Okay, it's really weird for me to write a review that's not a five star review. I love coffee. This place just had a weird atmosphere. The drinks were fine. The food was fine. The menu had an assortment of macarons and I love macarons. But dude. Why is the most haunting, ominous, harrowing AI generated video of gospel playing in the background? Seriously I'm just sitting here sipping at coffee and nibbling on beignets and I've got this playing on the TV. Play anything else. I don't even care if it's religious, but why this??? Also just a personal preference but the coffee is too sweet. read more

World Coffee House is one of my favorite coffee spots in downtown Tracy! I always order the iced macadamia cream latte with soy milk and the avocado toast with egg. The latte is perfectly balanced..not too sweet or too strong. and the creamy macadamia on top is so good. The avocado toast is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully put together with perfectly sliced egg, thin red onions, and great seasoning. The owners are always working hard, the café is consistently clean, and every visit has been a great experience. I've also tried the Carmello latte, which is just as delicious. Highly recommend! read more

Review #968 Posted on 12.16.25 We came here for coffee on Saturday the 13th for some morning coffee & a quick bite. This is an awesome local family owned spot in downtown Tracy. It's way bigger inside than you'd think when entering, there's tons of space to sit beyond the ordering counter. They've got a good amount of choices for coffees and breakfast items to eat. I got the spinach & cheese danish, it was good. This is a family local owned spot you should come and support, they've got good coffee & great customer service. read more

Really great experience, really impressed by their house made, I pastries, and their selection. I wanted to get more that I could eat. Friendly staff and barista as well! The display case for the pastries is really wonderful. The ambience inside is also very nice and welcoming for sitting and reading/relaxing and studying. Even for small children. The scone is crumbly and salty. Five out of five. The turnover is a little bit dry, I would recommend. Perhaps a more moist filling (fresh apples or cherries) or dough to the pastry chef or addition of fresh berries on top? The latte Tasted great-- initially bolded and rich on the pallet, followed by fruity tasting notes. I usually add a bit of sugar to my latte, but this one does not need a single granule. read more

Stopped in again for a second visit, this time meeting a friend for a coffee date! I didn't realize it, but the owner makes most of the pastries all on her own! Like, how can such a small mom and pop shop have such a huge variety of baked goods and treats that are freshly made in house, and still operate their business as baristas so well! I ordered the carrot cake, which is more like a loaf, off of the spring specials menu. It was fresh and delicious! The staff is friendly, the vibe inside is casual and welcoming, and the drinks and baked goods are quality. Definitely worth checking out World Coffee House for your next cup of Joe! read more

We decided to grab some coffee because we got to Tracy a little early to grab our pizzas. Great coffee and pastries. My sister and I ordered iced milky ways, the wife ordered a hot macadamia cream latte. Staff were super friendly & the store clean. My sister commented how clean the restroom was. Definitely Better than any giant coffee shop, I will personally be back and recommend you come here too. read more

Love coming here, they have the most delicious avocado toast in town. I have been coming here for years and I come here once a week for a weekly breakfast date with a good friend of mine. HOWEVER, we will stop coming here. They care more about their DoorDash orders than the actual customers sitting in their cafe! Today we were told that our avocado toast would take too long to make because they have too many DoorDash ordered. Well, I guess you won't be seeing us anymore. Too bad, because I truly loved this place. read more

Passing by into Tracy, I stopped by this lovely place in the middle of downtown Tracy. It was actually a very busy location, filled with customers doing either work or hanging out both inside and outside. Staff are very friendly, and I ordered a regular Matcha, iced. It had a typical taste of a Macha, bitter and earthy. I quite liked it, but if you're not used to straight matcha taste, I would get the other matcha options for a sweeter flavor. They also have a lot of pastry, coffee, and dessert options. I paid around $5 read more

If you're looking for a great matcha in town, look no further! I've ordered the strawberry matcha on two separate occasions and loved it both times. The strawberry syrup is sweet and tart, and the matcha taste does not get drowned out by the milk. Service is nice and polite. The place seems family owned, and I appreciate that! read more

