Went in to purchase an ice cream cake for my son's birthday He is a huge sports fan and I wanted a Lakers themed cake. They had an NBA Lakers theme image on their website so I called regarding serving sizes, price etc. Every single time I called they were patient and very nice. I walked in to put in the order so I can look at what the one sheet looks like, to make sure I had enough cake for our party size. Gianna was in the front that day and acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. She was helping another customer, and right away I felt her positive attitude towards her customers. She was offering sample sizes and did not rush her customer off just because I walked in. Gianna did the exact same thing for me. I had ALOT of questions and she remained patient and helpful with all of it. I ended up ordering two sheet pans of cake to make sure it was enough. That is when Zain came into the picture! He definitely loves his job and remains professional and positive. He was able to provide options and be very honest on how he can make what I was picturing come to life. I know it's just a cake but as a 12 year old, your cake means a lot. Zain was patient, kind and considerate. He made the cake look and taste so great and even added both our favorite teams which was a PLUS! Every single person at the party could not stop talking about it. I stick to the classic vanilla ice cream but it never fails to impress me. The chocolate chip iceam and the mommas making cookies (which is not always available) are the favorites ! Found a mint chip one with chocolate cake, in the shape of a frothy beer stein (or root beer float if one prefers). Super cute and easy to purchase quickly. Once we brought it home we cut it open and found that there was almost more frosting than cake or ice cream. Maybe it was because of the cylindrical shape? But I wish it were like 50% ice cream, 40% cake, and only 10 % frosting. Also the ice cream and cake separated as soon as I cut each slice. The flavor was great in any case! read more

I am super disappointed in this place. This is my go to Baskin Robbins For When My Kids Are Out of tutoring next door or after soccer practice for a snack. I placed an online order for a cake a month in advance for my son's birthday. When I arrived at the scheduled pick up time my cake looks nothing like what I ordered. The cookies on top were cracked, the ice cream inside the cookies were melted and the cake looked like it was out of the freezer for hours. When I asked if we can change the cookies on top to look more presentable, Briana stated " no sorry, I literally just made this and cookies crack", I said okay but this one is not cracked and she shrugged her shoulders n said you can get a different cake from the freezer but this is what you ordered. The flavor for this month (April 2019) at Baskin Robbins is Oreo n' Caramel. Not sure if ice cream could ever get much better than this flavor. Wow. It's a good thing I don't come here often. I'd gain 300 pounds this month. Parking is good. Friendly service etc at this Claremont location today. No problems with any of that. I hope Baskin Robbins can stay in business. I drive by this location all the time and rarely see anybody inside. Not a great location. It's hard to see it's there from the street until you've already passed it.
