Over the past few months the redheaded manager has started to turn things around at this local Starbucks. He is setting an example for friendliness and professionalism that I haven't seen there before. I think he works mornings because I don't see him in the afternoons. Still some troublesome employees that occasionally make encounters at this local Starbucks less than ideal, but things are improving. read more

The new Starbucks on El Camino makes me happy, especially since I can walk to it in under 5 minutes. Most of the workers are pretty nice, and seem friendly. As far as the drinks they have yet to make a mistake, although the other day I ordered a drink and forgot to give them a size, and they didn't ask. None-the-less I am overall thrilled to have this place a stones throw away from my house. I haven't used the drive though yet, but I will for sure try it soon. I am a little sad that this place is not a weinerschnizel anymore since I use to get ice cream there late at night, but coffee does the trick to most of the time. read more

This location is my jam. All the morning crew are friendly as hell and they actually seem to enjoy their jobs. Ample seating and they don't share a parking lot with anyone else, although it can be a bit hairy if the drive thru line is long. Generally the place quiets down after the morning rush so it's not super busy and hectic. read more

The staff here were nice and they greeted everyone when they came in. They were pretty quick with making drinks and food, even though it was pretty busy with in-store customers and the drive-thru. They have a private parking lot, which during busy drive-thru hours is really difficult to navigate if you are entering the store. The trees and landscaping isn't kept up well so there were 5 parking spots unusable due to fallen branches and whatnot. read more

I usually go through the drive thru but two days ago the line was just too long. So I went into the store just to get a already brewed cup of coffee because I was in a bit of a hurry. OMG... what an eye opener. The inside of the store was filthy. Disgustingly filthy, even where the creamer, sugar items go. I really am hesitant to return to this Starbucks. The staff in there are rude, don't acknowledge their customers, not even with eye contact. That's not the reason I'm not returning. I really question the sanitation of the location. Still 1 star... I would downgrade if I could. When I order a standard drink I expect it to be consistent from a franchise like Starbucks. That's what I pray the premium. I should of just stuck to my guns.... I ordered an Americano ... very basic drink... and these employees here this Sunday morning still messed it up. I guess I won't be spending any of my hard earned money at Starbucks in 2019. I've been here a few times as this is right next to one of my client's houses. The staff were kind of hit and miss - one time the barista was kind of rude and not listing so well but another time my barista was super nice. That's humans for ya. I don't really like going to Starbucks because its usually SUPER crowded but I really like this one! Its not so crowded and the staff are amazingly friendly. The drinks taste the same as that of the other starbucks (duh) and the music is always comforting. They even have a drive thru which is convienient. I guess the only downside is that the parking lot is rather small, but i think its the right amount for the customers that are capable of being IN the building. lol. Ample parking but not enough real estate so that you can pick a place to plop down and relax with a nice cool frap. Sometimes I get these deals and its a hit an miss because of weird rules that other starbucks don't seem to have a problem with. The parking lot is small and gets crowded when the drive thru is busy. But, the drive thru moves fairly quickly and the drive thru attendants seem to always be pleasant. Even at 6 AM. My drinks have always been made correctly. Good spot to hit when in the area for a much needed caffeine fix. read more

Going downhill. When this location 1st opened it was a significant improvement on the major Starbucks down the road. However service is now getting worse, drinks are inconsistent, and the time a drink is served varies a lot both for in store and drive through. It's a Starbucks so I have no complaints about the drinks. But I feel I have to warn all my Yelp friends about two things: No Wifi outside. They blame AT&T, but come on... Lack of tables outside. This is the Starbucks I usually go to when I need to do work. I can almost always find a table, it's quiet, and the baristas are above average (probably because they get a huge amount of traffic from the drive-thru). Friendly service, well-made drinks, and top notch wifi make this my go-to coffee place. read more

While I still love this particular location, it seems the staff are not as happy to be there as they used to be. There used to be a lot of banter and laughter between the baristas and customers but that is no longer the case. They always seem preoccupied and subdued lately and I miss coming in and joking with them. On the up-side, however, they ALWAYS get my drink right, no matter what I choose. Workers here are super friendly! It seems like they enjoy working here. The drive thru is always packed! This place is always crackin late at night. It's a place for everyone! But not much for kids...Now that I think about it, I don't remember seeing kids here...or maybe it's because I come really late at night..yeah that explains it lol. I love the fact that it has a study room! If you need to study, read, or work on a project quietly, go into the study room. Make sure not to talk in there though...you'll get some stares...haha yeah, been there done that. Just remember that some days like esp the finals week, this place gets PAAACKKKED. Every time I have gone here lately, they have under-filled my vent drink by 2 inches...very disappointing. I have no idea why they do this. Also, being diabetic, it is imperative that my order is correct as I have specific amounts of milk to syrup that I need to have. This starbucks is the only one that infers changes to what I order, which is scary and could have caused me serious problems with my insulin last time had I not noticed their error in time. I doubt I will continue going to this starbucks since they have now gotten it very very wrong twice in a row; very disappointing since this is a very convenient drive-thru. read more

Excellent customer service. They always get my order right, are fast, and consistently nice.

