Sad I had to start the year on a bad note but here goes. Def some communication issues here but I won't hold it too harshly against them. In short I asked for the Gold Dust Espresso Martini for "here" and only asked for the Iced Toasted Marshmallow Latte as "to-go." So when the "Martini" came out in a to go container I was a tad surprised. The Iced Toasted Marshmallow Latte was great. Where I found fault with it was the missing roasted marshmallow topper. As for the Gold Dust Espresso Martini Mocktail, what exactly is supposed to make it an espresso martini mocktail. It's basically a cold brew with a cold foam and a shot espresso. It's just a mocktail in name only. VERY disappointing.
My friend loves getting her coffee here so I decided to come with her to try it out. Not a coffee drinker so I got a peach matcha. Unfortunately not up my alley as an avid matcha drinker. Very watered down and only a hint of green. I had high hopes as I saw them hand whisking their matcha but even then I could not taste any matcha in my drink. The presentation was cute but otherwise I would not recommend getting matcha here. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor plus the decor is really cute. Just not the place for me, would probably recommend to try if you're a coffee drinker!
Waazzaap. Had to do an errand at Tracy in the morning so I had time to kill. Searched up Central coffee, it's in the (I'm assuming) downtown area. The exterior of the building is dope brick style. They have a good selection for you to choose from, ordered the Dopio espresso, Salomon toast, and a latte. The caffeine was delicious as well as the toast. They have seating inside and outside. Service is fast for how busy they get. I closed to sit in the back(outside) and they brought me my dishes. Check it out foo beautiful spot, after I walked around the downtown area, nice spot came upon La Guadalupe mural. *****shout out to the workers walking them steps in the back, never ending staircase hahah***
This little cafe is so cute and since it's St. Patrick day today their place is like little Irish cafe. Service is friendly and nice. Now let's talk about what I ordered with my girls. Check it out. I'll definitely come back to have their chai latte again.
Very cozy small town feel. They have holiday specials too. Service is nice and fast. Very nice hidden treasure in this area.
We came on a Tuesday and they are a pretty busy coffee spot. We were able to sit at the green couch area walking in but every other seat including outside was taken. Line was long but moved pretty fast. I ordered 4 different kinds of coffee and a few treats. I did mention to have one of the drinks as a sit in so it was in a mug and the other iced drinks in to go cups so best mention how you would like it served for every item. I did finish my avocado toast which was so delicious but our chocolate croissant was so popular it ran out after I already paid. I asked for their donut but it was much less than the croissant and so sweet of them gave it to me for the inconvenience because it was for the kids and still refunded me. All the coffee I ordered was good and can either be hot or cold. I enjoyed the leftovers the next day and combined the 2 that were leftover. I had asked them to bring out our order to where we were sitting because pick up was more in and we were at the entrance plus I wasn't able to carry with one hand since I use a cane to walk and came with children. They happily did even though I did hear them call out my name for the order. After leaving we ate a heavier meal next door to them and after finishing there we still had time before my hair appointment close by around the corner, came back to use the bathroom and chill with available Wi-Fi till then. I don't know if they have less busy days because for a Tuesday morning noon they were quite busy but it makes sense because everything was great. Will be looking forward to coming back because there are still many more items on the menu I still need to try
Wow where do I start? Nestled in the cute hidden downtown scene that is Tracy. This mom&pop coffee shop is one of the best I've been to. I got the oatmilk maple latter iced and cucumber toast. it was so beyond delicious. 10/10 recommend. And the baristas in the shop were all so sweet and kind answering any questions I had as a newbie. Safe to say they've earned a new regular. Skip the big corporations and support small businesses like this one
went back over memorial day weekend, and got two drinks iced americano with cream and cold foam was great! i also got a shaken espresso but it seems like they forgot the espresso since it was just milk and brown sugar with cold foam
I'm not a big coffee person but I came with my brother so he could get their toasted marshmallow latte. It was so cute with the toasted marshmallow on top! I tried some of it and it tasted delicious and just sweet enough with the marshmallow. The staff were kind and tried to be helpful about what to get for a someone who's not a coffee lover but I ended up going with the safe route and getting the hot cocoa. I wish it was less sweet but otherwise, it was a great drink to warm up on a cold morning. Also, the wait times here can be a bit long depending on when you come. A few drinks ahead of you will have you waiting for awhile but otherwise, the coffee shop has a cozy feel to it so you can sit and relax while you wait!
Literally the (central) spot I go to whenever I need to study or have a coffee date with friends/family. This is probably the only cafe in Tracy that has latte art and that clean aesthetic cafe feeling you'd get in the bay, which I appreciate because I don't have to drive as far and my cravings are satisfied. There's lots of drinks and snacks (pastries on display and toasties) options for everyone -- ranging from a smoothie to creamy sweet latte. I am more of a latte/cortado person, so I have had a fair share of the menu. The Central (white and dark chocolate drizzled latte) and Crème Brûlée (subtle notes of vanilla/caramel with torched turbinado sugar on top) are my notable favs. The ratio for espresso to milk is just right! They have lots of tables and stools, a gender neutral bathroom, and free wifi. Staff is pretty friendly and they all seem to get along, which makes the atmosphere really easy going for customers. They also have Tuesday deals after 4pm where you buy one drink and get half off the other. Saturdays are their jam sessions/music nights if that's something you're looking for. Absolutely love this place and can count on them to make yummy drinks consistently. However, the pricing is just very expensive though for a drink (almost $8 including tax for one latte) and there wasn't much salmon on my pricey half toastie despite how delicious it is.
Absolutely love walking into little cute coffee places! Stopped by Central Coffee for a pick me up and it did not disappoint. My latte had a perfect balance between smooth and rich. I think next time I'll add sweet cream to for a bit more of sweetness. Overall, the atmosphere was super relaxing and staff was friendly as well!
What an absolutely cute cafe! Stopped by for a catchup with some friends and I loooooved the decor & intimate feel. Felt very cozy and home-y. Wait times are great. I'm so sad that I don't live here because this would definitely be my go-to cafe. There were so many options and I wish I could try them all! The iced vanilla latte was decent and as a Nutella-obsessed girlie, the toastie was PERFECT. I only wish I ordered two! When I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be returning!
Was there for opening and I'm loving the vibes at this new spot! It's light, bright and inviting.... Not to mention it smells amazing! Glad to have them downtown tracy and I can't wait to make this a ritual! Update: my only complaint is that they only serve one size (but only because I selfishly want more!) read more
So happy to have a new coffee place here in Tracy. I'm just so delighted to see a new business downtown. I love supporting the small businesses. I am a big fan of Baristas, but it was starting to look run down. I ordered a medium nonfat latte and the blueberry scone. Unfortunately, they don't carry nonfat milk. I opted for the 2% just to try an espresso drink. I enjoyed the warmed scone with fresh blueberries. It tasted homemade even though they don't make it. They use a local baker and I appreciate that they also support small businesses. The latte was very good, but I do prefer nonfat. Will I return? Sure. It's a cozy, new place and the food and drinks were very good. Service was also very good. But this won't be my go to place until they get nonfat milk option! read more

