We decided to grab some coffee because we got to Tracy a little early to grab our pizzas. Great coffee and pastries. My sister and I ordered iced milky ways, the wife ordered a hot macadamia cream latte. Staff were super friendly & the store clean. My sister commented how clean the restroom was. Definitely Better than any giant coffee shop, I will personally be back and recommend you come here too. read more

Really great experience, really impressed by their house made, I pastries, and their selection. I wanted to get more that I could eat. Friendly staff and barista as well! The display case for the pastries is really wonderful. The ambience inside is also very nice and welcoming for sitting and reading/relaxing and studying. Even for small children. The scone is crumbly and salty. Five out of five. The turnover is a little bit dry, I would recommend. Perhaps a more moist filling (fresh apples or cherries) or dough to the pastry chef or addition of fresh berries on top? The latte Tasted great-- initially bolded and rich on the pallet, followed by fruity tasting notes. I usually add a bit of sugar to my latte, but this one does not need a single granule. read more

Stopped in again for a second visit, this time meeting a friend for a coffee date! I didn't realize it, but the owner makes most of the pastries all on her own! Like, how can such a small mom and pop shop have such a huge variety of baked goods and treats that are freshly made in house, and still operate their business as baristas so well! I ordered the carrot cake, which is more like a loaf, off of the spring specials menu. It was fresh and delicious! Passing by into Tracy, I stopped by this lovely place in the middle of downtown Tracy. It was actually a very busy location, filled with customers doing either work or hanging out both inside and outside. Staff are very friendly, and I ordered a regular Matcha, iced. It had a typical taste of a Macha, bitter and earthy. I quite liked it, but if you're not used to straight matcha taste, I would get the other matcha options for a sweeter flavor. They also have a lot of pastry, coffee, and dessert options. I paid around $5 read more

It was my first time here, me and my boyfriend ordered two coffees and a blt. The cafe was pretty empty with only a few customers so we were expecting to be in and out. We received our coffees pretty fast but the sandwich took much longer than we expected, but we did not want to rush the staff so we waited patiently. After 10 minutes and others getting their food despite ordering after us we went up to check on our order. Unfortunately, we were told the sandwich had been sitting on the counter behind them the entire time. Ok World Coffee House, you've won my matcha heart and made me a fiend for your goodness! Once I saw they use Tenzo matcha (an organic, ceremonial grade , sugar free matcha) I was excited to try their drinks out! I'm hooked on the fresh strawberry matcha latte and the green eye (dirty) matcha latte... it's dangerous because they make it so good I could drink a gallon! I always do oat milk and it's perfectly creamy and delicious!! I also found out that they make their baked goodies, and also have a deliciously moist matcha cream cheese muffin! When i came here last week, they were unfortunately closed... but I knew they were gonna be open today, so I decided to stop by and visit once again. The last time I was here was in October, and I had a pleasant experience. This time did not failed to impress once more -- in fact, it was even better. Food: 5/5 This afternoon, I got their unsweetened matcha latte with whole milk, and a brioche sandwich with arugula and eggs and avocado. Both looked very appetizing, and were just as pleasant. I could tell that they had made these sandwiches by themselves, because of how runny the egg was. I like how green the Matcha was, and they had used actual Matcha from reliable Japanese sources, instead of the ones bought from stores. The balance of the milk and the Matcha was well-proportioned, and I could see the difference between the two. Service: 5/5 The owners were very friendly as I approach the ordering table, and they were very cordial to answer any questions that I had. Atmosphere: 5/5 They do close early, but I give them props for keeping this coffee shop, very clean and very tidy. It's also not as polluted, in comparison to other coffee shops throughout Tracy. it's very spacious, very lighted, and most importantly, very homey and welcoming. Stopped in on a Saturday morning while waiting for the farmer's market to pickup some speed. I ordered an iced green tea and the soft egg avocado toast. Both were decent, but my toast took forever to come out - due to a kerfuffle between the owner/employee and a customer who was "bathing" in the bathroom. Unfortunately a police officer showed up to remedy the situation, but I waited about 20 minutes for a basic avocado toast I could've easily whipped up at home for a fraction of the cost. It was tasty, but pricey considering how difficult it was to eat (1 hard boiled egg cut in half instead of sliced?? Also no utensils and presented in a to-go box...) Since there are other great coffee shops in the area that are tried and true, I probably won't be back to this one :/ read more

A resounding five stars! Staff is SO nice, they allowed one kids to run around even when they were closing up, we ordered a macadamia nut latte and it was SO GOOD, so creamy, literally perfection. I was early for a nearby hair appointment so I took a short walk to find a coffee and come across this little gem. I was greeted with a smile by the friendly barista who directed me to their menu. I told her I was looking for a tasty coffee that was sugar free and low in fat. She offered to make me something custom that had a bit of mocha and sugar free vanilla. My coffee was perfect and just what I needed. Cute little place. The pastries and muffins looked amazing!
