It's always nice to come here after my morning walk, grab a coffee sit and ponder, use their free wifi and sometimes chat with the frequent coffee crowds that hang out here in the morning. The place is always packed in the morning but the service is very quick and you get your coffee in no time, hot and fresh. The baristas knew the names of the people who were usual customers here. I know that starbucks can be overrated at times (with their pricey, sweet drinks) but with the right people, this place is a really nice joint to come to, to start your day. read more

This is a nice lively Starbucks at the south end of Tracy. The next closest Starbucks is way over on 11th street so all the south siders tend to frequent this location. This spot is a nice hangout-type starbucks and certainly not geared to commuters as it has no drive through and shares a parking lot with many other eateries. It is a nice place to have a cup of coffee. It has a nice inviting open layout and allows them to rearrange tables to fit their whim. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. The crew here has been nothing short of friendly every time I have been there and their drinks are consistent and taste exactly as I expect them to. read more

Im never the type to leave reviews but as i'm sitting here waiting for my mobile order, there's a group of baristas obviously talking to a barista who was off the clock as she was talking about their group chat and how no one responded and the next thing you hear is "Im gonna tell so and so to kill them selves" and all 3 baristas just start laughing. How is that behavior acceptable? I'm at a loss for words. I've had 2 family members commit suicide, and for people to actually think it's something to joke about it INSANE. This is my second favorite Starbucks in town. It's only in second place because there is no drive-thru. I don't mind getting out when I have the time, but some days I just need to be able to go through the drive thru! I always have a positive experience here. Today the cashier/barista made sure to spell my name right. Extra points for that, since NOBODY seems to care to spell my name correctly. It's the little things that make the difference! The drinks, pastries and foods here are always good and the restaurant interior is always clean. The lobby has a nice ambience, pretty low key. It doesn't really ever get crowded at this location and when it does get busy I still get my order pretty fast. All in all a good solid Starbucks! I will definitely be back! read more

Absolute WORST STARBUCKS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. So, it's 11:30 right! You would figure that it wouldn't take 15 minutes to make 2 fraps tall at that. Well 2 YES 2 people got their "cold drinks" before me and normally that wouldn't bother me except I specifically said I need them as quickly as possible please. So then their like the tickets went out of order- how do you mix up tickets that are printed out in a line? ‍ so im sitting there pissed off still and then he goes well Youre next but I'll just get you a refund? Like WHAT? I don't want a REFUND- i want you to make my kids drinks. Like didn't offer me a refund for all my drinks or anything. Thank God i don't live in Tracy, cause I'd avoid this like the damn plague. They're rude (except the manager- he was the ONLY NICE ONE), the rest of them need some customer service training... hope I get a refund from the manager on my card for all these drinks. Left empty handed without a coffee FAIL! Sad, I live about a mile away and frequent semi regularly. Saturday 6:20am I am the ONLY CUSTOMER in the place. there are 2 people behind the counter and at least one more walking around in back All I want is a cup of coffee, should seriously only take 40 seconds to deal with me. The old guy says.." it'll be just a minute" to which i say ok... Over 5 minutes later, I am STILL THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE PLACE and I STILL DON'T have my coffee???... but I waited a few more minutes at which time the employee that was in the back came out and asked the old man what he should do. The old man didn't say to help me get my cup of coffee???? ... it became obvious it was going to be another 5 - 10 minute wait, so I just walked out of an empty Starbucks , empty handed without a coffee! What should have been a 1 to 2 minute in an out transaction, made me an Anti-Starbucks customer forever. Because of this, I will go out of my way for better service from a different company.... i try to give this place a chance but every time after another i'm more disappointed. I swear there is always SOMETHING wrong with my drink. they either forget something, make the drink wrong in general or half ass it completely. The worst part is most of the time they aren't ever usually busy when i place the order so they can most definitely take the time out of their day to do their job and actually read the sticker when the orders come through. This Starbucks is like a home away from home for me. I come in about twice a week--sometimes more--for a refreshing drink and a chance to work, read or relax. The staff led by Roger, are always friendly and professional. If there is a problem, they will make it right. A while back, I ordered a Pike Place, which would normally take less than a minute to make and receive. Well, they got busy and totally forgot the order. One of the baristas noticed I had been waiting for a while, and when I told them the problem, they were very apologetic and gave me a $4 coupon. One investment they could make is one of those air curtains to keep the flies out during our oppressive Tracy summers. I'm typing this review as I wait for my drink order. So there was this guy in line (in front of me) who had a long list of 10 drinks to order, apparently on a Starbucks run. I was thinking... "Greaaaaat... I'm gonna be late to pick up Ryan from school..." but by the time I had finished paying for my drink, the barista on drink duty (I think his name was Roger) had already finished making 6 of the 10 drinks. Talk about a Speedy Gonzales! All the while he was friendly and made small talk with one of the regulars. The girl who rang me up (I overheard her name was Kylie when Roger asked her a question) was super sweet and friendly as well to me and all the other customers after me. I don't live in Tracy (my sister does) but if I did, I'd probably come back to this branch since they are on top of what they do! This out-of-towner appreciates y'all! PS. I should start by saying I'm not generally a fan of Starbucks, considering the myriad good authentic coffee venues around where I live. But I have to take a minute to write this because coming here was a pleasant and humbling surprise. Needing a pit stop before my last hour home, I ended up here (it's reasonably close to 580). The attitude of the staff was refreshing and genuine. The ambience is on the better end of the spectrum of ones I've been to. And the handsomely tousled barista (John if I remember correctly) poured by far the best foam I've ever had at a Starbucks and had an aura that made me feel like I was already back in the city. Stopping here reminded me that having an ethnocentric bias is bs and quality can be found anywhere, even among the soccer moms and commuters. read more

