This place is always packed, they've got a huge staff on Saturday mornings. They get a ton of business from the workout people next door. I've noticed a trend at Starbucks, and this location was no different. I ordered a drink and paid for extra shots, but after they filled my venti cup, they just tossed the extra shots away. I saw them do it, which means I didn't get what I paid for. When I asked about it, they told me it was my fault for not requesting a second cup to hold the extras instead of throwing them out. I paid extra for those shots, and instead of apologizing like I've seen in the past, they just gave me the runaround. I can't stress enough that I paid for this, and they didn't even give me the full amount of shots. So, I'm giving this experience a 0-star rating. I can't help but think that in previous visits, I might have missed them doing the same thing to me and probably to others too. I know it's not just one person's fault; it's likely a Starbucks policy. But that policy needs to change so customers get what they pay for instead of having it thrown away. Plus, the staff shouldn't blame the customer, saying it's their fault for not asking for a separate cup. I ordered through the app, which doesn't give you the option to request that. Zero stars for this experience, and there's no way to get my money back. I just hope they experience this themselves to realize they can't just take people's money like that. Giving this location the benefit of the doubt with 4 stars and will update my review after giving them another try on another day. My husband and I stopped in a little after 1:00PM on Saturday after grabbing some keto tacos down the way from Rubios for lunch. We ordered 2 x Grande Breve lattes. before ordering I asked if any of the holiday drinks were available as sugar free. They told me no (which was fine and the expected answer) and proceeded to say they were completely out of all of their holiday syrups. After paying for our drinks, we stood to the side and waiting for our order. Many people came and went prior to our names being called... we waited a little over 15 minutes for our coffees which felt like a lifetime in the moment. They handed us our HOT grande coffees in Vente cups without a sleeve. (I'm guessing they were out of grande cups) The cups were so hot I hardly hold them. When we asked they said they were out of sleeves so they have us a second cup to double up as a heat barrier. So long story short- our drinks were great once we finally got them. It just took awhile. This location has a drive through as well and I'm guessing the drive through had them slammed. They also seemed to be out of just about everything (except the free holiday plastic cups if you ordered a holiday drink which they had no syrup for that they were handing out at the register to some customers. Not us since we didn't order a holiday drink) I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with the assumption they were slammed with their holiday releases and we caught them at a bad hour. I'll update my review to more or less stars based on how my experience goes when I return. read more

I am usually not one to comment or leave a review on things, but this shocking mistake could have landed me in the hospital. I stopped by this location on Sunday to start off my road trip. I ordered a Trenta Black Iced Tea with CLASSIC syrup as a replacement for the liquid cane syrup they use. Instead, they put 12 pumps of CARAMEL in my tea. I am allergic to caramel and have never had it in my life before this day. I had an allergic reaction, but couldn't take medication because it makes me drowsy, and I have to drive for the next 7 hours. read more

This is one of the Starbucks that I almost always go whenever I'm in Tracy. The food and drinks here are the best and they serve them super quick. At the same time, their service is always positive, friendly, polite, and always in a good attitude, which is awesome. The ambiance can range from chill and light noise to very busy and loud. Even when it's at its busiest, I will still go here just because how fast they make the drinks and how precise they are at making customized drinks as well. I come to this location almost everyday, they're usually pretty slow when I go in but still take a long time to prepare my drink even when I mobile order, tonight I came in 15 minutes after I placed my mobile order thinking they'd be on the counter when I walk in, they were not, my app said "ready to go" so I just wait, the girl making drinks is preparing a drink but also talking to a friend maybe a co worker that was off shift I assume because she was in regular clothes on the opposite side of the counter than the employee. The employees name tag read "CeCe", she's just going on and on about needing to move out of her parents house, and while venting to her friend and making drinks she used a lot of poor language. 5 minutes passed the girl is still working on the same drink moving like a snail but keeping her friend entertained. I go up to the counter and show her my app says ready to go but I'm not seeing any drinks, she then says "yea I'm working on it" I say "so they're not ready yet even though my app says they're ready?" She says again with attitude "I'm working on it" at this point I ordered my drink 25 minutes prior. She then apologizes to her friend for being inconvenienced and said "sorry girl we're so busy tonight" There's no reason 2 drinks should take 25 minutes, if you're that busy save girl talk for after work and/or ask for help. read more

The employees at this Starbucks are beyond kind. My parents recently moved into the area. Aliah/Aliyah (forgive me if I spelled wrong) helped me order a great coffee and refreshers and gave excellent recommendations on places around town for my parents. She went above and beyond as an employee. I plan to return and order coffee anytime I visit my parents. I always use mobile order and I always tip. But, the orders are inconsistent in how they are made. Sometimes the cup is heavier as in it has the right amount of coffee and choice of creamer. Other times it is light as in mostly foam with little flavor or coffee. I'm tired of rewarding people for a bad cup if coffee. read more

The woman operating the food orders was incredibly friendly and asked everybody in line if they wanted a food item. She was ready and enthusiastic to help! I was in a little bit of a rush today so I ended up keeping the drink but it's the little things that mess it up. Was my go to. Every morning like clock work our family spends $25 a day at least. Yesterday I walk in and total was just under $20. I only had a $100 bill it was already after the daily rush but I was told they couldn't break the bill which is fing ridiculous. They said it's policy and they don't have big bills, didn't realize $20s were big bills. Spoke to managers and she reiterated the same BS asked for DM phones number and Called and spoke with Nicole who confirmed that was in fact false and they should have no problems giving change and she was going to call the store. So now instead of spending that $25 a day for the next 2 weeks I went and got 2 boxed of coffee pods and will save myself $300+. Good job starbucks, can't imagine with all the bad publicity you are already getting, that losing out on revenue from sales is something they can afford. It's located on the South end of Tracy, in the strip mall across from Raley's; next door to Subway, Chilaberries and Taqueria La Mexicana. It's like most of the Starbucks you've visited, but unlike other older ones, this location host both outdoor seating and men & women restrooms. An A+ in my book. I am giving a 1 star because I was a walk in customer whom ordered a brew coffee that took 20 minutes to be made due to baristas only working on the app orders. I kept asking if each drink put out was for me. The thing is my coffee was not even a specialty. It was a regularly brewed coffee that used to be the cashier would give you. My daughter had an experience yesterday as a walk in customer ordering a brew drink and it took 45 minutes for her to get her drink. I walked into Peet's inside of Raley's and got my drink right away and will do so when I want a coffee in future. Ignoring walk in customers is just bad business. I am done. read more
