Stopped in with the girls for a coffee and catchup morning. Good amount of seating offered; indoor/outdoor (apparently there's a back patio), couches and high tables, lots of options. We opted for the couches and were comfy. Good amount of foot traffic but pretty quick to get our drinks, food was a lot slower and when our names were called out, it was impossible to hear so we had to keep going up to check. I got their marshmallow latte - 2/5. Aesthetically pleasing but unfortunately the taste was not my favorite. I the drink was far too milky, coffee blend was not strong at all, very lite. For food I originally ordered a "half" avocado toast meaning to order a "full". When I went back to correct my order, prior to them making it, I was charged 2 halves instead of the difference.. I didn't question it. But, a "half" is just 1 slice of store bought sourdough while a "full" is 2 slices. Sourdough was basic, store bought for sure. I shared half with my sister who ordered the cottage cheese, prosciutto and arugula one and unfortunately it was only prosciutto and cottage cheese. Definitely was missing the arugula or something else to make it stand out. We were originally offered to have cucumber slices on the side and declined but a few minutes later went back to ask for them and they were sold out of cucumbers, arugula, basically everything they could offer on the side the guy said. 2/5 for these toasts. All in all, 3 stars from me for this cafe with the majority of the rating going to the cafe itself instead of their food/drinks. Sad I had to start the year on a bad note but here goes. Def some communication issues here but I won't hold it too harshly against them. In short I asked for the Gold Dust Espresso Martini for "here" and only asked for the Iced Toasted Marshmallow Latte as "to-go." So when the "Martini" came out in a to go container I was a tad surprised. The Iced Toasted Marshmallow Latte was great. Where I found fault with it was the missing roasted marshmallow topper. As for the Gold Dust Espresso Martini Mocktail, what exactly is supposed to make it an espresso martini mocktail. It's basically a cold brew with a cold foam and a shot espresso. My friend loves getting her coffee here so I decided to come with her to try it out. Not a coffee drinker so I got a peach matcha. Unfortunately not up my alley as an avid matcha drinker. Very watered down and only a hint of green. I had high hopes as I saw them hand whisking their matcha but even then I could not taste any matcha in my drink. The presentation was cute but otherwise I would not recommend getting matcha here. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor plus the decor is really cute. Waazzaap. Had to do an errand at Tracy in the morning so I had time to kill. Searched up Central coffee, it's in the (I'm assuming) downtown area. The exterior of the building is dope brick style. They have a good selection for you to choose from, ordered the Dopio espresso, Salomon toast, and a latte. The caffeine was delicious as well as the toast. They have seating inside and outside. Service is fast for how busy they get. I closed to sit in the back(outside) and they brought me my dishes. I have been here a few times and unfortunately we are not a fan. It is in a great location and convenient to stop in on farmers market days if you're willing to wait. The find the drinks here are overpriced and in my opinion not that great. I had to ask them to remake a drink because the green tea latte I ordered tasted like water. I don't normally ask for something like that but I didn't want to spend $8 plus tip for a water-y latte. I waited almost 20 minutes to wait and have them remake it and after all that it was still gross. The staff here aren't that friendly either. We came on a Tuesday and they are a pretty busy coffee spot. We were able to sit at the green couch area walking in but every other seat including outside was taken. Line was long but moved pretty fast. I ordered 4 different kinds of coffee and a few treats. I did mention to have one of the drinks as a sit in so it was in a mug and the other iced drinks in to go cups so best mention how you would like it served for every item. I did finish my avocado toast which was so delicious but our chocolate croissant was so popular it ran out after I already paid. I asked for their donut but it was much less than the croissant and so sweet of them gave it to me for the inconvenience because it was for the kids and still refunded me. All the coffee I ordered was good and can either be hot or cold. I enjoyed the leftovers the next day and combined the 2 that were leftover. I had asked them to bring out our order to where we were sitting because pick up was more in and we were at the entrance plus I wasn't able to carry with one hand since I use a cane to walk and came with children. They happily did even though I did hear them call out my name for the order. After leaving we ate a heavier meal next door to them and after finishing there we still had time before my hair appointment close by around the corner, came back to use the bathroom and chill with available Wi-Fi till then. I don't know if they have less busy days because for a Tuesday morning noon they were quite busy but it makes sense because everything was great. I'm not a big coffee person but I came with my brother so he could get their toasted marshmallow latte. It was so cute with the toasted marshmallow on top! I tried some of it and it tasted delicious and just sweet enough with the marshmallow. The staff were kind and tried to be helpful about what to get for a someone who's not a coffee lover but I ended up going with the safe route and getting the hot cocoa. I wish it was less sweet but otherwise, it was a great drink to warm up on a cold morning. Also, the wait times here can be a bit long depending on when you come. Literally the (central) spot I go to whenever I need to study or have a coffee date with friends/family. This is probably the only cafe in Tracy that has latte art and that clean aesthetic cafe feeling you'd get in the bay, which I appreciate because I don't have to drive as far and my cravings are satisfied. There's lots of drinks and snacks (pastries on display and toasties) options for everyone -- ranging from a smoothie to creamy sweet latte. I am more of a latte/cortado person, so I have had a fair share of the menu. The Central (white and dark chocolate drizzled latte) and Crème Brûlée (subtle notes of vanilla/caramel with torched turbinado sugar on top) are my notable favs. The ratio for espresso to milk is just right! They have lots of tables and stools, a gender neutral bathroom, and free wifi. Staff is pretty friendly and they all seem to get along, which makes the atmosphere really easy going for customers. They also have Tuesday deals after 4pm where you buy one drink and get half off the other. Saturdays are their jam sessions/music nights if that's something you're looking for. Absolutely love this place and can count on them to make yummy drinks consistently. However, the pricing is just very expensive though for a drink (almost $8 including tax for one latte) and there wasn't much salmon on my pricey half toastie despite how delicious it is. read more