Always love going here for coffee in Tracy. They have mugs which is a must for any coffee shop I frequent, nothing is better than a pretty latte in a for here mug. The staff is always friendly and fast even when they are busy! It does get busy which is great, sometimes you'll just have to wait a little to get a table when someone is done working which I don't mind read more

Besides the drinks being too sweet, I think it's a very cute cafe to chill or get some work/studying done! They even had games available in the back for people to play. read more

drinks were as expected, we aren't huge coffee guys but we enjoyed the drinks and esp how they looked, the service was nice expect that they didn't clean the table next us but that was only because they thought it was ours and they had live music at the end of the day WWWW, love it chairs could be more comfortable but if it's not meant tb a place to study rather enjoy sum coffee and get out regardless me n my lil brother loved the spot read more
I happened to stumble upon this coffee shop on the way to dinner a few weeks ago. I was so excited to see another coffee spot in Tracy. This is such a cute and aesthetic coffee shop. I love the ambiance and vibes. It's a really great spot to do work/study or just to catch up/drink coffee with family and friends. There's a good amount of seating with different kinds of chairs and benches. There is also free WiFi, which is a great bonus. I came here recently with my friend to do work and we had no issues with the internet. The service is good. The employee was very nice and willing to answer all of my questions. As for the coffee, no complaints. On my first visit, I ordered an iced irish cream latte, and on my second visit, I ordered a white mocha latte. Both were really good. I will definitely be back! read more
I always enjoy supporting local businesses, so I was excited to visit Central Coffee Co. I visited the shop on a Wednesday around 530pm. There were only about two other people inside. We were immediately greeted and served. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. The shop has a cool historic but modern vibe. There is seating inside and outside. They offer various food and coffee related drinks. They will be serving tea in the near future also. I ordered standard drip coffee. There is a self-serve table at the end of the counter. After adding cream and sugar the coffee tasted great. There is a beverage fridge if you feel like something other than coffee. They also offer what looks to be some tasty pastry options. They also have a book shelf if you fancy selecting a book and reading while you enjoy your coffee. Tracy has a few other local coffee shops. What I like about this place over the other shops are their hours. I like that they are open into the evening hours for night time coffee drinkers. Their prices are on par with the other shops in town. This is an awesome local coffee shop that will do well! read more

