 club and loved it! It was a great portion size. We both got sweet potato fries with ours which were good, but could've used a little salt. Their fry sauce was not my favorite but to each their own. We got seated really quickly after getting here on a Friday evening which was amazing! Our food also came out pretty quickly. The only negative thing I have to say is that we were sitting waiting for a while after we finished eating for our waiter to come back over to us. Other than that the staff was super friendly and the food was good!

They said their mac & cheese was the best in Utah two years in a row, so I gave that a try. The mac & cheese had some crumps on top that went well with it. I liked the texture, too. This was definitely better than the average mac & cheese out there, but I would choose other food over this. I also got some waffles. They are very fluffy, and I liked the buttermilk syrup they have. The sweetness was just right, better than the regular syrup. We had a party of 19, and they were accommodating and found a spot for us to sit near each other. It was a little crowded, though. A big shoutout to our server, Trevin, who was very friendly and helpful. However, I wished they had one more server for us because it took a long time for everyone to be served. Overall, they still provided great service, considering the big size of our group.

Set in a quaint historic building, the atmosphere is chill and inviting. The stag is very friendly with smiles all around add to the atmosphere. We hat the Black berry salad and the Nashville chicken sandwich. Neither one disappointed. Later enough portions to take and have later is great far anyone staying at the surrounding hotels.

Kids meal waffle with fries and a side of pickles

Station 22 is one of very few southern restaurants in the area and it's on center street so it's a fun location. I do hope in the future something of slightly better quality arrives. The options on the menu are diverse and delicious sounding but unfortunately the quality is lacking. Our food also took almost an hour to come out and the restaurant was not even a quarter full. Our server was kind though. I ordered the chicken fried steak (something I loved eating as a kid) and the meat was cooked nicely but the flavor was lacking. There were very few green beans in my gravy soup - I was expecting more green beans with a topping of gravy. The gravy had great flavor though. The pickles were neither crunchy nor salty and were a large let down as well. Especially when you pay $2 for about 8-10 chips. The kids meals was great for my toddler but I found it to be pricey ~$9 after tax. My father ordered the Cobb salad and said it was the worst he's ever had. Parking on center st. Can be difficult so plan to walk a few blocks.

Walking in this restaurant, it looks super cute. We had reservations, but we didn't really need them as we came on a weekday and it wasn't very busy. I came for a special occasion and was so excited to try something new, and sadly was disappointed. I think if I was a soda drinker, this place would have been rad because the shelves were lined with colorful sodas so if that's your thing, you may enjoy it more. Our waitress was super nice and seemed excited to be there which gave me good expectations. I saw they had two of my favorite dishes, fried green tomatoes and shrimp and grits so I felt like it was set up to be a great night. I am not sure what region these versions of the dishes were from, but it was not what I was expecting at all. The fried green tomatoes were battered in something with a gritty texture and the sauce did not complement the gritty texture or tone it down. The shrimp and grits were surprisingly more disappointing. When I asked how they were (because I've had some sub par dishes) the waitress said, and I quote "they're really good!" Man I should have detected the lie. The grits were more cheese than grits and they were more saucy than gritty. The sauce, my oh my was it bland. There was flavorless, watery sauce, and there was a LOT of it. The shrimp had no seasoning on it, or if it had it had been washed off by all that sauce. The textures of everything were just off. It felt like either the chef had never tried them and/or the person who created the recipie never has had real shrimp and grits. If you want shrimp and grits or fried green tomatoes that are actually worthwhile, look up I'm Sandy or Draper area and try up there. My man had the chicken fried steak and although he preferred it over my food, he wasn't impressed either. Definitely not a place for Southern food. I can't speak for any of the other dishes as this was my first time here.

