I've been here a few times, only through the drive thru, but I've never had a bad experience. They move pretty quick and the baristas are pleasant. I heard about the banana cream cold foam and had to try it on a matcha latte. I don't love their matcha but this drink was pretty good. A grande comes with 3 pumps of classic so I asked for 2 and got oat milk. Half of my cup was cold foam and it was delicious. This is not artificial banana flavor, it's basically just freeze dried banana powder whipped up. Love that it doesn't have to protein either. read more

This location is a joke. The service is absolutely TERRIBLE and they have no idea what they are doing here. Such a disgrace for being a Starbucks. I was once given a Nitro Cold Brew (preorder; online order ahead) showed up to pick it I'm and the guy with the poofy hair handed me a cup full of bubbles!!! Looks as if he had attempted to dispense cold brew into the cup and allowed himself to give out the drink basically empty! Trainers must be clueless, poor guy probably has no idea what he's doing there. Another separate occasion the same issue happened again. I walked in to ask for a quick remake or substitute and the guy with glasses gave me quite the attitude as a response. He says "that's how it is, what do you want?"....My friend, if you're reading this, you're a moron. First and foremost, that's the worst customer service ever and you will make Starbucks fail more than it already has been lately. Secondly, you should know if customers are ordering/drinking the same drink on a regular basis, they're going to absolutely know that you are wrong. You really think the customer doesn't know what their usual drink is supposed to taste like? After this kid admitted to the nitro cold brew being connected wrong, he then agreed to have his coworker make me a substitute. The red-haired pale skinned female "barista" was also the most rudest person I've ever had to encounter in years. She gave me the dirtiest look and asked what I wanted, I told her "4 shots of blonde espresso in a short cup please, thank you".... She proceeded to make the drink slamming the cup on the bar aggressively and started pulling the shots in a PLASTIC ICE CUP WITH NO ICE...are you kidding me!? I watched in disbelief as the shots pulled and started heating the plastic cup until I finally had to stop her and tell her "whoaaa sorry but I asked for a short 8 ounce hot cup not a tall 12 ounce ice plastic cup"...she poured the expired shots in a short cup and did not finish pulling the remaining two I asked for. This girl is the worst excuse for a barista I've ever encountered. WORST SERVICE EVER AT A STARBUCKS, if you are the manager or the district manager or even the regional manager reading this, fire these people. You, are what is ruining Starbucks and their reputation for "good service". These morons working at this location is a prime example of why the stock is going down and this company is going downhill. Great drive through coffee place with fast service, friendly staff, multiple selections, and ample parking. Drive through lines can get long, so it's better to go inside if you're in a rush. Not reviewing the coffee because all Starbucks coffee is the same no matter where you go - it's all good. The Staff: The staff here is great. When I got here this morning, there was a lady who wouldn't stop talking to the employee at the register (holding up the line). However, someone noticed this and helped me order an espresso today while the customer continued to talk to the other employee. I thought this was nice - and everyone was super happy and friendly to be around. This is one reason why Starbucks is great. The lines: If you go to the drive through, be prepared to wait. I go to this Starbucks regularly on my way to work. Today was the THIRD time my coffee tasted like cleaning solution. Yuck. Third time, within a few weeks. I don't know if it's a cleaning issue or negligence or bad intentions. The common denominator is the disgruntled employee, don't know her name, working there as part of the opening crew. I went back to get it remade and the other barista was nice but I see the girl from the morning and her other coworker looking over and smirking. Super sketchy. The Baristas were extremely busy I could see that they didn't even have time to breathe. I ordered a Chai Tea Latte and an Oat milk Cappuccino. After you pay, no one asks for your name or gives you a receipt. When the drinks are ready, they just place them on the table without calling out any names or announcing what was made. You end up waiting there until you feel it's been too long. When you go over and ask if the drinks on the table are yours, they even ask you what you ordered. Only after confirming do they tell you which one is yours. By that time, if your drink was iced, it has already turned into a cup of sugary water. read more

