I was also only told after ordering and paying that Sunday pickup isn't normally allowed -- forcing me to pick up the cake at 8am the morning of the party. That policy should be disclosed upfront. We had to change plans in order to accomodate this request she unprofessionally sprung onto us. I emailed with photos and respectful feedback and received no response. Not even an acknowledgment. As a business owner, I would have been ashamed of this! The cake tasted fine, but the communication and customer care were terrible. I would not trust this bakery for an important event, ever! Their response time is over 2-3 days via email, and the main decorator is unreachable by phone. But I called the shop staff multiple times anyway to confirm our post-holiday event date would work. Then I sent over my credit card information to secure the order and signed the contract! Come time for the event, we find out they completely forgot about my order and refused to start on it the day before due to "48-72 hour dry times". I demanded an apology over the phone and they said they're closed... so either they were lazy and didn't want to make my order, or if they're telling the truth, the cookies would not be fresh. They are so disorganized and unresponsive. I've never had a worse, more unprofessional experience in my life.
