While I don't visit Starbucks too often, I will occasionally treat myself to a quick drink when I'm on the go, thanks to the gift cards I've received over the years. Being located right next to Eastlake High School and the Sammamish shopping area, this Starbucks is pretty popular. In the early morning hours as people head to school and work, the drive-thru line gets rather lengthy (and the wait time inside can be 10-15 minutes), but the staff does a great job managing it all. Even during the rush hours, I've always received a bright welcome from the employees and the orders are crafted efficiently. This holiday season, I was excited to get an Eggnog Latte... my favorite of their seasonal drinks. Upon the first sip, I could immediately tell something was different. The flavor tasted artificial and didn't have that creamy consistency that I remember. A Google search confirmed that Starbucks swapped out real eggnog this year for a new eggnog powder. I was disappointed by this change and while it isn't specific to the Sammamish location, I figured it's still worth mentioning. During my next visit to Starbucks, I'll stick with one of my go-to drinks: + BROWN SUGAR OAT MILK SHAKEN ESPRESSO (decaf, half sweet): This always reminds me of an oatmeal cookie! + ICED MATCHA LATTE (w/ oat milk & 1 pump sweetener): Their oat milk is creamy and has a stronger oat flavor than I am used to. This said, add an extra scoop of matcha if you want a stronger tea taste. I have gotten this with 2% milk before and the matcha just settles to the bottom, but I don't have that issue with the oat milk! If you add a pump of brown sugar syrup, it makes it taste like a milk tea! + ICED GREEN TEA (no sweetener): This tea has a minty undertone that makes it extra refreshing and crisp. I also like the peach version in the summer. read more

This is a great place to get a quick drink! In busiest times of the day it can take about 25mins to get ur drink because of the long lines. However everything else is great and the staff is also very friendly! One thing I would say is the cleanliness of tables. They are often wet and dirty but otherwise this an above average Starbucks! read more

Terrible service today. Drink made wrong. Had to return to the store for correction/remake. Dumb, low IQ, fat girl with long hair would not remake the drink because the barista that made it was on break/gone and I couldn't prove what I ordered. WTF?! Who goes back to ask the drink to be remade if it's not wrong. The drink was made with the wrong milk. Major mistake given all the allergies people have. Took a while but eventually managers stepped in to assist. This employee I dealt with today was extremely incompetent and needs to be fired. read more

Staff are awesome, lines can take a bit of time which is a bummer, but otherwise great coffee.

We have two Starbucks in adjoining shopping malls. This is the larger of the two and by far the most heavily trafficked (mostly commuters using the drive-thru lane). Because of that, there is a bit of a delay in receiving your items (we didn't use the drive-through but the heavy traffic delays everything). I don't drink Starbucks coffee (the taste is too burnt for me), but it is one of the only venues in Sammamish where I can pick up a quick breakfast to go for my kids. For that, I'm giving them 3 stars just because they are convenient, have a decent variety of food items (although my kids only ever get the bagels), and are relatively efficient. This location has more seating and tables than the other one, which makes them even (the other is a bit faster getting their food out as they don't have a drive-through). The food seems to be exactly the same at both locations. read more

The machine that puts stickers on your drinks doesn't print well along the left side. So the number of syrup pumps people are asking for doesn't come through, or make it into the drinks sometimes. read more

Why can't I get a iced drink through drive though... This is the second time I got whte chocolate mocha late instead of an ICED?? I get most probably get hot drinks during the cold season but if I as for a cold drink..... I want a gold drink.... This Cafe is comfortable, casual, professional, and loud. I visit a lot of stores often but it's not everywhere that one can become a regular. I enjoy vising this cafe, when I'm in the area. The barista and customer behavior at this store show that this shop is more than a coffee stand. The parking is sometimes limited. Eastlake High school is 700 feet away; the shop is sometimes crowded with adolescents. This shop could boast free wifi, many tables, several 3-prong outlets, and plenty of staff. read more

I HATE the fact they refuse to put in the extra circular sleeve. When i asked about it they pointed me to where they were. This place can also take ten minutes during normal time. They dont seem to have the right capacity ability, which is key. It's the little things. read more

I am disappointed most of the time when I order blond roast coffee, they either give dark roast coffee(which I don't like at all ) or Starbucks roast (medium). If you don't have blond roast coffee readily brewed then you should offer pour over and not lie that dark roast is blonde :( read more

Something in this store is wrong. There is always confusion about where parts of the order are. Also, lately their Mocha's have almost no chocolate in them. A couple times it's been basically water. Today though, I ordered a Sausage and Cheddar and got home, no Sausage on the Sandwich. read more

I don't understand why the car couldn't have driven around and waited for the drink or whatever outside of the drive-thru line so as not to clog up the line. read more

I showed them that I had a reward, and the person at the cash register told me to pay. After paying, I noticed she charged me for my free drink, so I went and told her. She said that I didn't tell her I had a reward and talked back, making it look like none of it was her fault...what an awful experience...don't think I will come back anytime soon. read more

Starbucks is Starbucks right? I drive out of my way on my days off to work on my game here. The area has tons of seating and multiple full desks. Most of all, the people who work there feel like friends now. Fantastic people and place. It does get slammed with students from highschool at certain times, but it's the place I choose when I need to get 2-8 hours work done on my game and need a place to do it. The lady in the drive thru made my drink wrong, and I told her she did. Not even asking for it to be fixed because I didn't have time to wait any longer. And she just walked away. Very rude. Then I waited for someone to come back and another lady asked me what's wrong and I told her and she asked for the old one and looked at it and said it was right. And I asked her to make me a new at this point. And she made the right drink with no Carmel this time. *never going here again read more
