Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. They keep messing up drinks. I ordered tall iced cold foam cappuccino the other day and they made it sweet. Today I ordered the same drink but put MORE THAN half cup of foam. If I wasn't in a hurry to get to work I would've asked them to remake my drink. They need to retrain their baristas on how to make drinks. Foam shouldn't take more than half the damn cup. Also, the espresso tastes like shit. It shouldn't taste like it's burned. This store needs improvement on their drinks' quality. read more

The people who complain about parking would know that there is parking in the back, about 15 feet away, if they would just enjoy their day, breathe, and not fight over the 10 parking spots in the front. The back parking is huge by the way, about 40 spots. With that being said, I love the staff. Claudia makes the best carmel machiatto at 120. The manager is always calm and seems very nice with is staff. The pastry section is always stocked. Which is important, no one likes to look at an empty pastry section while they think of what to order. read more

I really like this remodeled store. Although fairly small for the crowd they get ALL the time, they are managing fine. I appreciate their effort to move the patrons quickly in and out. MThe other day I noticed the manager meeting with a district manager figuring out ways to smooth the operation further. That's great effort. And the crew are really working hard. I see it every day. Always a lot of traffic but they seem to manage the long lines here pretty well. Considering how busy this location is they manage the traffic flow pretty well. I have always been in and out pretty quickly. The staff is decent in terms of being friendly considering how much is going on. Definitely my go to place when I'm in the area. PRO's: Close to work. 90% of staff is great! Cons: Some people who work here need to get another job. Not happy? Get out. You know who you are (Tall Female, HIspanic who works in the morning). The staff is friendly. The store is clean. The service is fast and great. But the parking sucks! It's either full or the yahoos in the big SUV or trucks who can't park for S*@t take up a space and a half. So I don't come to this location very often. Ditto the other guy - long line, slow staff, drink order messed up. And I can add another one - lies about not having change for a $50. Cashier wouldn't make change for me, but after getting my (messed up) drink and coffee cake, I sat down at one of the three tables inside and heard one of the customers in line talking to the cashier. They obviously knew each other. The cashier either didn't realize I was still inside, or didn't care, or thought I was deaf, because when the customer gets to the register, he asks the cashier to break his $50, which the cashier did right on the spot. This is actually a decent, yet small Starbucks location. During peak hours, they appeared to have planned ahead and had plenty of baristas and cashiers on hand. They even had someone taking orders in line to help expedite the process. I've never had problems with my drinks and the staff seem friendly enough. All-in-all, they seem to run things very smoothly and efficiently here, especially when it's crazy busy in the morning. Keep in mind, there seems to always be some kind of line, no matter what time of the day. This is a fairly easy location to access from Burbank Blvd. It's in the strip mall with Panda Express on the other end. The parking lot is small and can get pretty crowded in the mornings and evenings. There is some street parking off the sides street, Tilden Ave, if necessary. There is also a continuation of the parking lot around the back of Panda Express. There are only 7 tables outside and 6 tables inside, so they go quickly. I came here hoping to sit down and log on to their WIFI. When I asked the employees they had no idea how their own wifi system worked, and they didn't even know how to prepare my iced coffee correctly. I was told to just follow the directions which would come up on a web browser. There was no instruction page, just a page asking for a password. Finally after some exploring, I found a toll free number, and called it. The person on the other end told me to ask the Starbucks employees for directions on how to get a password and log on. 30 minutes wasted out of my life later, I left. I got the feeling that this isn't even free wifi, and that Starbucks expects their customers to pay for it along with the high coffee prices and atrocious customer care. Sorry, but this Starbucks needs to up their game before the Health Department ups it for them! On two occasions I have seen flies crawling around inside their pastry case. That's pretty bad considering I haven't lived in the area for two years and rarely go to this location. The most recent fly sighting was a few weeks ago. Both myself and another customer pointed out the fly, and yet the employee continued to sell items out of the case after we informed her. The other time I saw a fly in there was a few years ago, and that time the employee immediately emptied the case and disposed of the contaminated treats. The line gets really long here, they don't seem to be as fast as other locations. I will absolutely avoid this location after the most recent visit, and I would advise anyone who comes here not to eat anything from the case! read more