HAPPY I AM! I no longer have to do the extended hike to 11th street to get my crack in a cup...WHOOP WHOOP! Location alone deserves 5 stars since it's in walking distance and near the big ass Raley's I'm forever wandering around in. Service is a little sluggish but tit just opened so HEY. What I really like about the setup is the extra long tables that pleases my inner viking. RAWR! The paintings stretch out above these tables and the entire place keeps to Starbucks style - dark rich browns. Extra coolness stars go to the ROUND condiment station. Why was this not done before???!!! I no longer have to be patiently wait to dump my 1 1/2 equals and pound of cinnamon into my coffee. This is the nicest Starbucks I've been to in Tracy .. granted it's brand new but still inside it's spacious and you don't feel as if your standing on others to wait for your drink. I love the long bench they have against the wall for all the cyber folks and the selection of cushy chairs, benches and stools. Not a fan of Peets ... This is hands down my favorite Starbucks. The coffee shop is clean and the staff is great. I worked across the street for a few years and visited this Starbucks on a weekly, sometimes daily basis.   While this Starbucks can get very busy during the morning or lunch time rush, the staff is always friendly and very fast. My customized drinks were never made wrong and were always given to me with a smile even during the most hectic of days.   I no longer work near this Starbucks and haven't been in a few months. Every other Starbucks I visit falls short of the level of service and quality I received at this location. I'll have to make the 30 minute trip out to get coffee, for old time's sakes. read more

Different experience yesterday. I did a mobile order that said I would have to wait 15 minutes or two breve cappuccinos, and I went to get them they were late. Crazy busy, about 10 minutes after they were supposed to be ready, someone found them for me. They were not cappuccinos, they were lattes, no foam at all. I discovered this when I was walking out and just left them on a shelf near the door. There were at least 6 people working in the well, but they were getting crushed. So I understand the wait, but cappuccinos are halfdrink and half foam, right? read more

FINALLY, there is a Starbucks for all the people that live in the cuts in Tracy!! I used to hate driving all the way to the one on 11th Street (although it's only 10 mins away) whenever I was home visiting my parents, this one is so much closer! :) They have a little bar area with stools so you can sit and watch the Baristas make your drinks! The employees here are well-trained, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I was greeted and welcomed at the door. I truly loved how this particular location was furnished. I guess it's always nice to work at a brand new location. Needless to say, my drink was delicious. Beverage quality was on par! The barista and I had a short conversation about tattoos. She was pleasant! The only small complaint I have is that it gets a bit cold in here. I do realize they have no control over the AC unit so it won't affect their review.
