Worst Starbucks ! Always claim g drive through, poor drinks, and glitches with systems!!

Stopped in this evening to pick up a travel carafe and was not greeted for a full minute even though I was the only person at the counter. I noticed the two women had a bit of a banter going and then realized one (Alex?) was actually being genuinely mean to the other. It was really unsettling to see someone being bullied at work in front of a customer. It's a stressful job to begin with and to add verbal abuse on top of that...! I hope Alex gets put in her place and I didn't catch the name of the other barista but girl, hang in there, you've got better things ahead of you. Don't let her slow you down. I used to like this Starbucks since it has a drive-thru (awesome for us lazy people!), but I feel like the service has been getting slower and slower. On my most recent trip (Sunday morning around 10:45am), I placed two orders at the drive-thru line. They got my size wrong for my first order (tried to give me a Grande vs. Venti), then completely missed on my second order (Venti Pike's Place). We barely got an apology, and what was worse, the kids working the drive thru window were having an entire conversation with their buddy who was in the line! It sounded like an off duty colleague from what I heard of the conversation (which was basically the entire thing since the window was open)- totally unprofessional! They need to have a manager on duty to watch over these kids and explains how behavior like this is not good customer service. To top off my experience, one of my cups had caramel sauce on the side that they didn't bother to wipe off! I'll give this location another chance but I really hope they shape up their staff soon. read more

I live closer to a walk-in Starbucks but drove to a drive-thru Starbucks yesterday because I didn't feel like getting out of my car; I felt lazy. I ordered an iced coffee with cream and sugar and drove up to the window. Blake, the guy who took my order, repeated my order as he took my card and repeated the order again as he handed me my drink. As I drive away, I realize my order was incorrect; there was no sugar in my coffee. Ugh. I had to park and go back inside to fix my drink. The purpose of a drive-thru is for someone who wants to be in & out quick and for people like me, who are lazy and don't want to go inside. I was livid. Yes, over coffee. This is the third incident where this location forgets to add cream and/or sugar in my coffee--- the most basic drink! The part that gets to me the most is the guy is repeating my order or asking me what type of sweetener i'd like in my coffee.... and I end up getting none! I am a drive-thru person. Especially when I have Chewy with me. Chewy is my small Yorkie. Many Starbucks locations are not dog friendly. They would not let me bring my dog, who is enclosed in this bag, into the store to buy a cup of coffee before sitting outside. To me this is very strange since there is no way to order a drink outside unless you are using the drive-thru. So now you know why I am a drive-thru type of person. This is my favorite Starbucks location! I really want to say, "The drive-thru sucks, the location is messy and the staff is terrible." However, I cannot lie to keep people away from my favorite Starbucks. I love this location. The staff is very very friendly and the drive-thru line moves very fast. I have visited the drive-thru a few blocks down at Lawrence to only find rude staff and long slow moving lines inside and especially at the drive-thru. If you like Starbucks, want a friendly staffer taking and making your order, and you want to avoid ridiculously slow moving lines go to THIS location. read more

This Starbucks has the worst parking, and always a 30min, drive-thru wait time. I ordered a Gluten free breakfast sandwich and a blueberry oatmeal (dry- no water). The worker stopped to check if they had the food in stock, he said they did. Upon driving up to the window, a female worker said that they don't have the breakfast sandwich in stock, even though her coworker told me otherwise. So I had to order something different that I didn't even want. They made me wait 10min for my oatmeal, so I asked her "why is my DRY oatmeal taking so long"? She just kept saying sorry. It FINALLY comes... and there is water in it!! So I had to continue waiting until they could bring me a new one. I drove home and saw that they didn't even give me the nuts or blueberries that come with the oatmeal! Horrible service! Never again read more

This Starbucks is on top of it. They make the drinks in a timely fashion, while maintaining a professional demeanor. In the extremely rare occurrence that the drink wasn't made quite to my liking, they immediately remedy it. Good stuff. read more

I've been to this location several times since it's extremely convenient having a drive thru. However, the drinks are always hit or miss. Yesterday, I ordered two refreshers, two frappucinos and ALL drinks tasted like they poured extra sweetener in them. I order the same drinks over and over at multiple locations and this location seems to be the only one that I have experienced EXTRA sweet drinks. This is the newest Starbucks in the area. I wish I still live 2 minutes' walk from here :) In general, I like Peet's beverages more than Starbucks, but I really like Starbucks' instant iced coffee (Starbucks VIA ready brew Iced Coffee). It is the perfect morning pick-me-up on summer backpacking trips. No need to boil water, just add some freshly filtered icy alpine water and viola!! The Iced Coffee is not very strong (so the dosage may not be enough for coffee addicts), and it is very lightly sweetened that even I need to add sugar to it. It comes in a box of five packs and each pack makes a large 16 fl oz Iced Coffee. read more