My husband and I have been here a few times now and every time we come we end up with some delicious drinks. This morning we came ordered some drinks for here and they were served in glass cups, which was such a beautiful touch. I ordered avocado toast, cause it sounded delicious and it was but when I received it, it was missing the arugula on it. I let them know and since they had a mixup, they went ahead and replaced it for free and let us keep what we had already received. It was such great service. I highly recommend this coffee shop. oh, and the atmosphere is calming and Vibing with the music. The pictures of the drinks are from the previous visit. read more
We were passing by Tracy and decided to get some coffee. We found this place on yelp. There was a lot of other business so there was plenty of parking. There was tables and chairs outside. The decor inside is top tear. They have a lot of seating here. I ordered a cold crème brûlée and my husband had a hot one. My cold drink was very good. The price was reasonable we got two coffees and a doughnut for $16. We overall had a good experience. read more
Came to this place on a Sunday since another coffee shop was closed. This place was pretty good, long wait though. When we came, there seemed to be only 1 girl making the coffees and 1 girl making the food, the line wasn't that long when we arrived but by the time we got our drinks and food about 30 minutes later the line was almost out the door. Great place but if you're short on time might not be a good idea to stop. read more
Loving our local coffee shop! The best place to get coffee in Tracy! We love trying all the different specials, Central, & crème brûlée latte. Their pastries are always on point and the cookies OMG! Love the vibe, the brick wall, flowers on the table, outdoor patio, etc. This is the place to hang out, get work done, and people watch! Their service is great, super fast and friendly (they greet you right away when you walk in). read more

While working short-term in the area, I made she to grab a caffeine fix at CE real Coffee at least once per week! The seasonal drink specials were my favorite, particularly for fall - Snickerdoodle, s'mores, toffee, pumpkin spice...SOOOO many delicious flavors to try. The baked goods from local makers are awesome, too - look for the crispy rice treats and fresh-baked cookies in myriad delectable varieties. The staff and baristas were always friendly and gracious, making a visit here a great way to start your day. You can purchase locally roasted coffee beans, in addition to choosing from their robust espresso drink menu, teas, smoothies, breakfast/lunch options and baked goods. Small cafe tables line one edge of this cozy, narrow coffee shop, with an intimate front parlor/entrance that often doubles as a live music space when not occupied by patrons studying or working on their laptops. Great little meetup spot for family, friends, coworkers, classmates, a date! Good vibes all around :) read more
So dang good. Came here to meet up with a friend and tried their toasted marshmallow latte and a vanilla latte-both iced. Both were so dang good. I also got the jalapeño cheddar flatbread. They warmed it for me and said they had hot honey (an additional dollar) and that was also delicious. I would definitely come back. The interior is clean and super cute. But their drinks and food are amazing. Most of the staff is super nice and helpful. Only one woman seemed a tad annoyed at others but she wasn't outwardly rude to me. If you are in town, definitely come here! It's delicious and the coffee is so smooth! I'll be back for sure! read more
Needed an afternoon coffee for a road trip and decided to stop by this place on our way. Never been in Tracy before so I wasn't sure what the coffee scene was like but this place was amazing! I got the toasted marshmallow latte and it was so good. One of the better coffee spots I've been to because you could really get that espresso flavor and the hint of marshmallow too. The actual toasted marshmallow was a cute addition to the drink too! Service was quick and the place has a good amount of seating area as well. Overall solid coffee spot and if I'm ever stopping by Tracy again I'll definitely come back. read more
Stopped by this cute little coffee shop while in Tracy. I only ordered the bruschetta toast cause I was hungry & it hit the spot! It was so fresh and filling. If I find myself in Tracy again I will need to stop by again and try their coffee. Service was very nice too. It was like 8 in the morning when I went in and all the girls had bright smiles with high energy which I appreciated. read more