Nestled at the end of downtown as you get close to the train station you will find this gem with their bistro outdoor seating and comfortable seating options inside. Custom coffees that taste really good. My go to lately has been their Bananas Foster latte. Inside there are free books, boardgames to play and even coupons for other local businesses. The staff is friendly and they have a loyalty reward system. Give a shot and get perked up for your day read more

Food was amazing, macarons on point and ...swoon...fresh espresso. Ok World Coffee House, you've won my matcha heart and made me a fiend for your goodness! Once I saw they use Tenzo matcha (an organic, ceremonial grade , sugar free matcha) I was excited to try their drinks out! I'm hooked on the fresh strawberry matcha latte and the green eye (dirty) matcha latte... it's dangerous because they make it so good I could drink a gallon! I always do oat milk and it's perfectly creamy and delicious!! I also found out that they make their baked goodies, and also have a deliciously moist matcha cream cheese muffin! Highly recommend stopping by anytime they're open! Heck if you're like me, you may end up there a couple times a day!! Enjoy The good vibes! read more

When i came here last week, they were unfortunately closed... but I knew they were gonna be open today, so I decided to stop by and visit once again. The last time I was here was in October, and I had a pleasant experience. This time did not failed to impress once more -- in fact, it was even better. Food: 5/5 This afternoon, I got their unsweetened matcha latte with whole milk, and a brioche sandwich with arugula and eggs and avocado. Both looked very appetizing, and were just as pleasant. I could tell that they had made these sandwiches by themselves, because of how runny the egg was. I like how green the Matcha was, and they had used actual Matcha from reliable Japanese sources, instead of the ones bought from stores. The balance of the milk and the Matcha was well-proportioned, and I could see the difference between the two. Service: 5/5 The owners were very friendly as I approach the ordering table, and they were very cordial to answer any questions that I had. Atmosphere: 5/5 They do close early, but I give them props for keeping this coffee shop, very clean and very tidy. It's also not as polluted, in comparison to other coffee shops throughout Tracy. it's very spacious, very lighted, and most importantly, very homey and welcoming. I totally come here again ... in fact, I would come here many times. I'm doing my part in supporting local businesses, not just throughout Tracy, but also throughout the whole county. Also, doing my part and supporting local businesses that support the good cause, and not buying from cooperations that support the occupation. read more

If I could give more than five stars, I would! I stopped in for a blended white mocha and wow--hands down the best I've ever had. Perfectly creamy, not too sweet, with just the right balance of espresso and white chocolate, blended to perfection! You can tell they actually care about what they're making. The service and ambiance was great, super friendly, total mom and pops coffee shop. The barista was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly--made the whole experience even better. My drink came out quickly with a smile. If you're a Tracy local, you remember Java Makers and their legendary Polar Bears--this is the only drink I've had that even comes close! Total nostalgia in a cup with a fresh twist. This place is a gem. If you're a white mocha lover like me, don't sleep on this spot. Definitely my sweet treat yourself go to!! read more

Stopped in on a Saturday morning while waiting for the farmer's market to pickup some speed. I ordered an iced green tea and the soft egg avocado toast. Both were decent, but my toast took forever to come out - due to a kerfuffle between the owner/employee and a customer who was "bathing" in the bathroom. Unfortunately a police officer showed up to remedy the situation, but I waited about 20 minutes for a basic avocado toast I could've easily whipped up at home for a fraction of the cost. It was tasty, but pricey considering how difficult it was to eat (1 hard boiled egg cut in half instead of sliced?? Also no utensils and presented in a to-go box...) Since there are other great coffee shops in the area that are tried and true, I probably won't be back to this one :/ read more

It was my first time here, me and my boyfriend ordered two coffees and a blt. The cafe was pretty empty with only a few customers so we were expecting to be in and out. We received our coffees pretty fast but the sandwich took much longer than we expected, but we did not want to rush the staff so we waited patiently. After 10 minutes and others getting their food despite ordering after us we went up to check on our order. Unfortunately, we were told the sandwich had been sitting on the counter behind them the entire time. There was no apology or acknowledgement of the mistake, which was extremely disappointing. read more
