I think it's time for a management change for this location. The location is poorly ran always being out of ingredients for common drinks. Furthermore, it hit or miss when they will be open and they close early. Being a local to this location, I will not be returning unless there is a significant change. I went through the drive through about 5am. There was nobody in front of me and nobody behind me in line. I chose SB over DB because I felt like maybe the competition was hurting business and the baristas tips. I no longer care. The barista taking my order was rude. I was trying to add something to eat and she just kept interrupting. Finally I said- never mind I won't get anything else, that is it! I figured the store must be packed and they were busy. I can't see the store from the drive through. Nope, I was the only person there. So they couldn't take the time to allow me to complete my order because they were too busy socializing. When I got to the window they charged my sb card. For free they downsized my order! I ordered a medium and paid for a medium and was given a tall. When I questioned the size- I got attitude, for free! I just paid for a grande (medium) and was given a tall (small) but somehow it was my fault. They did remake it. But it was lukewarm and didn't have any espresso in it! I paid for semi warm milk with cinnamon dolce sweetener. Soooooo, SB I tried. I wanted to support you and your baristas. But honestly I am just disappointed that I wasted my money there. I will happily brave the DB line across the street. They have never made me feel like a burden or screwed up so royally. read more

Leaving negative reviews is not something I enjoy, but leaving honest reviews is important to me. This Starbucks location is not kne I have had great luck at lately. This morning was the final start for me. I sent in a mobile order with three items and each one had an issue. Granted, my drink missing whipped cream is minor on the grand scheme of life issues so not really a big deal. But when both of my food items are literally incorrect items, that's where I draw the line. I hope my photos upload with this review. Along with my drink this morning, I ordered a cranberry bliss bar but instead received a cheese Danish. Not sure how you mess those up. I also ordered a double smoked bacon breakfast sandwich but was given a sausage cheddar breakfast sandwich. In addition to receiving incorrect food items, I received food items that were lower price points than what I paid for. I've had similar issues like this at this location in the past. Also not sure how you mess this up at 5:30am when the store is not slammed or super busy with an influx of orders - they had just opened. Unfortunately I didn't realize the mishap with the food until I had already left and was stuck with it. Needless to say, this is why I rarely frequent this location. Their staff needs to slow down and read the print outs and pay attention to what they are doing. Last time I sent a mobile order here my food item magically disappeared before I showed up and they had to make another one. Again, first world problems, but not exactly what you hope for when you send in a mobile order and you are trying to get to work early in the morning. There are definitely better local options to choose for coffee, even as early as 5:30am than Starbucks, and I would rather take my business elsewhere. read more

I've been coming to this Starbucks for 6 years now. I've never had a bad experience here. The wait times are actually quicker than most other Starbucks; they are always genuinely nice and respectful. They actually get my drink right (it is a very annoying one to make, I'm sure). 5:30 am coffee run today and my drink is so fabulous and hitting the spot! Ugh. The workers here are usually pretty nice, but this location is ALWAYS out of everything. ALWAYS. They never get my husband's order right (a 'black iced coffee plain' will still end up with sweetener in it), and the service, while friendly, is very slow as well. Expect to wait in a long line only to be told they are out of everything you want. Heads up, the downtown location is just as bad, if not worse. read more

