Five stars for delicious ice cream and an absolutely wonderful team! I stopped by this Baskin-Robbins down the street to pick up banana splits and ice cream for my family, and the service was fantastic from the moment I walked in. The staff acknowledged me promptly and were ready to help with my order. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming--it made a simple ice cream run feel like a treat in itself. I had a pretty big order, and I really appreciated how attentively they listened. They took the time to understand what I wanted and even offered suggestions, which was a nice personal touch. What stood out most was the teamwork: everyone chipped in to help get everything together. There was such a positive, helpful attitude behind the counter, and I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. Of course, the ice cream was delicious! My family loved their banana splits, and I happily sipped on my delicious Cappy. Getting treats for everyone was already something to look forward to, but the exceptional customer service made the experience even better. I left the store with a smile on my face, and that says a lot. A big thank-you to the entire team for being so welcoming, attentive, and kind. I'm happy to have this location in my neighborhood and will absolutely be back! read more

I think BR's ice cream is a solid "B" grade, but I went into this location to order a birthday cake for my son, and the service from George was an "A+!" George was patient, answering all questions, and super friendly. He made us feel like our patronage was valued. Very rare. Thank you George, for such great service! read more

Not only did the cake look beautiful, but it also tasted delicious. Thank you to the team for making our celebration extra special. I placed an order on the app and it stated it would be ready by 3:20 p.m. I arrived at 3:29 p.m. and no one had even started my order. Ordering through the app is supposed to be more convenient, but there is really no point if my order will not get started until I arrive. The workers did not have good customer service either, which does not make my experience any better. read more

I've come to expect some shrink-flation with portion sizes but this is unacceptable. I ordered a double scoop Sundae. When it arrived I thought they had mixed my order up because it was so small - it looked like a single scoop, and an offensively small single scoop at that. If I had ordered a single scoop, I'd still feel ripped off. It's not apparent in the photo but this is a really small cup size - not what they're picturing on postmates. read more

Loved this place! I miss the simplicity of ordering regular ice cream. There's so many new ice cream places with weird flavors, nowadays. My kids eyes just lit up, when we walked in. I really hate to be that guy, so let me state right off as a Yelp Elite - I have no idea if this branch is good or not. Why? Because I've recently ordered twice via DoorDash only to have THIS branch instantly cancel the order without any explanation. Let me tell you, that is NOT a way to run a franchise. DoorDash should remove this location until they stop doing that. I've always loved Baskin-Robbins since growing up in the 1950s (we had one just a few blocks from my house), and I'm sure I'd enjoy it once more if only they didn't cancel the orders. read more

I walked in and it was immediately asked to leave because I had my service animal. The person did not even ask if she was a service animal. Nor did he care. My dog stays in a bag attached to my person at all times. She was not on the floor or anywhere near a counter or items being served. Another fantastic experience at this lovely shop! Again needed something special and even though they were pretty much at closing time, AUSTIN the manager allowed me to place the order over the phone to pay in person so that I could still fulfill the order!! Everyone that works at the shop is always just so friendly, helpful, and kind... Not something you see in younger folk these days a lot... And certainly unusual for a shop that gets overloaded with demand during the hot summer months! Five stars to the owner and the entire crew! read more

3-21-24 @4:20pm I usually do not rate, but I am putting 5star because the ice cream and place my family loves it! But today I brought my kids for a good ice cream day. Unfortunately, the employee who serviced us might've been having not a good day. Just felt that customer service should've been more better. She did not say hi, and was very serious, a little rude. When my husband was ringed up she did not say thank you and gave him his receipt with an attitude. Overall, just want to say the ambience should been better, is something that it could be fixed. Great customer service and even better health and safety practices. Baskin has a ton of great ice cream varieties and a fair amount of non-dairy options as well. The wait time is super quick even on a busy weekend or warmer time of year though let's be honest a lot of us enjoy ice cream when it's winter as well. I live within walking distance of here, but the parking lot is never completely full and an easy in as well as out. There is street parking available as well which can make coming and going even smoother depending on which direction you're traveling. read more

I took a little long to post this review due to personal reasons. But I did not want to miss the opportunity to give this location a review that they deserve. This Baskin Robbins location is my favorite one. I would never go to any other location, That isn't this one. I wanna start off by thanking the full staff here they are the best superfriendly nice, and they offer the best customer service. Second, I want to thank them for such a great cake that they made for my son. Starting from the staff that took care of my cake order when I first walked in, I wish I had gotten her name. Also, thank you, Tariq, for the great customer service. A special thanks to the cake decorator Deborah for the amazing job she did on my cake. It was more than I expected. She went above and beyond, and we absolutely loved it!!! My son was extremely happy with his cake. If u guys are looking for a cake, this is the place to go to. I was going to write a bad review due to the fact that I had a bad experience with two of the employees regarding customer service. I spoke with Tariq who is the manager at this location and I was very pleased with the phone call. There was miscommunication and understanding. My husband and I are very happy with the way this was handled. Ranting about bad reviews over businesses does not fix things, it's communication and customer feedback. aaahhhh! we all scream for ice cream! Lol baskin robbins is a place made for someone like myself...i LOVE ice cream. we came here to end the day with some creamy yumminess. there are so many flavors to pick from...aaaahh, which one, which one?! like a kid lost in a toy store, trying to choose one "favorite" is the hardest, so ofcourse, sampling starts. i'd tried the egg nog flavor and it tasted like rich vanilla and i also tried the blackberry one...meh, it was ok. despite my attempt to venture out, i ended up getting my usual, jamoca(coffee) and chocolate. it was rich and creamy. it would've been nice if we all had sat together outside, but no seating area except only few inside, therefore minus one star. sorry baskin robbins. read more

