My go-to Starbucks since it's right off the freeway. A few negative experiences where they got my order wrong and made my latte w cold milk instead of steaming it, charged me incorrectly so I had to contact customer service to get my money back, wasn't open on time. My biggest advice is order on the app and go pick it up (lines get long) AND taste your drink before leaving so they can remake it if it's wrong. read more

Maybe before you hire someone you should make sure they can read. It doesn't matter what language, basic READING COMPREHENSION should be a must. This is the 3rd time in one week they have given my pre-ordered coffee to someone else, forcing me to wait while they remake it. What if you gave my drink to someone with an allergy? Why can't you just learn to READ and give the correct order to the people who order it. If I weren't pre-ordering online I would understand the mistake. Even if it only happened once, I would forgive them. Mistakes happen. But 3 times in one week tells me the employees either can't read or can't be bothered to read. read more

This location is probably one of my most favorable. A lot of the afternoon-dinner crew knows who I am and always asks if I have my mobile order before I'm able to mention my name to them at the window. I respect them for paying attention and having a great attitude. However, I'm quite disappointed in the quality of service coming from one individual. Her name is Jing (I believe). She wears a hat super low, covering her face and has one of the poorest social etiquettes with her customers. I've had to repeat my name 3 times at the window for her to hear and understand my name and doesn't communicate with us at the window. Her service is absolutely atrocious. I know it isn't a training-issue because every other employee in that building is nice and welcoming. I would not reflect the crew's work-etiquette off of her personality. They're all amazing people and unfortunately, she is the reason I can only provide 3-stars. Nonetheless, I enjoy visiting this location more than others. I've been a loyal Starbucks customer for over seven years. I visit daily and have spent thousands of dollars across locations. But today, I had the worst experience I've ever encountered at this Pomona store and I left without even receiving a drink. I tried to order a lavender oat milk matcha latte and was told they no longer have lavender because it's not in season. I completely understood and simply asked for the same drink with vanilla cold foam instead. Rather than handling the request professionally, the barista responded over the intercom while laughing and said, "This is the last time I'm going to tell you we don't have lavender." I stayed calm and clarified again that I was asking for vanilla. When I got to the window, I asked to speak with a manager, and a woman named Jazz said she was the manager. Unfortunately, she was just as dismissive and condescending, laughing while I explained my concern. I was then spoken to by another staff member named Diana, who doubled down and claimed I was the one being inappropriate even though I had maintained a respectful and calm tone throughout. At no point did anyone take accountability or even attempt to remake the drink. In fact, I left empty-handed, feeling completely disrespected and uncomfortable. The tone, the attitude, and the lack of basic courtesy were shocking. Whether this was just a case of employees having a bad morning or something deeper like prejudice, I can say with confidence I've never experienced this kind of treatment at any Starbucks. It was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely out of line. I sincerely hope this store receives retraining on how to treat customers with basic respect. Nobody should be treated this way especially not a regular customer simply trying to get their usual drink. read more

Ordered a shaken expresso size venti with salted Carmel cold foam [regualr] Picked up my order noticed it light right away but didn't have time to analyze till I was at my desk..... drink was 50%cold foam!!!! I always stop here on my runs for water and everyone is always nice although why don't they have a bathroom for customers? And why don't they have patio furniture or free wifi? Very unlike the normal standards for a Starbucks. With it just being a drive thru it's get in, give us ur money, and get out. The drive thru on Dudley is also like it BUT they have patio furniture and wifi... why can't this one do the same? They have the space for a few chairs and tables for sure. FYI I use the drive thru all the time on week days and the service is always great and the drinks are always good :) read more

On a ride back to Los Angeles my son had an emergency. He has a disability and he was not going to make it any longer so we pulled off the highway so he could go to the bathroom. We stopped between an abandoned building and the side of a Starbucks with no intention of going to Starbucks. He peed in the bushes and then asked if we could go through the drive through. Sure...why not. When we got to the window, employee Dylan came to the side of the window server and asked if my son peed in the bushes. I said, "Yes, so sorry it was an emergency." He then went on and on about how we can't do that - longer than he needed to with zero tact. My son (and daughter) were very embarrassed and I tried to laugh it off to make them feel more comfortable. I tried to quickly complete the transaction, but Dylan wouldn't stop. So I asked for the store number and he yelled - "NEVER COME BACK!" We left and my son started to cry and both kids refused to drink their drinks as my son felt 'they put something in our drinks they were so rude.' I am left wondering if you have training courses on how to speak with tact and kindness. All he needed to say was, please don't do that again and leave it at that. He went on and on. He left my kids, embarrassed and scared - scared that their drinks 'we're poisoned.' I hope that you speak with Dylan at Store #6660 (1500 Gillette Road, Pomona, CA 91768). I would also like a refund of $14.00 for my drinks. Not sure my kids will forget this experience. We most certainly will take Dylan's advice to 'NEVER COME BACK' to that particular store, but still deciding if we will continue to go to Starbucks. read more

6:40 AM we ordered a caramel macchiato and cookie mocha crumble and it was a total disappointment we did not enjoy our drinks and had to throw them away , such a waste of points and our money and time.. watery caramel macchiato. No caramel, whipped cream and tasted like it was dirty coffee water , mocha cookie crumble had no crumbles and tasted just like heavy whipped cream nothing more ... Employees had disgusting attitudes which made the service here at Starbucks a bad experience!! I'm so glad they opened this Starbucks a couple months ago! They have another drive thru location off the next exit on Fairplex Dr. I live right in between the two. I've been going to the other location for years right before taking the 10 fwy to work. Nothing wrong with that location except it's hard getting into and out the parking lot by the way it's designed. Plus always soooo busy! I came to this location for the first time yesterday. I love the fact that this Starbucks is right around the corner of my house. It makes it a lot more convenient. This goes for any retail, fast food place...employers work very hard to make an affordable living and customers need to realize that they make mistakes and sometimes those mistakes don't fall on the employers. I always go to my local Starbucks, which is the location off of Gillette, before the 10 freeway. On Thursday morning, I drove up and placed my order, i ordered four drinks not very complicated at all, along with the baked apple croissant. My order was correct on the screen, but when I drove up to the window. I was handed three wrong drinks, only one drink and the croissant were correct. The cashier was nice about it, but the barista VELVET WAS RUDE! her customer service skills suck and trust me, I know all about customer service considering I work in a grocery store and I work with customers all day! But when I'm speaking to someone nicely, I expect that in return, I don't care if someone before me upset you or you woke up moody. Leave that behind you and move on with it. She stood there and tried to argue about the fact that she was right and I was wrong when I knew what i ordered that day. I wasn't the one who pressed the wrong buttons and made the wrong drinks she did. This was not the first time this person Velvet had done something like this. A few days prior, I placed a mobile order, and when I drove up, my order was SITTING outside of the drive thru window like how very unprofessional disgusting and disrespectful that is to a paying customer like myself and I could imagine how others get treated by her. In my personal opinion, I feel that someone like VELVET should not work in customer service. Go work behind the scenes where you're not seen nor have to work around people. People like her make others not want to go back to our favorite places. There's others that work there who are fine and happy go lucky but her not so much. I would not recommend going to the Starbucks. The baristas are fabulous, but I know that the management is terrible. They get treated so unfairly and the working conditions are gross. I know that they have cockroaches in the store as well as dirty sinks that aren't cleaned well. The store manager diana is evil. Just be careful. read more

Guy working the drive thru was very rude. I always order from the passenger seat when my husband is driving and there is never a problem. This guy said he couldn't hear me when every Starbucks I go to there is no problem. He said I can't hear you cause your in the passenger seat.