Stopped in here on my way to Tahoe to use the restroom and get some coffee. I didt get names but whoever was working on Wednesday 11/4 at 12:50pm are my favorite!! The cashier addressed me by name as I left (didn't tell her my name for my coffee, but she picked it up when I paid with my gold card) the barista asked if I wanted cream and wasn't super heavy handed with it, even asked if I wanted a lid. When another employee walked in they all greeted her and when she asked how they were, the cashier replied "excellent as always!" How refreshing to hear, rather than the usual "blah blah life sucks, I'm tired etc" like I hear anywhere else. I wish this could be my usual Starbucks, but unfortunately it's about 2 hours from home. This is the worst Starbucks on the face of the earth. Do a mobile order, you don't know if your drink will be ready or if it's lost in the Twilight Zone. Employees are disorganized & running amok. Having casual conversations with each other while the line is to the door. This is a nightmare Starbucks. Stay away. Go to the one in the Safeway across the parking lot. Thos Starbucks is pretty chill overall but it's never been my favorite location, even when I lived here (here to help parents move). My favorite location is on Broadway because this one 1. It's soo crowded and busy 2. The girls aren't as nice 3. This has to be one of the worst starbucks I have ever been to. They can never get orders right. I placed on instore pick up order on our road trip. Barely had time to make a stop. I walked in, no one working acknowledged me. I grabbed my order and said thank you, they didn't look in my direction or say anything. We got on the hwy when I realized that my drink didn't have any espresso in it and was in the wrong sized cup. So I didn't get my well needed and expensive coffee drink. They can't seem to stick to their work hours either. Seems like Starbucks has completely fell off their quality. Maybe they need a new store manager to get the store up and running. read more

Stopped by this Starbucks while on the way to South Lake Tahoe. Associates were nice but a little slow. When first coming in to the store the first feeling I got was that it was very dirty which is why I am rating a 2. There was not one table clean and the floor was so dirty. Then when I went to use the restroom one was broken so they had a sign that it was out of order. I waited to use the other restroom and it was just as bad as the rest of their facility. read more

Go to starbucks.com/responsibility/community/foodshare. At closing every night, any nonperishable items are donated to different nonprofit places. If there is Salvation Army in Placerville, they will get some of it. This probably has nothing to do with any of Starbucks but I write children books. Get 8 1/2 by 11 sheet paper, fold in half, one side for the story, the other side to draw the pictures. I did or wrote one book if even Miss Starbucks fights bullies. Yes I have learned to draw Miss Starbucks. She pours her drink on the bully. Some the Starbucks guests, they want help Miss Starbucks, so they also pour their drinks on the bully. Drown Out Bullying. Okay Miss Starbucks realizes that the Guests no longer has their drinks so for each Guest that helped Miss Starbucks drown the bully, Miss Starbucks gives each Guest a coupon for a free drink. Miss Starbucks also gives to each of these Guests a Starbucks gift card of fifty five dollars. Say the Guest has registered gift card, using example, has thirty two dollars and fifty cents left. They can transfer the fifty five dollar gify card to the registered card, will now have eighty seven dollars and fifty five cents to spend for future orders. This Starbucks is clean inside. Yes it has breakfast sandwiches, muffins, different coffee flavors, different tea flavors, hot chocolate. Best of luck to the employees of this Starbucks. I like this Starbucks because the drive thru line moves fast and if you are stuck there for a really long time they usually give you the drink for free. My drinks here are messed up quite a bit and one time a girl refused to remake it, she wasn't there for long so I guess I'm not the only one that wasn't pleased with her bad attitude. By far my favorite Starbucks, especially because of the drive through. Everyone that works here has been extremely friendly and the drinks/food are always on point. I've never had any issues with mobile ordering to this location and I've never really had to wait long, in the drive through or in store. They pump the drinks out when the lines get long but still make sure to make them right. The store is always clean as well. I highly recommend you try this drink: Starbucks Doubleshot, with white mocha syrup instead of classic and breve (half n half). I guarantee you'll love it! read more

Giving two stars for the coffee and the other employees but subtracting three for the three times the older lady who wears pajamas to work with a horrible attitude has taken my order. I work as a barista at a coffee shop myself and when I said "oooh do I want hot or cold coffee she said "well I don't know it IS going to be 114 degrees outside so it shouldn't be that hard of a decision." Then I proceeded with an iced coffee with room please, I quickly got my iced coffee. I realized the cream was not out for the public so I said "can I get some cream please?" And I got a "yeah you could have asked during your order since we have not had cream out in the public for 9 months!" I'm like okay you cranky lady, maybe you drink your own coffee before serving another customer. Would give her the benefit of the doubt but this is the third time. Placing my order was smooth as uaual. The delivery of it was below one star! I purchased a reusable cup and had the lid. When my order was ready I placed the lid on and it overflowed right in front of the barista. She looked at me and said," there's napkins at the counter behind you". Really?!
