Around 6pm Thursday March 13th 2025. very disappointed with my most recent experience at Winchester and ynez location right next to freeway. Salina refused to give me the restroom code before I ordered my drink and told me it's for paying customers only. she proceeded to tell me the guy Jon at the register could help me. i walk up cutting two people in line to ask Jon for the code because i have a chronic bladder issue that results in me peeing my pants unexpectedly. He gives me the code and followed the code with telling me it's for paying customers only. I used the restroom and then asked to speak to shift lead. This girl comes out looking like she wants to roll her eyes immediately. I explained I have been coming there for a few months and already morning shift lead and another barista knows me by name and my drink I always get. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER! im working door dash and had to use the restroom and wanted to do so before ordering to avoid possibly urinating myself in the lobby and subjecting other customers to that and save myself the embarrassment. This shift lead girl was rude the entire time talking about their policy.. sounds like discrimination to me ‍ I drove out of my way to go to this Starbucks as I like how I'm treated by morning staff. I figured this was a good location. But now I will no be coming back after being treated poorly and like a bum. The assumption that I was only there to use restroom is beyond disrespectful considering how much money I've spent not just with this store but with the company. Usually get coffee only at this location but decided to get a grilled cheese. Had one in the Lake Elsinore area (up the hill) near 15 freeway section. It was EXCELLENT there. At this Temecula section not so much. (1) missing ample cheese (2) Greasy. Also put my food on a wet counter and no concern when brought to employee attention. Not very busy inside or drive through. We came to this Starbucks thinking it was a different one. However, Amanda was amazing. She helped us out right away despite the confusion. She was very kind. This place is huge for a coffee shop. I wish I lived closer to return. There is plenty of seating. It also has a drive thru that you can actually hear the barista clearly out of. They are fast and accurate with orders. I'm officially giving up on this location. The people are extremely, almost overly bubbly, in the morning and this is the eighth time in a row they have gotten my coffee wrong (this is no exaggeration and amongst many other times the past year as well). Most of those times I have driven to another location to get it fixed. Sometimes I believe they don't pay attention when someone orders because even the stickers come out wrong half of the time. I truly believe I should not have to double check my order every time since I'm basically paying six dollars for a 12 ounce coffee. Again though people are nice I have also tried to go inside. This takes twice as long! Way to punish people that aren't lazy and want to go inside. This doesn't help the effectiveness of getting my drink correct either. I just don't understand. This Starbucks is conveniently located off the 15 freeway and has an awesome staff. I'm sure it gets super busy later in the day, but I've always been here early in the mornings when we're heading out. There is plenty of seating available and one of the larger Starbucks I've visited. The only thing that makes it less than 5 stars is the awkward parking lot which is not the easiest to get in and out. read more

Wow!!! Everytime I drive to San Diego and I want my famous peppermint mocha frappuccino * I stop here.. why?? Because it's the only Starbucks that gets it right!! Yesss!! I've only had good experience coming here: great customer service and orders are always correct and they hit the SPOT!! what spot?? My taste buds Spot!! Mmm.... my favorite Starbucks so far, and I've been to so many different ones and never have they got my peppermint mocha frapp correct.....ohhh, And let me tell you about the warm cheese danish: they don't only warm it up but they make sure its crispy and the cream is just perfectly brown on some spots...delicious!! Starbucks - Temecula (off Ynez/Winchester) This Starbucks has become one of my regulars stops when I'm heading back to Vegas from San Diego. This location is conveniently located right off Winchester and Ynez. This location is huge and if I lived in the area, I would probably hang out here. There's plenty of tables, outlets, and a large community table in the center. This Starbucks also offers wireless charging for your mobile device. The drive-thru is usually busy and it's not unusual for 10+ cars waiting to be served, even at night. Take my advice and either mobile order or go inside. Because this location is busy, don't expect a super clean Starbucks here. Sometimes the trash can is full, and the tables can use a scrub down. By the way, I love how it's always cold in here. Maybe not during the winter, but it's a huge plus during the summer. read more

