Vietnamese oatmilk Ube coffee

Been to their stall quite a number of times at the Mountain House Farmer's Market. They have a small selections of fruit teas and coffee. All pre-made so no substitution or modifications. Their fruit teas are delicious and unique but a bit too sweet for me. The Vietnamese coffees are also good but I sometimes like it as is and not with other flavors. Only because it then tastes even sweeter. Their boba is a bit on the soft, not very chewy side. And I believe it's the only topping they offer. Their service is very friendly. They will let you taste a sample before buying which is very helpful. Overall, not a bad place to get your tea/coffee fix. But, the menu is understandably small. While they do keep some favorites. Their menu does change every so often.

Sam and Kat have changed the drinks game for sure. I started off trying every rotating flavor of their kalamansi Arnold Palmer - strawberry pineapple, strawberry lychee, guava, mango passionfruit, etc. I was obsessed. My husband, dog, and I would walk to the Mountain House farmers market every Sunday just to buy one of their drinks. And then I made my way through their specialty cloud drinks. Omg. Not only are their flavors super unique, but I love that everything tastes fresh versus artificial like most places. My favorites are the turon, strawberry green tea with banana cloud, pistachio Thai tea, and anything ube. If you see Teapsy at a local event, definitely try something (or everything) on their menu. There are still so many flavors I need to get through, but I'm always so excited ordering something new.

I was then curious about the businesses in Mountain House since it's comparatively a new development, and I saw THub Cafe. Thinking it was just another boba cafe, seeing that it also has biryani made me want to visit asap. My mom was curious, too, so we drove out there after finishing our errands. We got the paneer biryani, which is considered a favorite, along with boba teas to take home. We also added samosas because why not? The biryani was pretty good! I don't know how made-to-order this is... I have a feeling it's made ahead of time, and either refrigerated or frozen, then reheated. But it's delicious nonetheless. The flavors are herbaceous and spicy. Note: if you're sensitive to spice, do not get this as even the mild version has a good kick. I also liked the texture of the paneer and the perfectly cooked rice. The samosas were fine. They're smaller than what you would normally get at a restaurant, but that didn't bother me since it came with four or five. Plus, it's a part of their snack options, so I expected them to be small. The dough was on the softer side, and the potatoes inside were fluffy and lightly seasoned. It actually helped subside the spiciness of the biryani. The boba teas were pretty good. I got a passion fruit one with 25% sugar and it was already too sweet for me. I think I'll opt for no sugar on drinks where that is customizable. The boba itself was chewy yet firm and had a subtle brown sugar flavor. Service was friendly. They made sure to check in on us regarding the biryani as that took awhile (but not like incredibly long). The space was clean with a good amount of seating. There isn't a lot of parking in the lot itself, but plenty of street parking as it's in a neighborhood. I would totally come back here if I was in the area for the biryani alone.

One food which was always consistent in the flavor profile is their shawarma.its a flavor bomb.Comes with fries which is also tossed with spices.so an amazing combo when you are hungry. I would recommend to order their Irani chai along with Shawarma which compliments the combo perfectly. This can be an amazing place to have a hearty chat / catching up with your friends over an amazing tea, if you are a tea lover. The only thing that would be really nice, if their other wrap which is chicken 65 would be as consistent as shawarma wrap. In the past it has been a hit or miss. I am going to try their other items as well, hoping to feel amazed, happy and satisfied.
