I am in love with the French Toast cookie with fresh butter and maple syrup! Unbelievable!

After an amazing dinner, I wanted to go somewhere that had delectable desserts and this was the closest place in the area. I ended up ordering a Rocky Road cookie along with Mini Cookies that included Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, and Peanut Butter. It was all incredibly tasty and I think I made sure to get home in time to have these with almond milk! Every bite was filled so much flavor and I am so glad I saved enough room for these treats right after a scrumptious meal! I was able to park on the street and walk right on in to a welcoming establishment. The employee was friendly and helpful. I even noticed an interaction they had with a guest where they helped them decide on what to get with an authentic recommendation. Whenever anyone brings up this establishment, I make sure to give them my full support to let them know that it is a gem indeed. read more

I've been going to this location for quite sometime but lately the service is really bad. I came in and was expecting someone to ask me or even greet me, but no one did. There were 3 employees working, the Asian lady was decorating the cookies but totally ignored my presence until I said excuse me. Then I said I need to get my reward cookie which is one piece, she rudely said I can't order one because they run out of single box, not even saying sorry we just run out of single boxes . I came twice lately to this store and same reaction. from the employees esp the Asian one. I hope the owner will do something to correct and train their employees to be courteous to customers. There are a lot of pastry shop around Encino and when customers realize this, you might loose a lot of your customers, we don't mind driving to other crumbl locations which has better customer service. First time trying Crumbl Cookies at this brand new Encino location! So the hype was built HARD from what I saw on social media...those attractive pink boxes and decadent flavors..I was intrigued and wanted to see if Crumbl lived up to the hype. Yes, expect to be paying $4-5 for a cookie so don't be surprised. HOWEVER, this is not your average cookie. In fact, I found them to be more like cakes. They were HUGE and with thick gobs of frosting on top. You could easily split one cookie between two people. This particular trip we tried the pink cadillac sugar cookie, peanut butter ft. muddy buddies, strawberry milk and dark dream. I guess they change their "lineup" of flavors weekly from what I've seen on instagram. Flavors: Pink Cadillac Sugar Cookie- Loved the cookie itself. Super THICK and soft. The frosting was a bit of a miss for me...it didn't have much of a flavor, but I was sold on the little pink Cadillac topper. Peanut Butter ft. Muddy Buddies- Great for any PB/Chocolate fans. There were a couple muddy buddies on top. Could have done without it. Again, frosting seems a bit overkill for me, but I think that's what this place is all about. Strawberry Milk- My favorite! Delightfully fruity and the frosting made sense here for the "milk" aspect of the flavor. I loved how soft it was! Dark Dream- Delicious, but it was more brownie-like than cookie-like. NOT complaining whatsoever. Pro tip: GET MILK. YOU WILL NEED IT. Overall, it was fun to give Crumbl a try. Not sure it it's my jam because of the thick gobs of frosting on top, but I think it would be fun to bring a few over to a friends house to try some new flavors or even give a box as a gift. This location in particular seemed a little chaotic, there were maybe 15 people in the kitchen all making cookies at once. The kitchen is completely open, so it was kind of fun to see! Despite the chaos in the kitchen the person at the register was attentive and helpful. We were in and out in about 10 mins. read more

I can forgive paying $4-$5 a cookie if the flavor is on point. Crumbl, unfortunately, did not bring its best for opening day. Also, the business owner's pics aren't even for this location... they're just promotional pics for Crumbl. Cute pink boxed packaging for each cookie, which is probably part of the reason why it's so expensive. The cookies are big, too, but came off soggy and pasty when we tried them. We had the French toast and the fruity pebbles. The French toast was... literally a piece of bread with maple syrup and icing or frosting on it. The fruity pebbles was sugar overload, which is to be expected, but really just tasted like sugar and not like a delicious cookie. There are other options, but I'm not sure if I care to come back and try them out. If you want a snazzy cookie that's worth every penny, I always recommend Cookie Good in Santa Monica. They're in-line with what Crumbl is trying to do. They're a drive away, though, so Crumbl will definitely be a more convenient option for those in the area. Still, I would probably prefer Paris Baguette, Cafe 86, 85 Degrees or even Porto's to this. Crumbl is in a plaza but faces Ventura Blvd. Same plaza as Target, Western Bagel and Shake Shack. There's street parking or a lot and garage in the back. read more

Decided to order crumbl through the app because I thought it would be faster... it's been over an hour since I ordered and I'm still waiting. My status bar hasn't even moved :( it just says queued for delivery. I tried calling and nobody answered. I really don't want to cancel my order but at this point I don't even know it it's worth the wait. Update: I tried to cancel my order through the app and it wouldn't let me so then I got even more frustrated and I decided to call the store and the phone was on hold / ringing for 30 minutes and still nobody answered. I decided to just contact customer service through the online chat and they were able to help me cancel the order that way but still didn't receive any sort of apology for the wait. I didn't even receive a refund ID so we will see if I even get my money back. I love crumbl and this is so disappointing. I actually wanted to cry read more

Absolutely the worst Crumbl I have ever been to. It's dirty, the cashier used her same gloves to use the register as she used to mess with her hair then place my order in a box. She said her name was Jasmine after asking several times. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they don't have one and that the people working were my only option. I'm disappointed and disgusted by how I was treated. I order a party box once a week or more for my different offices and now I'll be looking for a new option. As there are plenty. My first time and I love it!! I like how clean it is and the cleanliness of the store. The service is very innovative of how you order and they have the samples out for the menu that changes every week. I ordered the peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie and they was sooo good and soft. The taste is very good and better than mrs. Fields and I love that place it's ONE of the OG cookie spots. Another customer (Paul) in the review section below, 2wks ago had the exact same experience I just encountered personally. I was 2nd in line upon arrival and watched a half dozen people who came after me receive their order while I patiently stood there waiting for my name to be called. As mentioned by another customer, it's a small store, so you see everyone standing there in the entrance. Despite seeing you (multiple times), employees do a wonderful job of making sure to not greet you or check in on you to make sure you're taken care of. Equally great, if you're standing there senselessly for 10-15mins while the store clears out, nobody on staff has the sense to determine that perhaps something is wrong and you may need assistance. Another life lesson is affirmed this evening. "The squeaky wheel gets the oil" as they say. Helpful Hint Of The Day: Raise hell if your order doesn't show within 5mins, because employees at this location aren't concerned about you standing around exercising patience unnecessarily as they continue to operate as though customers aren't there. Local transients and homeless folks seeking refuge on hot summer days, or shelter from cold winter nights would do very well to visit this store location because the door is always unlocked and they leave unidentified strangers loitering inside their store front alone.
