Long overdue on writing this review...maybe out of fear I'll jinx a good thing, but probably more along the lines that i truly just always forget. But any ways, this is my go to Starbucks! I don't even live too close to it. Kinda sad when you think about it, seeing as there's more than a handful of other locations closer to me, but kudos to them for staying consistent! They are the only Starbucks I've been to on numerous occasions (I'll refrain from stating an exact number, but let's just say...a lot) and always gets my order correct. It doesn't matter what I order, they just seem to know what their doing better at this location. I'll gladly keep driving a little out of my way every time I need my coffee fix! My absolute favorite Starbucks store and I have visited quite a few around the area and more. The crew here is absolutely the best! They are fun, friendly, always make you feel welcome and are absolutely on point with their service and coffee brewing skills. Added bonus is this is one of those rare Reserve stores that offer additional blends (and it's fun to watch the Clover machine brew coffee) and although there are plans to roll out Nitro to more stores, this was one of the original branches that serve it. Customer service was not very impressive and the wait time was horrendous due to the fact they kept messing up everyone's orders. Some lady jumped the line by saying she had been standing there "forever", which was probably close to 5 minutes. She came in after us and didn't wait half as long as us. They made her drink right away. Had I known that's how you got your drink faster, then I would have had my 10 year old start yelling really loudly and told him to act obnoxious after waiting 10 minutes, but we decided to have a little more class.... The facility was disgusting. I am not sure the place has been swept, let alone mopped since they opened the place. My 1 year old who is just learning how to walk was walking around the store and would fall every now and again. When I saw how dirty his hands and legs were, I had to take him into the bathroom and wash him. They were disgustingly black. I understand most people aren't walking around or falling on the store floor, but if this is how they maintain their floors, how is their bar area maintained? I'm sticking to Coffee Bean where I know they keep the place cleaner than this and their staff is more together than this crew. They were just a hot mess. This place has great customer service and is also a drive through. Excellent stop on the way to work or for an afternoon pick me up! They also have a small covered patio if you have a dog with you! read more

I have had pleasant experiences with every single associate EXCEPT M.J. Any time I have ever placed an order with her, there has been some type of issue. Which is why I try to go through the drive thru only... to avoid placing any order with her. The drive thru was too full. Went inside and placed my order. She questions what it is you want; if you say no, the look you get is not pretty. Not to mention - it took 3 minutes to place an order for an iced coffee? Beyond frustrating. I'm usually the one looking at the reviews not the one writing them. I come to this Starbucks on my break usually for my breakfast of the day, never really had any issues. Yesterday I had pulled up to the drive thru to get my regular food and drink, first thing that caught me off guard was the fact that I could BARELY hear the girl talking through the intercom, she kept repeating but still same volume. I thought she had got my total order but when it came to get my order I had an item missing that she didn't put down. There was a whole confusion about if they had some of the breakfast or not. One minute she said she had in stock, next minute she said they don't have any. So as I'm driving off noticing that wow I don't even have the sandwich I ordered. I end up walking in. I'm not even greeted at all, the 2 girls working just stare. Finally someone acknowledges that I'm inside and I tell her my issue. She then tells me that they are barely opening and they still need to go through inventory to stock the store. FIRST OF ALL. You open AT 6 and you guys are barely opening and stocking?? No wonder there is no breakfast items at breakfast time. They don't even have anything set up in time. I work food and restaurants so I understand it's a hassle. But the whole point in opening, is to be open in time for your customers. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE- 5 STARS Always friendly! ATMOSPHERE- 5 STARS My favorite Starbucks! I love their seating arrangement and furniture. Great dining area outside as well, which is great when the weather is nice. There's always space here unlike other Starbucks that can get overwhelmingly packed and noisy. This place tends to be generally quiet (quiet besides the sound of their blenders/machines) and a good place to study/work. CLEANLINESS- 5 STARS No complaints, really. If a table is dirty, I'm sure it was only recently used. You can usually find another table that is clean if there is an issue or wait till an employee has time to come by and clean the tables which is not too few and far betweeen. DRINKS- 5 STARS My favorite drink is the white chocolate mocha! I never get sick of it and love it whether hot or iced, depending on the weather. My favorite part is that I don't need to add any sugar, etc. to it because it's already great the way it is. I hate having to figure out how much sugar I need in other coffees. PRICING- 3 STARS Okay pricing. Better value if you can drink a whole venti (or large) but little pricey if you only get a tall (or small). PARKING- 5 STARS Large parking lot, always lots of spots! Feeling tired on my way to work so I was a happy clam indeed when I saw the bright, beckoning lights of Starbucks. FAIL STARBUCKS! All the lights in and out of the building are turned on to make you think they are open, but nope. They don't open until 6am in spite of having every light in the immediate area blazing brightly. Either don't turn your lights on an hour prior to opening, or post your hours in more than one place so people don't waste their time waiting for a cup of coffee they will never get and still have time to go to a different location. read more