I have experience the service both inside and outside. The drive-thru located outside is kind of a hit or miss. Two out of three times my drink will take much longer than necessary, and be missing something I ordered it with. (Nonfat milk, no foam, extra caramel, etc.) However there is a cute boy that takes my order, and he seems to be the only one that can promptly give me my drink. I went yesterday, and lo and behold, he was there, and managed to take a little longer than normal getting me my drink. Another boy rushed up and started asking questions, "what are we waiting on, whats going on?" seeming to make the rest of the staff more frantic. They got me my Artisan Bacon sandwich, (they were out of ham late at night, which is fine) and then took longer on the drinks, which weren't complicated. They didn't mark which one was non fat however, but remembered it by memory so nothing disastrous occurred, but I am a little taken aback by their lack of organization. The 2nd boy who rushed up had no idea what was going on but tried to be the front man and send me off without my sandwhich. If they were a little more organized, maybe have a drive thru blender area aside from the inside Starbucks (which runs fine, the staff also seems a little disgruntled late at night, so not a cheery customer service experience, but nothing to complain about,) so that they aren't fighting/lagging over drinks. I really like that the inside of that particular Starbucks hosts some Deaf Events, and stays open very late to let everyone... "chat." read more

I walked in here today and instantly felt at ease. Laughter boomed from the employees: a spectacle for my eyes and ears to experience. They really seemed to be enjoying their job, making my less than perfect day instantly seem better. Oh and they made my drink perfectly. Would you like racism with that? This store was fine until they changed the staff on the drive thru. There is a blond girl with a bad attitude problem who likes to provide an extra serving of racism. Neither myself nor my wife are American, and on separate occasions she has imitated our accents while we've ordered at the drive through. She also has an unbelievable attitude problem once customers finally make it to the window. I complained to the manager about the service I received. He took all of my details and promised to follow up... which he never did. I live right beside this place but prefer to drive an extra mile down the road where I'm not worried about being made fun of as a foreigner. read more

In addition to cultural training, Starbucks should give their staff basic customer courtesy training. And give them an adult supervisor. At 4:50 today, there were two baristas, a guy and a girl. They were wearing headphones for the drive-through, but the entire time I was in there they were each on the phone chatting with friends. They would occasionally click over to take an order, then click back and continue their conversation. It was difficult to even make eye contact to get their attention. God forbid you had a question, like, "what is this coffee" on the counter. There was someone else working there. Sweet....finally we have another Starbucks drive though other than the jam-packed one at Lawrence. Good location for me in that it's close to home and sort of on the way to work. The drive through is so convenient. Line does get long, but worth it if you don't want to get out of the car.

By far the slowest Starbucks at filling out mobile orders. They average at 10-15 minutes to fill out a mobile order. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Usually I don't feel like writing reviews for food or coffe chains but this being so close to my house that it deserves a review. I am addicted to coffe/tea in the morning. Usually i make masala chai 'indian style' at home everyday, without that my day doesn't start BUT if sometimes if i am out of milk or sugar or tea for that matter, i don't have to worry about. WHY? because this starbucks is not even 0.1 mile away . ALL i have to do is get down and get my drink, yes "extra hot mocha with no wipe" it is :) read more

The staff needs to improve on their customer service!! I have been a regular Gold reward customer and been at this store many times. Then suddenly today one staff refuses to give me refills after I just finished an espresso which bought there 10minutes ago. He said I had to get coffee beverage to be eligible to refill coffee, even if I showed him the website policy stating any beverage is ok for a refill on coffee/tea. He even insisted that the other staffs who gave me refills before shouldn't do the refill and they need to be punished. And he even asked his manager to cover him and stand at his side to confirm this is the store policy. However a call with customer service confirmed the policy on Starbucks' website, any beverage qualifies for a refill on iced/hot coffee/tea. Very Disappointing customer service! read more
