Grande Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato
May T.

I discovered my favorite drink at Starbucks! I believe Starbucks made a come back with this drink: Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato. The drink was made with espresso and milk. And I can taste with coconut syrup with espresso at the bottom layer. On top layer was the cold foam that was made from whipped Ube cream with coconut flakes that were probably toasted because that's what I tasted. I am not a fan of Ube dessert but this macchiato drink works like magic. Plus, the drink itself is pretty to look at with lavender/purple color on top and brown color espresso in the middle and white milk at the bottom like 3-layers. So nice to look at and so good to drink during summer or spring season that is coming up soon.

Everything was good. Ordered through mobile app. Didn't have to wait long. Very busy location.

Had a really weird service experience at this location. My husband ordered a drink and introduced himself as Dmitry. In the end, it turned out that a drink for the name of "M" was made for us and we just stood there for 5+ minutes after it was ready, waiting for his name to be called out.

I was in the area to have my car serviced at the KIA dealership located a few miles from this Starbucks location. I'm not from the site and needed to kill a few hours until my vehicle was ready. This is an excellent location with good service. There is only outdoor seating, so space is limited if you want to work from the laptop for a few hours. The service is quick and efficient, and there is only one bathroom. This place isn't great for large groups or study groups. My usual order is a grande ice chai with almond milk and a bagel with cream cheese, and this time, I got a chocolate chip cookie as well. Free, easy parking.

The little stickers you add to your beverages really make me smile on a May Gray Day. Thank you. I also love having this location so close to home because there are mornings where making your own lattes just seems too tedious. Love the app for online ordering. You guys are on point

Have I gone blind or is that NOT a Sugar Plum Danish as ordered?! ‍

There is no option for no star or half stars & there should be! I started stopping here regularly on my way in to work cuz they seem to be on their game but they were living up to typical "Monday" standards it seems! I will bring them back their wrong order when I have time but the whole point of a mobile order is cuz time is money & I don't have time to lollygag in the mornings on the way in to work!!! ‍

I ordered a venti brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso and received this. Everywhere else I go they fill it to the top and here they're saying it's not supposed to be filled to the top? That doesn't make any sense.

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! I think saw they used a bottomless portafilter ? Might have mis-seen. But for those unfamiliar, bottomless doesn't divide your shots into two physical shots. so it looks like "one" shot. but it would be 2 shots if it had that attachment. Shots are dialed by weight, so your coffee will be consistent! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

It's a great selection and some of the combinations work wonderfully. I'm not a fan of all of their drinks, but it's not bad. It's more a personal preference on how they make their drinks and it's just got a unique touch to it. This is where I say to each their own. Give it a try and see which ones you prefer. Customer service is wonderful! It's always nice to come here and talk with the employees. They're great people overall and they seem to be of similar personalities. The indoor space gets filled up very quickly. It's an open area, but there's almost always a line out the door. They can get really busy and your drinks may take a while if you come during peak hours. Thankfully, they might open up the window so an outdoor breeze comes through. This way, the place never gets humid. Plenty of outdoor seating areas if you want to spend more time here. It can be hard to get here because you have to street park, but it's worth it.

The prices are outrageous, and the quality is terrible. I ordered a matcha latte, and my friend ordered a Spanish latte. Both were poorly made, and we paid over $14 for two tall-sized drinks. To make matters worse, the cups were half empty and filled mostly with foam. The staff was unwelcoming, customer service was practically nonexistent, and the place itself was filthy and falling apart. They don't even have a restroom anymore, which is strange because I clearly remember they used to have one. It's honestly disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed deteriorate so badly. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't stay in business much longer. The place was practically empty, and after this experience, I can understand why. Definitely overpriced, poorly managed, and not worth a return visit.

Actually, all of their employees. Place was packed. Wanted to see and know the sizes of the cups for me to decide which one to go with and the price difference. I thought that they would also have some breakfast items like egg, bacon, sausage, cheese etc..they didn't. They only had plain bagel and Cream Cheese. My Latte tasted very good, on the flip side the Croissant wasn't as warm and fresh as I wanted for it to be. I asked the ladies behind the counter to warm it up again. The muffin was very fresh and delicious. Lauren handed me the Latte and my goodies. I don't want to dock a star for the Croissant, but it could have been a lot more fresh. Place was clean, with one gender neutral restroom, inside and outside seating, and the price was right for the 3 items that I got. $14.00 in total plus my tip of $2.00. Street parking only, woman owned, beautiful art work on their walls by famous artists, merchandise for sale, and nice music from the 80's playing overhead. I lucked out though and got a spot right in front. This coffee shop has kind of a punk retro vibe to it. Black and neon pink are the main colors found in its decor. They have some seating inside. We went with the gold digger latte (made with real honeycomb) and the 20 oz iced brown sugar latte. There was only one worker here and some orders ahead of us, so it did take a bit of time until our drinks were ready. I tried the gold digger and it was really tasty! Unfortunately I didn't love mine so much. I asked the worker about it, saying how I felt it tasted a little bitter or sour and they kindly were willing to help make sure the drink was something I enjoyed. The 20 oz has 4 shots of espresso so they had mentioned I'm likely tasting the espresso since it's a much higher ratio of espresso compared to milk than the other two size drinks. I tried it with more sweetener and it did help somewhat but I would get something else next time. I think the 16 oz size though is the better size to go with!
