Typical excellent experience. Great location to Mall, White House, and other sites. Indoor and outdoor seating. No parking or drive through of course. Clean bathrooms. Great staff: helpful, nice, efficient, and courteous.

Super quick in & out! Got a Pistachio latte, that I have been wanting to try, & a cheese danish. Service was friendly, fast & efficient! Perfect start to my day & my long weekend! Cheers!

Ok, I must first admit that I'm not much of a Starbucks fan, so this might even be a first review of one of these for me. Do realize that I do enjoy a clgood cup of coffee, but have always viewed Starbucks as overrated and overpriced. Well, I had an appointment to have my car repaired nearby first thing in the morning, and the closest warm hangout spot proved to be this Starbucks. I must admit that thing location I found to be quite a pleasing experience. I tried the pistachio latte and a bakery item, both of which were rather tasty. As I sat in the upper level, in some rather soft and comfortable chairs, I had the misfortune of spilling most of my latte all over the floor. A barrista was in the area for another purpose, but rapidly assisted me in the cleanup of my mess and had another latte prepared for me. Stellar crew at this location, my hats off to the ladies there.

All roads lead to Starbucks, am I right? I just can't stay away. Like most Starbucks locations, this location is quick and reliable. There's no outdoor seating here, but there's plenty of indoor seating!

White washed old Starbucks. Girls are friendly but there are too many mobile orders! Empty those trash bins it looks derelict. Review: 4

Looking for a unique coffee shop with a familiar name? This Capitol Hill Starbucks will do just fine with its setting in an old two story building. Nothing alerts you to the fact it's a chain coffee shop until you see the sign. It even has a bit of a secret area most in a hurry would never know about. The beautiful Capitol Hill setting with nicely landscaped yards in the surround is part of the reason I elevated to a 4. Its coolness factor screams check me out. The exterior has a patio left of the entrance. The walk up had some minor debris and I noticed rotted wood on the front window that needs attention. Street parking is in front and limited. Make no mistake this shop is no secret and on a weekday morning around 8 AM it was slammed!!! They were packed inside and most of the first floor. The interior also has a different feel with high ceilings, drop lighting dark louvre blinds on the windows. All the elements are of course present with merchandise that you're in a Starbucks. The line moved quickly and I ordered a White Chocolate Mocha in a for here mug with lemon pound cake. My wife a black iced tea. The staff was very busy, but I did conjure up a smile from the staff and the app worked flawlessly. I sat at the end of the bar and prepared my day of tour of the city. The coffee, cake and tea were out in around 10 minutes. The tea came out ahead. This is longer than I'm accustomed to, but I can let it go. They were busy and Mobil orders were cranking out. I really liked the hustle of the staff. The coffee was up to my specifications since this is my usual. The cake fresh. I enjoyed people watching over my breakfast very much. Movers and shakers, mom's with strollers and tourist all meshed together with a common goal of a caffeine fix. The secret behind this shop has yet to be revealed. A glorious second floor space that's a must to check out is the locals "secret".. Exposed brick, comfy seating and I beams with a fireplace sound enchanting? A large wooden communal table seats twelve. Windows let the sunshine in, but it's not overbearing opposite the sun. Lots of areas to plug in too! They even offer a walled off private room that easily seats six. The biggest surprise was that it had lots of availability for customers to seek refuge from the craziness below. I'm a fan of Starbucks and enjoy a cup a few times weekly. This gem of a store stands out as a charmer with its gorgeous setting and second floor space. 3.5, rounding up and recommend.

Was greeted by someone outside shaking a cup for change. Place was pretty empty except for a few customers sitting on the patio. Ordered my drink with the friendly male barista (didn't catch his name) and waited for the restroom to free up. Drink was delicious & ready pretty quickly, found a hiding spot for it while I dipped into the restroom. It smelled gross, had no TP or soap in the dispenser, & urine was all over the floor near the toilet. Alerted the baristas on my way out, they either didn't hear me or they just ignored me. Use this restroom at your own risk.

We were seated on the ground floor. The decor was exotic in a pleasant way and it looked like there were many seating or standing options. It was quiet in the early afternoon. We ordered the fries with aioli, I had the lamb tartare and my friend the lamb bolognese, and we both had pound cake for dessert. We both deeply enjoyed the taste and presentation of the dishes we ordered. The fries were hot and crispy and the aioli delicious -- I only wish there were more given the generous portion of fries. My tartare had the taste and texture of pate, despite the lamb chop exterior. Very clever. The aroma was just right. The cake was warm and moist with a crispy crust. My friend remarked that dishes of similar quality, taste, and presentation would cost triple in Manhattan. Regrettably, we were charged $12 for the $10 dessert. The waiter attributed it to a "computer error," but I've had to deal with overcharging by several of my favorite DC restaurants. Whether intentional or not, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Other cons: The menu is admittedly sketchy. My friend and I were unwilling to gamble on expensive and elaborate dishes. It sounds like the reviewers here did. Also, the restaurant is located in the heart of Capitol Hill, far from the metro. It's a long walk or you'll be looking for parking. Butterworth's is now my favorite restaurant in DC. I've been wanting to bring my family here for the longest time, but I've hesitated because I don't want to deal with the contempt of the host, the embarrassment of disputing false charges, and the pain of finding parking. I've been wanting to return solo for the longest time, but I've hesitated because the place is in the middle of nowhere, and I don't want to walk 25 minutes or pay $15 for a cab ride just to pay another $50 for a meal here, as wonderful as the experience might be. All that said, in terms of taste, presentation, ambiance, and price, Butterworth's left a strong and positive impression on me.

Total came out to approximately $55. What's hot - Menu. Good variety and there appears to be something for everyone, even possibly vegans. There are sweet and savory options, eggs, french toast, salads, sandwiches, etc... - Quality. Excellent! All 3 of us really enjoyed the food that we ordered. Their french toast and omelettes are delicious. My husband particularly liked the maple syrup that was served with his french toast, because the maple flavor tasted a bit stronger than your average maple syrup. Their pastries are also delicious! Soft, good texture and not too sweet. Given the softness, my best guess is that their sweet treats are recently made. - Service. Pretty good. We did not wait very long for our orders to be ready. The hot foods, like the omelettes, french toast, and drinks, appear to be freshly made. - Price. Good value for money, given the quality and portions. - Location. Convenient location in D.C. However, given the location, be prepared for it to get busy quickly, which means decent lines and wait times. What's not - Interior space. Very tight squeeze inside. There are tables and chairs inside, but their biggest tables can only fit 4 people. If you have children with a stroller or whatever, be prepared to not have room inside. They have outside seating, but that's only conducive to when the weather is warm. This place appears to be popular, which means it can get packed very quickly and seating can be difficult to find. - Acoustics. They play relatively loud music inside, which makes it difficult to have conversations with those you're with. That the interior is small, the music travels easily, which does not help. - Omelette. Even though I liked the flavor of my omelette, it was rather thin. I prefer my omelette to be more weighty/fluffy in texture. Additionally, cheese is not automatically included with the omelette. I ordered mushrooms, red peppers, spinach, and bacon in my omelette. I mistakenly believed cheese was automatically included, but I was wrong. - Parking. Is not easy to find given the location. There is street parking, but it's very difficult to come by. Final Answer Would like to come back, but probably not a first choice given the tight squeeze of the interior. If I do return, would more likely than not order takeaway.
