I want to rave about Michaela who works at this location. She is amazing, always extremely friendly, order is always right. And here is where she sets apart from the rest, you pull up to the menu to order and if you are a regular (yes, I may need an intervention - I work nearby and I go here a LOT!) she already knows your order before you say it. I just greet her and she's telling me my order haha. I love it! Thanks Michaela for the superb service. I hope the owner of your starbucks knows what an asset you are there!! Poor customer service!!! A couple of the staff members often ignore customers and come across as rude or uninterested, yet quickly become friendly and attentive when certain customers arrive. This behavior feels discriminatory and is upsetting, especially because it's clear they are capable of being warm and respectful. If another Starbucks were available, I'd go there instead. read more

They would walk past me and look at me but wouldn't ask if I needed something until I said excuse me. We came here for the 1st time on Saturday June 3rd. This place is brand new basically, and inside Mountain House's first outdoor strip mall ever. I'm happy for the residents that they have some places to go to now instead of having to drive to Tracy for everything. This place has a drive-thru also, and is tailor made for the employees inside. They should all be built like this for the baristas. It's huge working area from left to right so they're not stepping all over each other. My son has tackle football here now, so I'm sure we'll be back plenty of times going forward. Guaranteed this place will do well given all the residents here and it being the only shopping center in town. read more

Their cold brews are always a hit or miss, either they are rich or taste really acidic or so watered down it doesn't even taste like coffee. I've gone in multiple times for this issue and once was told by a barista that it really depends on who makes it... WHAT?! As a coffee enthusiast and barista myself I didn't say anything but I was baffled nonetheless. There are standards and measurements for all of this that should always be carried with consistency. This location takes forever and makes drinks inorrectly. I went and ordered 4 drinks through the drive through and ALL 4 were made wrong, they took so long preparing I didn't have enough time to ask for them to be corrected. This is a newish location but enough time has passed to the point they should have worked out all of their initial opening issues. That being said, the franchise owner and senior management needs to pull their head out of their butt and get their stuff together ASAP. The store hours are extremely inconsistent and counter to the posted business hours. Stop wasting customer's time by posting bogus business hours!! Also, the drive thru is frequently closed off. I was told it's because they're concerned with the wind blowing the signage/maximum height barrier. The same signage that is mounted on a rigid steel framing system that is bolted securely to the ground and the sign that is mounted to the the aforementioned metal frame via metal chain links... there is zero risk of it falling even with the stronger evening gusts. These systems and structures are engineered to meet building code requirements and regulations. The only valid concern with the drive thru is the possible Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) violation and impending disability claim from their employees from having to reach out of the poorly placed pass-through window. When they are open, the service is a bit slow but tolerable if you aren't in a crazy rush. The drinks are of average quality. The staff is always respectful so they earned a star. read more

I would give this store not good service I always order at the drive thru the barista who took my order have a really rude attitude. This Starbucks has to be the worse Starbucks I have ever been to consistently. We have been supporting them through their opening hoping that eventually they will find their groove. They have one good barista that works through the week. Every weekend the crew decimates orders. Fast forward to today. All of a sudden they have this standard on a shaken espresso that limits their ability to customize. It's a known fact that you can customize any drink at Starbucks. Ordered my drink through the mobile app and they refused to make it as ordered. They said the app charged me wrong. Without even telling me how I was charged or how to correct it so I can get my drink, they were stern with what they presented. Which was terrible customer service. Especially to a regular who has befriended and regularly attended Starbucks for years as most of us have. I asked if it was just their policy or a Starbucks wide policy. Mind you, it's a drink I order everyday and at multiple locations. They stated it's a Starbucks wide policy. Got my refund after some choice words and snarky retort from the barista and Manager. Me: Wow! I come here almost everyday and I can't believe you guys treat your customers this way. I can no longer support this location. Barista: Don't worry! We get plenty of customers Right! Because you belong to the name Starbucks! Definitely not because you guys demonstrate great customer service. How rude and also the Manager sat back and let that young woman handle me like that. I'm absolutely making a formal complaint. Walked across the lot to the other Starbucks and received my drink as ordered. With much sympathy from the Manager of that location. I absolutely love this location. After reading some reviews I am very fortunate to have had the opposite experience of many. I have received great customer service and my drinks have been made perfectly every time. This location is beautiful inside and always well kept. Yes, sometimes their coffee takes a bit and they're busy. But again they're new. Their efficiency of other established Starbucks will come. Have a little grace.
