Unfortunately, the Starbucks location has some of the unkindest workers on staff. Service is 2 stars, ambience can be 5 stars because I do like the location. Food is on par with what normal Starbucks does, drinks-however are a two star due to lack or care/communication. I wish the staff would spend some additional time training customer skills/probably hiring more staff since I imagine some of the strain might be coming from understaffed circumstances? Anyways, constructively... please consider the way that your team speaks to customers, handles questions, and creates a "drink experience" You will be losing my orders, and I will not be recommending anyone to visit this location anytime soon. read more

Pretty standard Starbucks! They are pretty quick with drinks but could do with better access to napkins throughout the space.

Same ol' Starbucks fare, but the Baristas make the experience! Only two comfy chairs, complete with two fairly well dressed, incumbent 'residents' commanding the view, most mornings. The mgr at this Starbucks is concious of noise levels, keeping the music low, so ppl having business mtgs can discuss projects, w/o having to raise their voices, so everyone on the planet is privy to their intimate details. Ok, you're right; that's a bit exaggerated... . But I am thankful for restaurant & café mgrs, who do care about and value customer experiences. This is so disappointing to write, as it's been years since I have had to even write a review of a Starbucks visit (has been great for awhile!!). But I was treated incredibly unprofessional at this location back in January. I was yelled at from behind a barista station by a woman named Mandi; who wasn't even involved in the conversation; yelled at me also in front of a patient within my practice and numerous people in the shop. It was very embarrassing. I always order a Quad shot, extra ice, caramel drizzle. Simple, same price every time. My drink is always is $3.91 - they tried charging me over $5.00. I wanted to just buy the drink and come back later, but then the yelling ensued. I buy this drink just about everyday. I will never come back here which is sad because Arlene the Manager is a fantastic lady and I have been coming in for years. Also, Starbucks Corporate was not helpful in regards to handling the issue at hand. They tried to offer me a $10 gift card (not really even necessary) to remedy the issue. But what I would have preferred was just a refund for my drink and a more personal apology for Mandi's highly inappropriate and tacky behaviour. I was trying to not post a review on Yelp, but since several balls were dropped and I never got a credit to my account for the overly caramel filled drink... I felt I had to at least follow up as a client to say... "Hey, not cool!" read more

I do not say this lightly, but this is by far the best Starbucks I have ever been in and I have quickly become a regular here in the mornings. The staff in the mornings is extremely warm and friendly, they learned my name and drink in no time even though I only ever place mobile orders. The store is always clean and well maintained, and they have yet to mess up my drink in the 4 months since I started coming here. The most impressive part is that my drink is always made quickly and prepared by the time I enter the store. This is really impressive because every other store takes at least 15 minutes longer to make my cold brew and often times that's only after I remind them to check their mobile orders. Literally every time I come to the Starbucks here on Redmond way, I leave annoyed. I asked for the spinach egg white WRAP last time I came and they gave me these nasty little egg white buns idk what they even are... clearly wasn't a wrap and I drove away in a rush before I even noticed I got the wrong thing. Now this time I asked and paid for a GRANDE ice Starbucks double shot and I get a grande with a fourth of the drink missing. I was excited to get coffee. Love Starbucks every now and again. The cashier was rude. Asked me three times in a row "what can we get you". It was the tone and the amount of times she repeated her question. It was just rude. And I tried to be nice. Hi. How was your day. Again she said what can we get you. So I quickly ordered. I was blown away at the lack of professionalism and compassion shown by a few of the baristas. A man accidentally dumped their coffee on a young man sitting at a handicapped table. Instead of helping the young man get cleaned up they laughed about how hopefully this would finally get the young man to leave. They then pointed out that the young man didn't have a handicapped so he shouldn't have been sitting at that table. Just when I thought it couldn't get much worse they began to laugh and say that he was probably Autistic. Shame on them!!! Birthday rewards are great, until the barista tells you that you don't have enough points to redeem something which shows on your phone. Huh? I knew I wasn't fully awake. Then I'm told it might take a few days for stars to show on my account. Huh? I explain that I have 1 day to redeem it, which is today. To which she says "Oh, I must have hit the wrong button". I'm glad the mystery was solved. I also didn't need my sandwich heated up. To which to asks for my name. Huh? Why I ask. Then she says "Oh..never mind". I'm not anti-Starbucks. This is based on the place and service. I'm guessing this is the one in the Safeway parking lot. The servers were yelling across to each other (from behind the counter to tables) and this place is just not big. The noise pounds off the walls. By far the slowest Starbucks out there. If you aren't in a rush come here. Older ladies working and no one in line took 10 mins to order two teas and a banana bread slice and the order was still messed up. I won't be back here for sure. I have tried again and again to give this Starbucks a chance but they let me down everytime. I went in one time and when I gave my name the cashier went on and on about how that was her cat's name and how she named her after a famous book character. I am not named after said book character since I was born before the character was created and told the cashier that was named after something else and not the character. I said this in a friendly tone and the cashier looked at me in disgust as if I had just kicked her cat. She then was very rude for the rest of the order. Recently I went in again, hoping for a better experience but nope! I go up to the cashier and ask to use my employee discount. I have worked for the company a long time and never once has this happened to me. I ask to use my numbers instead of a partner (staff) card since I don't have one and have never had a problem because of my lack of one. The cashier, who I have a feeling is the same one from years ago, tells me she can only scan a partner card. I tell her once again, in a friendly tone, that I do not have one I simply have my numbers. She keeps on asking for my name and card so I end up giving her my name and she finally types in my numbers. She then proceeds to tell me that they are very strict in this area, an area I have lived in for 13 years and know fairly well, and I could be fired for using my numbers and no card. I have been to so many starbucks and never once have they told me I was going to get fired for using my numbers and not a card. I was speechless. Then she ignored me after I payed and handed me my food by shoving it in my direction and mumbling something. At my store, we are always polite and any confusion between partners from either our store or another is treated with respect and polite tones. It was ridiculous. No one go to this store.
