This is a smaller Peet's location. They only have a few tables inside and a high top bar seating area by the window. Wish there was more room to sit down and relax or chat with a group. The drinks are great and I also got the turkey bacon and egg white sandwich which was tasty and I would definitely get it again. The parking lot and shopping center is a bit run down, however there is a lot of parking spots and it's easy to get in/out of the lot. read more

Been to this Peet's multiple times in the past couple of weeks and have had a good experience each time. I actually would stay here for over 9 hours (!) each time and they've been pretty good about it. Coffee is good, food seems good but I haven't tried it yet. Staff is friendly and attentive, and seems pretty talkative. The place opens early at 5:30 AM which is a big plus for me. The area seems to attract some homeless though, so I remember one time the bathroom was occupied for a long time, and a little girl was knocking outside wondering if the person inside was OK. Overall, good experience every time. Other than that - there often seems to often be some people having some pretty serious conversations (interviews, etc.) here. read more

I used to be confused about why people like Peets. The Peet's I've had before were...not good at all, even if it's free. This location, however, had not disappointed me yet. I've been here 3 times so far and I liked all the drinks I've got. Baristas do make a hugeeeeee difference despite them sharing same recipe and ingredients across the brand. I've only recently realized the huge difference between Peet's stores when my brother ordered 3 drinks from a different location and they were all butchered. I have no idea how they messed up frappes and managed to make 3 different drink orders taste like the same flavor. That experience made me appreciate this Peet's a lot more...hence, this review Peet's coffee is definitely more strong (in terms of caffeine) compared to other cafes. I could order a small and it gave me energy for the whole day. Their iced lavender vanilla latte tastes pretty good with oat milk too even tho their default is almond milk. It can be nice to sit at the bar/counter seating by this window and watch traffic go by. They have a nice selection of drinks and offer non-dairy options. The only thing I don't like is the parking lot. There is plenty of parking, but the design of the parking lot makes it difficult to maneuver. read more

Came here on a Saturday as two of my friends had drastically different views on Peets and I wanted to try it for myself to form my own opinion. I got the Matcha Frappe, which I found to be far better than the one from Starbucks. The matcha they use is much stronger, allowing you to actually taste the matcha, and the atmosphere is also good for doing work. Baristas are friendly and service was decent. There were four customers in the restaurant and four employees but the restaurant still messy, would be nice to see them pick things up a bit. I asked for a small cappuccino for here when I placed my order, and when it came up was in a cup to go. I said I ordered it For here and she said we don't do mugs here. That would've been nice to know when I ordered. When I tasted the cappuccino, it certainly wasn't up to Peet's standards- just a couple shots of espresso and an entire cup of foam. I really love this location! They always get my drink tasting perfect! It's a simple drink - iced decaf latte with a splash of heavy cream. The employees are always nice and friendly. When I do come in, there are always a few people waiting for their orders. I have waited usually around 5 minutes for my order. The store and clean and well stocked. There is plenty of parking. This is a good little coffee shop to stop by. Most of the staff were very pleasant. Did have experience with one who was making the coffee at the time. My friend had her mask on but it had dropped below nose. In the effort to find our product , the individual quickly yelled to fix the mask. We take this situation of COVID very serious , but how you speak to customers says a lot. We still will provide 3 stars as the cashier was great and even told us about a free coffee offer with our purchase. We will look for other coffee shops in the area , specific to this situation. An ok coffee place The inside is pretty small, but there is a lot of outdoor seats. The serve staff are especially friendly and nice, and they actually ask you to fill out their survey so it's clear they really care about the service here. The drinks come pretty quick. Came by for coffee and it was decent. Parking was plentiful in the private lot and there was plenty of seating outdoors. Service was friendly by the staff. Disclaimer: this review is based on their special Free any size drink promotion event to launch their summer drinks. I've come here every now and then to work in Mountain View and it's always been fine. So I want to preface this review to give some feedback on these large promotional events. First of all, props to Peet's for their generosity and giving FREE drinks. I commend them for that. Second, there needs to be some improvement on their system and crowd management so that it gives the customers a better system. I came here at 1:30pm and the promotion was from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, so it's towards the beginning of the time. Already there was a line and a lady in front of me asked the barista at the door if the line goes quickly, she said yes. But that needed some clarification, because the order line goes quickly, but the waiting for the drinks to be made takes much, much longer! It's fair to give customers the right expectations so they can make a decision to wait or not. I did not have a problem, since I was already planning on working there anyway, so I didn't have another place to be. But there were plenty of people in front of me who had to get back to work or had an appointment to go, so they had to abandon their drinks. (*I ended up waiting 45 mins for my Mojito Black Tie cold brew drink). For these types of promotional events, the management should have a system of crowd control, like have people take a number and give a certain range of time that it would take, so if they need to go and come back, they can. Also, use a microphone or some sort of speaker or a display that would help identify which order is ready, those poor baristas had to yell out the names and it is really difficult to hear. Third, there should be extra help for these events and they should be paid more. They are all hustling and working non-stop for those hours. The intention of this review is for feedback for improvement. I hope management will heed the advice and make adjustments to help make it more efficient and enjoyable experience for everyone. Amazing place and friendly service. Especially for coffee craving morning person, this is a place to go. Their outdoor sitting (safe and socially distancing) is phenomenal amid this COVID-19 crisis. I have to admit, this is really convenient location with ambience even outside in the patio with enough shade from trees and shades. I was struggling to find a place where I could work on laptop while sipping coffee. And with virtually every coffee place doesn't allow any indoor dining, this coffee shop is much relieving.