Wow I couldn't believe the great service and friendly staff at this starbucks ! They got my order right away and was ready before I got to pick up. Sara, Amanda and Diego are great . I drive and work long hours and is nice to have a home away from home. They're very busy, which I took as a sign that they're good. Yet, once when I went there, I was the only customer and the cashier didn't see me, although I was standing right in front. He was too busy chatting with co-workers. When he did notice me, he apologized and I get it. I was once his age and needed to learn to be professional, myself. Another time the place was packed. My drink was ready, I guess, but I didn't know it as no one called my name or type of drink I ordered. I was standing right in front of the drink pick - up counter so I know that my name or drink was not called. After a drink had been sitting there a while, I took matters into my own hands by reading the cup and, yes, it was mine. Where was I when God was passing out mind reading skills? These were just a couple of forgivable incidences but I'm only giving two stars because the drinks, themselves, aren't that good, imo. If I'm going to wait in that long line, remain invisible to the baristas and cashiers, pay a lot of money for coffee, the drink better be worth it and it isn't here. Fairly busy location. Standard Starbucks operation. They have screwed up my order several times, but they're pretty chill about it and so as long as I'm not running late, I don't mind all too much. They'll quickly remedy the problem with zero attitude because it was their mistake. And mistakes do happen, it's how you deal with them is what I care about. They have a tendency to make my espresso shots an Americano. The mistake is usually caught when they're handing out my drink and read what it is to only realize they added water accidentally. So down goes the coffee into the drain :( Makes me very sad to see all 4 shots of liquid gold get poured out Plus on one occasion with a very vague gold member coupon for coffee and breakfast for $5 dollars, neither of us understood why the order amount came out to be ~$7.65 when they rung me up. Of course after about a minute, they realized my additional shot add-ons weren't discounted (Usually with these coupons they are like 50% off would include the shots added on as well). Instead the coupon functioned as $5 dollars for the basic handcrafted beverage. So it just subtracted like 3 dollars something off. Since it was an unexpected charge and they already ran my card, they basically refunded me my money and re ran it for 5 even when they didn't have to. read more

Despite the lines, service has always been friendly and there certainly have not been any poor experiences here. Points to the seating layout too, this is a small space they do a good amount with. I'm not a big SB fan, but came here because it was close to the courthouse, where I am trapped for my civic duty. I'd skip it, as the parking is also a free for all. This Starbucks is one of the SLOWEST I've ever been to. There is ALWAYS a line, sometimes out the door (no joke) and it can take as long as 20 minutes from the time you walk in the door until you get your beverage. The staff is nice enough, and they are working that espresso maker as fast as they can - I don't blame them for not being able to service the volume of people that come to this location - I blame the corporation for not recognizing that this location needs to at least DOUBLE in size to service the sheer volume of the place. This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to I ordered multiple items and they forgot one of my items, I initially wasn't upset because mistakes do happen, but when I called the store I spoke to an extremely rude supervisor named David whom I informed him what happened and his response was did you not notice the item missing when you were at the store. I mean that's extremely rude like I said I ordered multiple items and when the staff called my name I assumed all my items were in the bag. And David kept assuming I was lying because even tho I told him I have my receipt and can provide the check number for him to confirm my story he kept stating he couldn't do that I had to come in the store and told me to make sure to have my receipt or they wouldn't provide the missing item. I understand having to bring my receipt but he kept mentioning it with an attitude mind him I was being super nice about everything and for one I don't live in the area and was more understanding than David. I come to this location about almost every day and everyday I get the same straight face with no emotion whatsoever.