I typically come here for the drinks but recently decided to try the Egg White and Roasted Red Pepper Bites which were surprisingly delicious! They're vegetarian, high protein, and full of flavor. I'm probably going to order these every time now and definitely recommend trying them if you haven't already! I like the Chestnut Praline Frappuccino which has a caramelized chestnut flavor. When I'm not in the mood for coffee, I order the Iced Green Tea, Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade, or Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. Since I'm not a huge fan of really sweet drinks, my favorite is probably just the simple Iced Green Tea, which is really light flavored and refreshing. Oftentimes mornings can be unpredictable without coffee. Is Starbucks serving absurdly excellent coffee? No. Is it consistently fine? Yup. But this isn't all about them... I rolled up to the drive thru box and was immediately met by a calm soothing voice touched with hints of humor and a jovial subtlety of monotone sarcasm. I placed my order expecting a punch line or a humorous quip, and instead was met with precision repeating my order and summoning me to the window. Little one was craving a snickerdoodle hot chocolate so I decided I wanted to hit the drive thru on Tuesday 12/29 right before 3:30 PM. The line wasn't too bad and I figured it would be a quick simple order for that and cold brew. When I went to place the order the mail taking the order told me Starbucks hasn't had that item in awhile and made it sound like I was an idiot for asking. I placed my order for something else and pulled into the parking lot. I immediately pulled up the App and noticed while locations might not have the "actual menu named item" they still have the simple ingredients for it. In this case, white hot chocolate and add the cinnamon dolce to it. Pretty damn easy!!! Not only did their lazy approach turn me off but they made both drinks I ordered wrong. I went up the street to the Lawrence drive thru and explained what happened and asked if they could make it for me and they did. They didn't even charge for it!!! That is great service and something I didn't expect as it wasn't the same franchise location. If you do come to this location, do so in the early morning. I didn't realize there was another drive-thru Starbucks so close by to the one I usually go to. I decided to drive by this morning on a drink run. I drove up and there was several cars already in line. I had to make a circle to get in line with the rest of the cars (probably not easy to do if the parking lot was full and there was no SIP). I saw customers walking in and out of the Starbucks with their coffee orders. It seems like they are allowing customers to make their orders inside at this location. The line moved at a good speed. I got up to the microphone and was greeted right away by a welcoming voice. I placed my order (iced chai, hot chocolate) and drove up to pay. The cashier handed me my drinks and was busy taking the order of another customer through her headset. My drinks tasted good. The service was good. The speed of ordering and getting your drinks was good. It's a clean updated Starbucks on the outside. I can see the parking lot being hard to maneuver if it's really busy with cars in a drive thru line and cars trying to reverse to get out. Overall, efficient location. read more

I came to this store today (drive thru) and ordered a black iced tea and a sweet cream cold brew. I got to the window and they handed me the cold brew first and it had 0 ice in it. Bizarre! I honestly laughed because I asked if it's supposed to have ice in it and the girl was like "yeah they must have forgot" and proceeded to hand it to me. Why hand it to me if it's wrong? The drink was for my friend and he said it doesn't even taste right-- there was no sweet cream. She said, "well want some ice? I can't take the drink back". She gave us ice and then asked for the drink back... we got it remade. My issue isn't really the drink but more so how rude she was and another girl behind her were. Both looking at us through the window just tossing out dirty crusty looks. I was there Mar 28, 2:13pm hopefully management helps. If my friend wasn't with me, I would have chewed them out. Man I don't know. I've had some good results here-decent spot, great coffee, reasonable service and overall I'm pretty happy with it-see my earlier over detailed review-yet I get some of the complaints about the place. Take today for example. Two hours after opening four staff at work and the outside trash bin is overflowing, one bathroom is blocked off-with all the trashcans that are supposed to be in the elsewhere in the store including the remaining bathroom. Probably a reason for that, but not having trashcans in the lobby or the one bathroom that is open isn't a good idea. What would be a good idea is a piece of paper taped up sayin "out of order" along with the mop bucket (which is part of the barricade-behind all the trashcans). Also all the umbrellas for the outside seating are piled up in front of the order counter-right at the spot where you stand to pay no less-and are the subject of a power struggle. Something like this : " go put up the umbrellas, that's not my job, it's raining, that's the opener's job" etc meanwhile the umbrellas just lay there on the floor tripping people up and blocking the cashier. So while they open early, and are johnny on the spot with coffee they just don't quite have it all together sometimes. Hence the three stars. read more

I normally go to the one on down the street from this one off Lawrence but today I choose the one off poplar as I saw nobody in the drive thru. I wanted to purchase a couple Starbucks cups for my daughters teach along with gift cards to show appreciate for what they have done with my daughter. I asked if they had them and the young lady said yes but I had to come inside for those. I explained I had my dog and my 2 kids with me. She replied that I could bring my kids inside(not even the dog) lol like I know I can bring my kids inside thanks... I told her my toddler was sleeping and I would be quick if she could show me a couple. She said she couldn't because something about the drive thru time..mind you nobody was in front of behind at this time. I said thank you and left to the Lawrence location where I was able to buy 2 cups and $50 worth of gift cards. I probably had Starbucks in every neighborhood available in the Bay Area, but this one is one of my favorites! Fastest drive thru Starbucks! They get 5 stars in my book. I'm usually in a hurry and the wait is never longer than 5 minutes. Their customer service is great. I always end up getting a caramel frappe or a white chocolate mocha and is always great. I look forward to coming here more and I'm glad I live 5 minutes away. Only issue I ever have is reminding them for whoop cream lol sometimes I get a dry Starbucks with no whoop cream! read more