this place was filthy! i mean damn it was dirty. The ice cream was whatevers. I had the red velvet and it tasted like mild red bean. not very sweet which was a plus. Considering the lack of options in this area for ice cream/desserts (and i do not want to drive down to ventura bl), it was br or mcdonalds $1.00 cone. Needless to say McD's 100 penny cone tastes much more artificially lab-based food flavor than BR's articially lab based, machine made "hand" crafted ice cream. read more

I found this bakery through Yelp because I was looking for a custom birthday cake for my…read moregranddaughter's 3rd birthday party. I contacted the baker about a Blippi and Meekah-themed 6-inch cake. The quote was $145 for the cake plus $25 for an edible image, for a $170 total before the amount later identified as tax. Free pickup was offered. I was dealing with several important things at the time and did not respond to the initial quote immediately, but I prepared my confirmation on September 12, the date given to decide and contacted the baker on September 13 to confirm the order. She accepted the order and provided payment instructions. I do not use Zelle or Venmo, but I have Cash App and was prepared to either pay cash in full in person or the deposit that way. Before sending the deposit, I asked one simple question: why was the total $186.63, including $16.63 in tax, when the quoted cake and edible image totaled $170? I was simply asking for clarification before paying. I asked because my understanding of California Department of Tax and Fee Administration guidance is that a whole cake sold to go is generally not subject to sales tax. I wanted to understand the basis for the additional charge before making my payment. I was not refusing to pay; I was asking for clarification. Instead of answering the question, the baker abruptly canceled my order. I attempted to call to discuss it directly, but was sent to her voicemail mailbox which was full and I could not leave a message. Afterward, she explained that she had become uneasy about the order and said she was canceling for the best. ‍ She also characterized my statement that I would accurately review my experience on Yelp as a threat of a bad review, which is not something I would do. I would never threaten anyone. I was explaining that I would give an honest account of my actual customer experience which is what Yelp is all about. What disappointed me most was that the order had been accepted and confirmed, yet asking a question about a charge resulted in the order being canceled rather than the charge being explained. I am a disabled grandmother and was trying to arrange a special birthday cake for my granddaughter's party. I would have preferred a simple answer to my question and a completed order. Based on my experience, I would not order from this business again. but instead I will go to back ordering from Nothin Bundt or Susies Cakes and just order the toppers online, that way I know what I am getting with no hidden fees.

The chocolate cake had a nice flavor and paired really well with the thick, creamy vanilla frosting. The coconut cupcake was also good, especially if you like coconut, although the cake itself was a little stodgy and dense compared to what I was expecting. The chocolate with coffee icing was good as well, and I liked the slightly richer coffee flavor with the chocolate cake. Overall, I thought SusieCakes lived up to the hype, especially if you're someone who loves frosting. I think the frosting is what really makes these cupcakes stand out, while the cake portions are good but not necessarily amazing on their own. I'd definitely come back to try some of their other flavors, but I'd especially want to try more of the cupcakes with their buttermilk frosting.

Jackie's customer service was excellent! She has such a sweet personality, was incredibly helpful, and her attention to detail made the entire experience feel special. The entire staff at the front of the store is wonderful as well. I purchased a 9-inch chocolate cake with vanilla icing, and I could not have been happier with my experience. She gave me all of the costs upfront and walked me through my choices for cake size, flavors, icing, and other details. Nothing was hidden, and there were no surprise charges. The total cost was $106, which I thought was very reasonable, especially since I placed the order less than a week before pickup. I really appreciated that they accommodated my order on such short notice. SusieCakes definitely earned 5 stars from me, because everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience enjoyable from beginning to end.

WOW! I am in love with baskin robbins. Not only is this place walking distance from home, their ice-cream is perfect. They have any flavor i desire. Although i order the same thing almost every time, they have a wide variety of delicious ice-cream. For those of you who choose to read reviews before attending restaurants, i recommend trying the oreo's cookies and cream milkshake. It is perfect for a warm day and it hits the spot every time. So I went here before and Elizabeth and Vaughan serviced me before in January for my dads bday cake, but today was a disappointment. This one girl with dark brown hair serviced my sister and me today. But she was on one, she was giving us attitude for now reason.