I have been a customer of this location for a while as I work down the street. Rich is always on top of his game, super sweet! Which is why I give the location 3 stars. My other experiences, not so smooth. Today I preordered through my app at 9:28am and did not get my order until 9:53 am causing me to be late to work. The only employee who cared enough to fix my order was not even on the clock! She gave me a refund and tried to put in my order right away, meanwhile, the girl who I originally spoke to had a "I don't care" attitude, walked away while I was giving her my order I was waiting for and came back with the wrong order. My order is not hard. I order a nitro cold brew and bacon bites! Like, why did I have to wait for bacon bites when I preordered?? I understand waiting 5-8 min but 30?!!!??? Not ok. read more

This location is a true gem. I frequently visit this location due to the ample space and the availability of the Reserve coffee. There are plenty of chairs both inside and outside, the store is always clean, and the clientele tends to be on the classier side. I've noticed they consistently have a well-stocked pastry case, even into the evenings. This location also offers the Starbucks Evenings menu (which I have yet to try) but it looks amazing. I've ordered via the drive-thru, and they are fairly prompt in getting cars through. They are always friendly and my order is always correct. On some occasions, my drink is ready when I pull up to the window. If you're pressed for time, definitely consider using the mobile ordering at least 10 minutes prior to your arrival. The mornings tend to be very busy between the drive-thru and inside the store, and the mobile ordering tends to reduce the wait time drastically. read more

There are 3 locations near my house but I'll choose this one to go to every single time. All the baristas and staff members are super friendly and top of that finding a place to sit down is never an issue. If you need to study or get work done, they have a long table which comes equipped with built-in outlets so bring as many chargers as you need. I've also noticed this location is less chaotic than the others, even during the usual "rush time" hours but if you want to grab a good seat then I suggest coming in around 1-2pm. read more

Love this Starbucks!!! My office recently relocated to the Poway area and this location is very convenient for me to stop at. I went thru the drive thru and was so pleased with how quick it was. Once I got to the window I was greeted with a good morning the girl scanned my app for payment and the barista handed her my drink all with in seconds of me arriving at the window. My drink was made perfectly. This is a great location fast and friendly and awesome drinks! read more

I don't have many good things to say about this place except for that I prefer the Starbucks in Mira Mesa over this one. Whether I drive-thru or walk in , there is always a wait. come here bc there are no more local coffee shops. It is sad. This store is my favorite Starbucks of all time. They're always incredibly friendly, and my drinks are always made perfectly. (Which is saying something, given that my drinks can get kind of complex!) We live 15 minutes away and make the drive because they're just that great here. I've had amazing, friendly service from every barista I've interacted with here, but today I wanted to give a special shout out to Daniel and Bella. Daniel is in training but he was still incredibly patient and thorough when accepting a drink to be remade from another location. Bella was the barista on the cold bar, and she remade my drink perfectly. Starbucks is stealing your money!!! I go to Starbucks A few times a month. I noticed when I bought an ice coffee, half was ice. I then paid more attention to the price. One Venti coffee is $2.75. For the past times bought a Venti iced coffee I was charged $3.20. I asked the barista why she charged me more money. She said the extra was for the added sweetener that comes with ice coffee. I had no sweetener in mine. She agreed that she didn't know why Starbucks was charging more for nothing. read more

This Starbucks has a good amount of tables & is open later than most (10pm) if you're looking for a place to study. The staff is friendly & the store is always clean. They're also now serving beer, wine, & small plates to much on. The one downside is that they frequently run out of the cold brew coffee which is the main reason I prefer Starbucks over other coffee chains. read more

This Starbucks blatantly ignored my until 6am, which Starbucks has a 5 minute rule of opens and closes that the baristas have to follow, or at least did when I was a barista from 2016-2019. I arrived at 5:56am. Once they did talk to me I barely got the time of day, you could tell they didn't like me cause I showed up early, I get it. I used to be the opening supervisor, you want all your stuff done before you serve, but don't be upset with for showing up four minutes early. I served them regardless, it's policy. I have waited to write this because I thought it might get better. Today I was shown that was not going to ever happen. This Starbucks has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The staff are always more concerned with chatting with each other than actually making drinks. And today whoever was working the drive through window should be fired. He was extremely rude. I had a 50.00 bill and I thought I had something else to pay with but unfortunately I had left my card at home. I told him I was so so sorry but this was all I had and he was such an asshole about it. God forbid you had to give me 40.00 back. This place is unbelievable. So living in Seattle I feel may spoil me. I have never been so rudely spoken to at any Starbucks across the country. All I asked was to make the drink I ordered, not the drink I was made. With Starbucks raising their prices, they should keep their quilts up also. The drink was not made correctly and tasted wrong. Ordered a Salted Caramel Macchiato (since its fall and salted caramel is back). I had to have it remade and its still too salty. Apparently this location doesn't know the salt/caramel ratio because I feel like i just drank caramel flavored salt. I work out of a lot of coffee shops and the vibe here is amazing. I sometimes stay away from Starbucks because it can feel really corporate to me, but not this one. It feels like a neighborhood shop. It seems like the workers have built some great community and that they really take care of their regulars. They know a lot of people by name and really take care to get the orders right.