I've very rarely had bad experiences with Starbucks but wow. The guy working there was either high or stupid (I'm guessing high). He didn't know what Madeline's were when I tired to order despite them being sold at Starbucks since before he was born. When I finally received my order, my hot drink was iced, my Madeline's were stale and crumbled (and chocolate when I requested plain), and I was charged for a venti despite getting a grande, and he wouldn't refund me because he didn't know how. this is my favorite Starbucks in the South Bay area and a regular stop just about every day, going inside for service. folks are quick with a friendly greeting has a nice atmosphere........ went in today and Karla proudly showed me their new espresso machine; apparently they are first place in the area to get this new equipment. I have always had bad experience with this starbucks. Never faced such a consistent bad service in any other place. There are lot of starbucks around. Ignore this one and go somewhere else. 1) Order a Chai Latte from drive through. After 5 mins of drive, realized its a Mocha. 2) Ordered a Oatmeal and Butter Croissant from drive through. After 15 mins of drive, realized the packet did not have the butter croissant. 3) Ordered a Blueberry oatmeal from drive through. Opened the packet after 5 mins, to find a semi rotten, 1-day to expire, inedible blueberries. read more

The staff and the service here SUCK! The past 4 times I've ordered a Passion Iced Tea (and specifically asked them to shake it) they still didn't. After working for the company for 3 years, i know (and could tell) the difference in taste if they shake it or not. Not once have I ordered a tea there & they shook it. The one time they did actually semi-shake the tea.. the employee just dumped it in a cup and transferred it back to the original cup. So damn lazy. Also, they put their patio furniture away by 8pm when they close at 10, so no customers can sit outside. ALSO, during one recent visit, I was waiting inside for my drink and heard the store phone ring. Two girls that were working were bickering back and forth saying "don't pick up the phone, all they're gonna ask is what time we close..if they do, tell them we close at 9!" (it was 8:40p at the time). How the hell do you expect to get/keep business with employees like that!? read more

When I run my errands and there's just this one las caffeine buzz that I just have to grab, this is the store that I am most likely to stop by. So far. SO FAR, I have not had no parking concerns as most people would somehow prefer to drive-thru OR go to the next store by Mathilda and El Camino... I am not complaining ! The staff at this store ... Friendly and in no rush. They recognize me - most probably because of my drink ("here come Trenta Lady") and because I walk in instead of drive-thru. Blake the barista is very diplomatic. The rest of the crew is also awesome. Night or day, I like coming here. Just be careful exiting the parking and entering to the road as some traffic may be very fast (El Camino) and vehicle may be pulling up from the drive-thru which can be your blind spot ! read more

I like this Starbucks because it has a drive thru, which makes fueling my coffee & caffeine addiction even easier! The line can get long here, but that's not unusual in the mornings and the staff keeps things moving. Everyone I've encountered here is very friendly and the drinks are good. This location is a lot easier to get in and out of compared to the location on El Camino Real/Lawrence Expwy where you have to weave through a busy parking lot and wait to get out. Love the drive thru and I wish more Starbucks in the area had them! read more

I used to love this Starbucks. Not only because it's a block away from home but Because of the friendly staff each morning in the drive thru. Oh how that has changed once they put Misty in the drive thru. Now all I get is messy cups and a monotone voice. No enthusiasm at all. I don't have bad feelings towards Starbucks, so this one would appear to be great but . . . . I find it a 'cold' location. Perhaps it's the set up of chairs, the layout of the place, an odd open feeling - whatever it is I don't find it comfortable. As a girl who spends a lot of time on her laptop at coffee shops I'm pretty flexible but I wouldn't hang out here. The banana nut bread was fresh and sweet though, surprisingly good since I find most Starbucks food too dry. The counter cashier girl was quick and sweet to greet me, was nice and overall quite attentive. But you have to pay for wireless, which I hate. I firmly believe with all the money Starbucks makes, they could chip in for free wireless. Minus one star just for that! read more