I always feel like a phone call is the first impression of a place, and he immediately gave us such a good vibe. When we came in, they were clearly slammed with only Angelo and another sweet girl working, but you never would've known it from his service. I'd honestly come back for the service alone! Also, my boyfriend LOVED the French dip steak sandwich, and the sourdough is a must in my opinion :)

My friend and I had the Traditional Navajo Taco(s) and his wife had the Sheep's Steak Salad. Everything was delicious. I put the "s" in parentheses because the menu is in plural but it really is just one taco. The Navajo Taco description from their website: Our Navajo tacos are a true taste of tradition--crispy, fluffy fry bread tacos topped with flavorful ingredients, served alongside cilantro-lime rice and pinto beans. Whether you're searching for Indian tacos near you, Navajo food, or the best tacos in Provo, this dish hits the spot. Find out why so many call this the top Navajo taco at one of the most authentic Navajo restaurants around. Also known as Navaho tacos, it's a must-try comfort food. It was excellent. The fry bread was nice and spongy and the toppings were flavorful. The refried beans and the rice were also excellent. Not just good, but excellent. She really enjoyed her steak salad as well. All in all a really good meal, didn't even miss the gourmet burgers. So yes, you better make a reservation. And this was a Thursday night. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. The server was attentive to my needs, took enough time to have conversation, but also left me to enjoy my meal. Being a restaraunt in a hotel the decor was pretty plain. Open with tables closer together than most would prefer. I really wanted the buffet to get started. Most companies are not as generous as mine giving me a $25 allowance for breakfast, but even at that a $22 buffet does not leave room to leave the server a reasonable tip. They should take this into consideration when pricing. There are many other breakfast buffets that are priced much more favorably and usually have a bigger selection. I opted for the western omlette. It was served with potatos which were fine. The omlette taste fine but was really scrambled eggs with ham and veggies mixed in, cooked, then folded in half and topped with cheese. An omlette with the veggies and cheese stuffed inside a thin egg base is always so much better. Hotel food is usually about convenience, so I got what I expected, decent service, acceptable food and a price point higher than average.

The setting was elegant but relaxed, everyone loved their meals, and our server Sariah was phenomenal- so attentive and welcoming! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding lunch. Sariah and her team handled our party of 14 flawlessly. Between us all I think we must've sampled almost everything on the menu haha! We tried the braised lamb shank, salmon filet, French onion soup, lemon roasted chicken, chicken tortellini, manhattan steak, and even the Ruben sandwich. It was all fantastic and cooked to perfection. Service starts with drinks, buttery dinner rolls (delicious!), and an unexpected delectable amuse-bouche of dried fig and honey on top of a slice of Parmesan - it was lovely and a very elegant start to the meal. For drinks, Sariah recommended the lemonades as they are the house specialty and made fresh - so hubby and I tried a raspberry lemonade and a blackberry lemonade. They were refreshing, delicious, and not too sweet. Not too long after, all the food came out. The meal finishes with a complimentary plate of hard lemon candies which was a nice touch. The decor in the main dining room is lemon tree themed and I absolutely loved it! It's cozy and fun - like dining in a lemon orchard. But unfortunately they sat us in a back room that felt a lot more flat - almost like a conference room. It would've really made our whole experience that much better if it had also been decorated in their lemon tree theme - and that really is my only complaint. But the room was elegant enough and very private for our little family party. So it isn't really much of a complaint and certainly not enough of an issue to detract from the overall experience - just something to be aware of. We had a lot of "preferences" we had to consider in finding a restaurant for my son's big day, so after an extensive search, we settled on La Jolla Groves for its elegant atmosphere and accommodating menu and we were more than satisfied. I easily made reservations online but also spoke to them on the phone to confirm and ask some questions. They do require a credit card to secure the reservation for a large party (we had 14 guests) but there's no charge for making the reservation - only if you cancel on very short notice. They're located in a large shopping area with plenty of parking. They're kind of behind the stores but there are maps on site to help you find the entrance. Thanks again to Sariah and La Jolla Groves for taking such great care of us on our special day!