I love the location. Super convenient. It's on my way to work and most of the staff are wonderful. There is just one lady that bothers me first thing in the morning. She is literally screaming at the intercom and it is way too much for me before my morning coffee. Even when I'm three or four cars away from the box I can hear everything she is screaming. She is super sweet, but she does take a little longer than other girls (always stops me from ordering my dream to tell me she's going to put the sandwich in the oven and then comes back ) and she is just way too loud for me. UPDATE: the guy who practically lives in the corner is still there every day. You can't sit within 4 feet of him without having to deal with a smell so bad that it burns the nose. The staff also has no problem with letting people take up multiple tables for just themselves. ie: One person using two tables for himself and his bag ------------------------------ Fantastic Starbucks. This place was a Carl's Jr. years ago, so there's lots and lots of space. They've recently remodeled the inside, so there are lots of seating available. The staff is always very friendly, and they make an attempt to learn their regular customers names. The drinks and food are great, what you would expect from any Starbucks. My one complaint is that because of their location next to the freeway, they have an unusually large number of transients who loiter there, taking up space and not purchasing anything. There is another customer who seems to always be there, sitting in the same spot every time. He isn't transient, and he does purchase drinks, but he spends so much time there, that when he isn't there, if you happen to sit where he normally sits, you can smell a faint whiff of B.O. that seems to have just permanently settled into the walls and seat. Aside from these very minor gripes, this is a really comfortable place to spend a couple hours or so relaxing with a good book, or getting some work done on a laptop, or just hanging with someone special on a little coffee read more

Ok so I went to this Starbucks on a Saturday around 1015 ish. The line wrapped around the parking lot, it was nuts. I used to work at Starbucks and I don't know what is different, but this location has the best espresso, it's so much stronger then any on town. I always get ristretto shots, which pull leas water so they are extra potent. Today the espresso was THE BEST. So strong, perfect for me. The line went quickly though the entire parking lot was jammed. The girl at the window, I didn't catch her name, was super friendly! She asked how my day was/plans were and talked to me while I waited for my drink. She was at the window at 1025/1030 ish SHES AWESOME! I didn't catch the Cashier's name but man oh man, was she pretentious. I usually get 5 shots of espresso with a "splash" of sweet cream. Like super super super Uber Uber Uber LIGHT. Just for color. Never ever ever have I been charged. She continues to charge me $.60 for the sweet cream. When I told her that I've been ordering his drink for 5 years and I've never been charged. I ordered a black tea latte. Blank stare. I repeated myself. Blank stare. Then the employee asks me what this drink is. I tell her it's black tea with milk and classic. Ummm, what black tea? Earl Grey or Royal English Breakfast Tea? I say that I would like the tea that replaced the Tazo Awake Tea. Blank stare. Ummmm, I'm new. Off she goes to ask someone in the back and comes back to tell me it's the English Breakfast. Okay. I would like a Venti Latte please, with only three pumps of classic. Blank stare. (At this point I am wondering...doesn't Starbuck's have an Earl Grey Latte? If I wanted an Earl Grey Latte I would have asked for one, so doesn't that leave the English Breakfast as the black tea?). I really, just wanted to walk out, but my husband wanted a decaf coffee, and since they don't have decaf at night we had to wait for a pour over. As I'm waiting with my husband I notice the girl at the register giving me the death glare. I looked over a short time later, and yep...she's still staring me down. They finally give me my latte and we left. The latte's are super hot when you get them, so we were all the way home when I was finally able to drink some. Guess what? They gave me the English Breakfast Tea and flavored it like the Earl Grey Latte which has vanilla syrup in it. There goes $4 down the drain. Someone else mentioned this store seems to be staffed with space cadet millennials, and I think that's a perfect description! I have to say that I have been to different Starbuck's where they aren't sure of what I am asking for and ask a fellow employee who enlightens them. This is not the issue here. The staff seemed very uninformed about which drinks were which, and thought it was okay to stare someone down. I'm used to going into a Starbuck's and having very friendly service, and this is the second time in a month that I have gotten poor service with employee's who don't know the menu. This is one of the newer Starbucks in the area. It used to be a Carls Jr. Its right next to the Frwy entrance, so the location is perfect to grab something before a comute. Its in the corner next to what I think is a Park N Ride as well. The inside looks nice and more spacious compared to some of the other Starbucks around. The last time I came here there was a very friendly employee working the drive-thru. I wish I had got her name,but cheers to you young lady. read more

Really cool Starbucks in a great location! Most Starbucks are pretty much a like, but this one definitely stands out. Located right before the 15 N on ramp and right next to the park and ride. Easy to get into and out of the parking lot too. Very smart and strategic job location placement Starbucks! Very smart. Waiting for your coffee? They have this really cool FREE WIRELESS PHONE CHARGING STATION! What?!?! Super cool and works really well. I tried it out even though my phone didn't need much charging just so I could try it out. I was surprised how great it worked out. Try it!! Free wifi and great for getting work on your computer done with a nice hot cup of coffee to keep you going. I honestly felt sad for the other Starbucks that closed due to this one opening up nearby. While I do feel bad for anyone who was affected by the move in a negative way I do like this new location a lot better. I find the parking less crazy and the inside is so much larger. Before I'd have to hawkishly wait for a table. Now I don't need to wait at all. The staff have been really nice and warm. Even when rushed. It's sorta a hassle that they have a restroom code but they are larger which means less wait. My only gripe? In the morning they make it so cold! It is hard to enjoy anything shivering for warmth. read more