Came here 15 minutes before work to grab a quick iced coffee since those are so quick to make ( I use to be a barista before becoming a server). I waited behind an older gentlemen before the girl at the register took my order and he got his hot coffee togo super quick. The girl took my order and I was expecting my drink to be made quick as well. It ended up in line of cups on the counter though. I waited for about 3 minutes and realized that no one has even touched my cup. I wanted to go up to the counter to ask for my coffee but the girl was busy at the moment. She was helping 3 guys that came in who looked like regulars. After another minute or two of waiting, one of the three guys got their drinks already. WTF! His drink looked like some sort of iced latte and I didn't get why he got his drink way faster than mine. It is because he comes here more often and gets special treatment? After waiting for more than 5 minutes I asked the girl if I could get my iced coffee already. I may sound like a bitch for this but, how long should it take a person to put two pumps of simply syrup in a cup along with ice and coffee in a cup? If you can pour a hot cup of coffee for someone in less than 10 seconds, an iced coffee shouldn't take that long. I quickly stirred some milk in my cup and left running to my car and then speeding off to work with only about 5 minutes left. Bleh, I'll just stick to the K-bucks on Lawrence instead. read more

This Starbucks is wonderful! We have had a lot of meetings here, and will continue to do so. It's a great place to get down to business without feeling pressured to keep buying drinks just to sit there. You can sit outside if you want! The drive-thru is nice too! As always, the hot chocolate here sucks, but that's a characteristic of all Starbucks, and I'm reviewing this location for its all-around likeability. I actually never went inside of this Starbucks yet only the drive thru, the drive thru is USALLY very fast especially when they first opened but as time went on it become a little slower it took about 20 minutes for my drink to be ready. All of the employees are very kind only thing I have to complain on is of how small it is for the entrance of the drive thru really cramped but other then that it's a pretty good Starbucks. read more

I did like the confirmation LED display since it takes like three different languages to order a drink at the Bucks and it my co-worker kept botching my order. I love a good dense foam in my drinks.... its a hit or miss here -sometimes I get a barista that aerates the milk perfectly, other times (most the time), its just bubbles, and not dense foam at all. ... *sad face. Much better than typical location with nice furniture. Always crowded with tourists and students. Staff is very friendly. I feel ashamed going here living in Amsterdam buts it's right down the street and one of the few places I can get a coffee for take-away easily. I'm weaning myself off of it... I ordered a cinnamon almond milk macchiato with sugar free syrup because of my dietary restrictions. They made me a drink that's not sugar free. I had to ask the barista to make a new one. The second one came with regular milk instead of almond milk. I had literally left the store already and had to go back. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER STARBUCKS! Theres about 2 to 3 tables on the outdoor patio. They close at 10pm.. so if you want coffee past that hour, go down to Lawrence Expressway! This has been my go-to Starbucks for years but in the last few months they have just gone down hill. When you pay over $5 for a drink that is missing half of the ingredients (like no vanilla in your vanilla latte), it gets frustrating. It happens so often these days that I refuse to buy from them anymore. I bought 3 drinks for friends and everyone of us threw our drinks away. The drive through is also a bit of a nightmare these days. I was the only car in line and it still took nearly 20 minutes and at the end of that, I got a vague "sorry about the wait" comment from the guy at the window. The parking lot is a pain if anyone is in line for the drive through. There's another drive through just up the street a few blocks so pass this one and go to the next! read more

Really, what is there to say? It's a Starbucks. LOL I prefer this location to the Lawrence/El Camino location 9 times out of 10 because it's less busy, easier to get in and out of, and it's less busy. LOL The only downside is because it's less busy than the other location down the street, they stock smaller amounts of pastries and have shorter hours. read more

I love this location! They have a drive thru and are so very nice! There is a much busier yet much less friendly Starbucks on the corner of el camino and Lawrence, but this one is WAY cleaner, WAY friendlier and WAY more accomodating. This Starbucks has never told me no, I can't get a pour over in drive thru or in the store like the other location. One time, they even let me call in my order and pick it up in drive thru. How handy is that? All the guys that work there are really nice and tonight Chris was no exception. They always remember what we order, my other half has a bit of a complicated order, yet they never forget it. So worth it to go the extra couple blocks to this location. read more

This is the worse Starbucks ever!!! When we first started going they would make the drinks great but now they always give us the wrong drinks and they are flavorless. Also, they forget to give you your card back and I've had to go back several times. You, however, have been good to me, I love you too THIS Starbucks is obviously kinda new, the staff here have so far been EXTREMELY helpful and nice. I only use drive-thru here and everytime I've gone, the customer service has been top notch. They even offer FREE pastries sometimes if they have leftovers from the morning (that earned the fifth star). The drive thru helpers are always happy and put a smile on.