Even with my noise canceling headphones, the place was occupied with obnoxious teenagers and adults who seem stuck in teenagerhood, who won't stop chattering and trying to get your attention when you really don't care and are just trying to get through your day. Super modern, hip, and clean! We definitely needed an establishment like this to get DT Tracy bustling. The coffee is good, definitely IG and TikTok worthy. Finally got to try the new coffee spot in Tracy! After have fabulous coffee shops downtown they definitely had a lot to live up to and they accomplished it! The outside patio is an adorable place to sit and drink your coffee outside. The outside is usually more empty than the inside. The inside is also beautifully decorated and feels inviting when you walk in to sit down on their cool furniture. They have so much to offer from drinks to non coffee drinks to snacks and more! The drinks tasted very good and will definitely have you planning another trip to try the rest of the menu, with so many options it's almost hard to choose. This place is soooo cute! I've passed by every Saturday on my way to the farmers market and this time decided to stop in. It did not disappoint. If you haven't been to Central Coffee Co., let me say it louder for the people in the back--this spot is a must! Walking in, the first word that comes to mind is cozy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with plenty of seating for small groups of two to three. The baristas? Super friendly and full of smiles, making the experience even better. We had the pleasure of trying their Crème Brûlée Latte and their Valentine's Day seasonal Teddy Graham Latte--and both were scrumptious! The Crème Brûlée Latte was creamy, velvety, and perfectly sweet. My favorite part? The caramelized sugar on top, which added the perfect crunchy note to the smooth latte. The Teddy Graham Latte lived up to its name--sweet, nostalgic, and comforting, topped with whipped cream and little Teddy Graham cookies. I went to this cafe for the first time this week. It was such a cute establishment. Loved the decor, the chairs and the plants. It was so bright and the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. I had the cinnamon chai latte (although I asked for hot, it sent warm to me) and a orange and berry scone (very tasty). I also had the avocado toast. That had great flavor but was disappointed that the egg was a cold hard boiled egg. The arugula and everything else was great/fresh. I will definitely go back again. I very much liked the space. Extremely Unprofessional and Unsafe - Disappointed at Central Coffee in Tracy As a regular customer who has supported Central Coffee in Tracy for quite some time, it's disappointing -- and honestly upsetting -- to have to write this review. I've made this place part of my daily routine. I've stopped in nearly every day for breakfast, coffee, and even desserts. I've always appreciated the vibe of a small local spot where you can count on good service, a familiar face, and consistent quality. And to be clear -- this place is not cheap. The prices are on the higher side, which I never complained about because I thought I was paying for a premium experience. But what I experienced recently was anything but. One day, I gave a harmless compliment about the iced tea prepared by a young female employee -- something casual and respectful. I don't even know her name, and our interactions were always limited to the normal customer-staff level. But her boyfriend, who works next door, somehow took offense to that and confronted me aggressively, clearly out of jealousy. I calmly told him to relax, that there was no reason to act like that -- I'm just a customer who comes in for breakfast and coffee. That should've been the end of it. But a few days later, he approached me again, making more bizarre and accusatory remarks. Again, I told him he had nothing to worry about -- that his girlfriend is young enough to be my daughter, and I wasn't there for anything other than my regular drink and food. At this point, I brought it up to management, hoping they'd step in and handle it appropriately. Instead, I was told they can't do anything about it. That response was shocking and frustrating, especially as someone who's supported their business daily. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or targeted for simply patronizing a business. And it didn't stop there. After I spoke to management, the same female employee -- who clearly knew about the complaint -- confronted me publicly inside the coffee shop, raising her voice, causing a scene, and acting incredibly unprofessional. Her reaction was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. Other customers saw the interaction, and I was embarrassed, uncomfortable, and honestly shocked that something so unnecessary escalated in a place I once enjoyed. The whole experience felt more like something out of a toxic high school drama than a local café that charges premium prices and presents itself as a friendly neighborhood spot. To summarize: * I was confronted twice by an insecure boyfriend over nothing. * I made a respectful complaint to management. * The employee confronted me in public, loudly and unprofessionally. * Management did nothing to address any part of it. If Central Coffee can't protect its regular customers from harassment -- or even maintain basic professionalism -- then I can no longer support them. No one should have to worry about being dragged into personal drama or feel unsafe in a coffee shop. I won't be coming back, and I sincerely hope the owners take a long, hard look at how this was handled. We came to Central Coffee for the 1st time this past New Years Eve Eve. This is a new trendy little spot towards the end of the central block close to the station. They have good coffee, places to sit if you want to hang, and also had board games, cards for the kids to play, chocolate milk, bagels, and more. The place was packed the whole time we were there. We love trying local spots and helping keep them in business by visiting there often if possible. We'll comeback here for sure. read more
