First, it's just a couple of days into September. Still Summer and they do not have summer drinks they said. All except for 1! Because they had all the others. Until we got to the window where they said they didn't have dragon fruit. They tried to make it up with strawberries, but they lack of ay other flavour. So I ended up paying strawberries on water with a spoon of coconut milk. Line was various minutes lint. So no, I wouldn't recommend them at all. read more

Creepy. When you look at the way the workers interact with the drive-thru customers and then you get sort of that buzzing behind your ears, you wonder whether this place is actually a place where you want to read a book or plug in a laptop. Then you start to notice the way it smells and people start trying to keep customers from looking at the refrigerators. Then you start to notice people pointing at others outside. I normally don't write reviews, but I work customer service and that being said: trust me, I know all too well about being short staffed and lines that never seem to end, customers being complete jerks, etc... BUT.... I called this Starbucks at 2pm on Friday 1/21 to inquire about the travelers for big parties, as I wanted to order three for my workplace later that evening. I was given good information and the guy I spoke to said "if you can just please give us a half hour to 45 mins before pick up..." I said no problem, I was wanting to pick up right around closing (8pm), but that I would call again for courtesy. I call again right at 6:30pm (an hour and half before closing) and a different crew must have been working because they didn't know anything about them. He said "hold on," and I hear him speaking to another associate about how they are not going to be able to do it. He gets back on the phone and just says "we're extremely busy and will not be able to do that for you." I explained that I was told to give them a half hour and he said "yes, for one." And I said "it's 6:30, I'm literally giving you exactly that for each one." And all he could say was sorry, we can't do it. Again, I understand how insane staffing has been literally everywhere, but clearly, I was planning a big group thing by ordering these and even called earlier in the day to plan for it. I had to drive 15 mins out of my way to a Kirkland location (who, btw, had them ready by 7:30). I probably wouldn't even be writing this review if they had offered some type of resolution: maybe at least one or two could have been made?? But no offers, I'll I got was "sorry." This is really poor business and the employees weren't even that nice about it. (Except for the guy I talked to at 2pm...) Probably won't be going to this location again. read more

The wifi is as slow as a snail today! I wanna kill somebody!!!! Not to mention I forgot to ask them to double blend my frappuccino today, so the drink separated into two layers (liquid and frost?) after 5 min! This location particularly is terrible due to some of the staff. I spend $100's @ Starbucks as well as my coworkers. This is the only close drive-thru. I usually pick up coffee in the afternoon. In particular Sara. She is RUDE!!! I havent ever come across a barista that had such an attitude. I asked for a little more half & half added to the side I requested. Now its around 2. So lines, its not super busy @ all. The gentleman was nice and went to ask for more & she starts making a face & complaining!! He comes back to the window to say next time they will have to charge. After the Peet's debacle today, I decided to try my luck again before church. I've been to this Starbuck's many times and it's consistently good. I, for one, welcome the green apron-wearing overlords to my neighborhood. One of the best things about this specific location is that they have a drive through. It's slow and the rain drips in to your car when you order, but you can still get your fix without getting out . Staff is always nice here too. I've had a few really nice experiences in dealing with them. Coffee is pretty much standard Starbuck's. Never had an exceptional cup here nor have I had a bad one. read more

A nice place to get a cup of coffee or a mocha. I like it because it is always consistent. If you drink mochas or lattes you know that every barista is different and at some places it is hit or miss. They always stick to the recipe which is good and bad. Good because it is always tasty, bad because variety is the spice of life. Yet the prices now suck and the wifi is not free. Starbucks is over crowded there were 4 people in uniforms supposed to be working and 2 of the gals were standing behind the counter chatting about there dates that night. The cashier was nice and the barista man was stressed out and rude. I was in a hurry so I ordered ice tea ( which is premade behind the counter, just needed to add ice). The 4 people behind me got there super fancy blended drinks that took a lot of time to make and the barista man forgot all about my ice tea. 20 minutes later I got frustrated and left without a drink because my husband was having a fit and we were going to be late to dinner. Quality of drinks from this location has always been fine, pretty standard fare for Starbucks. However demeanor of the staff (with the exception of maybe one or two employees) really throws me off. There are a total of three Starbucks inside the official RTC property boundaries. Just to be clear, this is NOT one of the two Starbucks located in the main shopping area of RTC. Rather, this is the third one on the outskirts of the RTC complex, just off of Redmond Way on 170th by the Dairy Queen and across from BofA. The best part of this Starbucks is the drive-thru. It's always super speedy to get through and your drink is usually ready by the time you reach the window and have finished paying - even if there was no one in front of you. I've never had a drink mixup - they are always sure to clearly repeat your order back to you at the speaker and also check the drink label before they hand it to you out the window. Inside is pretty speedy too and it's quiet, which is nice if you want to read or study. read more

I went through the drive-thru this morning and right after I ordered, I realized that I forgot my wallet. When I pulled up to the window, I apologized and said that I'd have to cancel my order. The girl at the window was so nice and said, "that's okay! We've already started one of the drinks so we'll just give it to you." It really made my day! It's small gestures like that that will keep me coming back to that store. I lived in Redmond for years and only went to this Starbucks after I moved to Seattle. I was in the area to go to La Isla, so my dad and I stopped in to get a cup of coffee and sit and chat for a while. It's a really nice Starbucks, better lay out than the Sbux in the same strip mall as the Trader Joe's and the QFC. Nice chairs and whatnot, feels cozier, though from the outside just looks like any other concrete chain Sbux. read more

The baristas are friendly, the location is clean and has plenty of seating, but the quality of their drinks is inconsistent. The espresso is usually burnt or it sat too long, and the milk is frothy, making your drink extremely light and almost airy. There are better Starbucks in the vicinity! read more

Well... I have been going to Starbucks for many , many years. I am shocked how I was treated this evening. As I walked up , a young man literally closed the door on me to say they were closed. I am okay with them closing on time , I know they have to clean etc. The shocking and disappointing thing is that there were still customers in line ordering . We were the only ones walking in, if there were a bunch of us , I might understand . I have been in retail , food service and management for years now . This was horrible customer service . People in Washington are spoiled by their Starbucks. Fireplaces, sofas, and better made coffee than other states. This place makes the drinks pretty good on a regular basis and has an excellent location. One of the cool things about this location is it is close to a bike and jogging trail so you can stop in and chill for a while out for some light exercise. read more

Since we go there far too often, my husband and I decided against going to our regular Duvall Starbucks this morning. We had a few extra minutes when we rolled into Redmond on our commute to work so we stopped by this convenient Starbucks, which is right on the way to 520. Big mistake! Our first red flag should have been the two cars forced to sit in the middle of the parking lot because a parking attendant couldn't let them into the drive thru line yet. The first car was let through quickly. However, the driver ahead of us had to sit and wait for several minutes (for no apparent reason). Same thing when it came to our turn. Guess this must be a fire code or something, which is good yet frustrating! Having to wait once then wait again in the drive thru line is not a relaxing way to start the day. When finally allowed into the drive thru, we again had to sit and wait SEVERAL minutes. Not sure what was taking so long in a drive thru! When we finally reached the window the barista was in a chatty mood and seemed to have not a care in the world. Meanwhile, we were feeling stressed as we were about to be late to work! While it was fun to try a new location and the drinks tasted wonderful, we'll avoid this place unless we have a 15-20 minutes (i.e. 1/2 of our commute time) to spare! read more