went to Central Coffee when they opened and have been back many times since. Great coffee, service and atmosphere. Pastries have only become better with a nice assortment of traditional homemade baked goods with some croissant choices, light foods and other new items as they have fine tuned their offering. Would recommend to anyone and always worth another visit to try different coffees. I also come by sometimes on Saturday night for the live music read more

This is the cutest store in downtown Tracy with delicious coffee, retro vibes, and tons of food and drink options. The baristas are attentive and were helpful with recommendations and the service was quick and easy! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in Tracy! read more
This place is a beautiful little coffee shop with great vibes and relaxing music. Warm and toasty inside no matter how cold it might be out there on the street. They also have good options for if you arnt looking for coffee which is really nice. They offer different fresh pastries every day as well which are not on their menu as the options rotate regularly. The baristas are kind and the drinks come out in a timely manner and you can see the love in their preperation of them. This place is a must try. read more

Such a gem of a place!! I've been waiting for a place like this to open up nearby! It does get busy in the mornings, but the coffee is good and the staff and vibes are definitely worth it :) I always get the lavender latte and my husband gets a cappuccino. Sometimes I grab some pastry goodies for the kids. Last time I got them some yummy strawberry shortcake cake pops. They looked like those nostalgic strawberry shortcake ice cream bars! Haha we've been here a few times already since it opened and will continue to frequent!! :) read more

Been here a few times now! Cute little spot that's not only pleasing to the eye, but equipped with incredible service and offerings. Haven't met one person there that wasn't both super helpful and super sweet, plus, I'm finding that I'm becoming a big fan of their coffee and tea selections-- Lots to choose from and customize! Love that they offer a variety of pastries* and support local businesses! *I'm partial to their baked good selections that lean on the more "natural" and fresh side (for lack of better words, aha) as opposed to packaged ones with occasionally unneeded additives. read more

A new place in tracy and it's coffee, had to try it. We got holidays drinks! Maybe their main menu better but~here we go! Egg nog latte, hot. My boyfriend is big in coffee and to him, doesn't taste like a real coffee drink. It lacks expresso or at least the essence of it. I also agree with him, though if you like coffee, but nothing too strong, then I do recommend. Still had a good taste and has the right temperature. Naughty grinch, iced. Was really looking forward to this. Described as matcha peppermint, caramel drizzle with whip cream and some chocolate finish on top. Terrible. After my boyfriend continued trying it for me, he's convinced that it was just poorly made. However, it doesn't excuse it. Maybe it's my overexcitment that died with it made me say this, but - light matcha taste, peppermint was literally small amount of crushed peppermint candy, and the caramel was the only sweetner in it that was barely there. Otherwise, nice small place, they're still moving in. Customers already became comfortable inside. Cute little place. On that note, um me and my boyfriend will come back to try again. Maybe just order one drink. 2/5 stars, but giving them a fighting chance, we round it up to 3/5. read more

The food is just enough to get you through the morning. The drinks are sooo good and the service is always great. The ambience is so cute and quaint. I just wish it was a tad bit larger on the inside. Luckily there's seating on the outside. read more

I finally escaped for a much needed coffee date and this place was exactly what I needed! From the moment you walk in the space is super cute and decked out in fall decor! There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and above all the staff is super friendly! There's such a warm and welcoming vibe with a vast age group of patrons present which is nice to see. The only thing I didn't realize until after I ordered my drink was the coffee menu had the food menu on the back. There's pastry options as well so a little bit of something for everyone! So happy to see the business busy and thriving! Hope downtown tracy gets more of these sort of businesses read more

I went in early morning. Drive 20 mins because of these 5 star reviews. It was unfortunately not worth the drive at all. The service was great. Very sweet associates. The vibe of the place is there. If you don't know about coffee you would love this place. I was expecting a little more from my drink. It tasted like straight milk. I was not able to taste the espresso shot at all. I paid for an shot of expresso on the side to try to make it better myself, it was still not good at all. If you want a good coffee.... Don't recommend this place. read more
