After driving from Reno through a snowstorm and an atmospheric river of rainfall my daughter and I stopped at Foxwood Coffeehouse for breakfast. My daughter being a picky eater chose to get an egg, potato, and bacon burrito. I had the foxwood burrito and an americano. The service was great and the food came out fast. To my surprise my daughter really enjoyed her burrito. She is a tough one to please! The foxwood burrito was tasty. There was a nice sauce and everything was cooked well. My only complaint, keeping this from a five stat review would be the potatoes on the burrito. They had a bit of a freezer burn taste. It wasn't horrible but I noticed it. All in all this was a great little coffee shop that will please even the pickiest of eaters! read more

So my partner has been living here literally his whole life, and we come to visit his family we always stop at this yogurt spot across the street and noticed this place in the corner( a little hard to find if you didn't know what to look for). We decided to give it a try one morning and the menu is very diverse. Almost too diverse, as in there's too many different types of drinks and it makes the menu feel all over the place. This does make sense as it seems to work well with who stops by. As for the workers they all seem pretty young, but as it was my first time, the service seems little all over the place - again seems to work with the vibe of the place. I always love coming here for lunch since I work around the corner. And they also have some gluten-free items. But today I got a salad and of course a gluten-free lemon loaf and their fall apple cider spicy chai. Very good, yum. everybody's very friendly that works there and they're pretty quick to make your items. they do make sandwiches on gluten-free bread. Lots of drink choices as well. We happened upon this great gem of a café on our way to S.L. Tahoe. I ordered a blended mocha and the wife asked for an iced latte. Both were on point, and the breakfast bagels had to be the highlight of it all. I had a avacado, egg, bacon on everything bagel that was artful and delicious, and the wife had the American bagel. Wanted to check out this coffee spot and although I was meaning to order my go-to coffee drink of choice, an iced mocha, I was pleasantly surprised that cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese iced coffee) is offered here. It's my all-time favorite type of coffee drink! Got that instead and, eh, kinda wished that I stuck with the iced mocha plan. Lady at the cashier informed me that it would take some time to make, which at first I thought was a good sign since it would indicate that it would be made fresh to order, but taking 30 min to do a pour over on the metal filter (phin) was a bit of an overkill lol. Didn't even taste exceptionally smooth compared to Vietnamese iced coffees that I've had elsewhere that took much less time to prepare. Also, the filter didn't even seem to work well as there was a layer of coffee grounds debris at the bottom of my cup making the last 1/6th of my drink undrinkable without sipping up some bitter grittiness. Aside from that, the cafe had chill social vibes and the staff were very friendly. Overall I wouldn't deter you from checking out this place but I wouldn't really recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee here. read more

The fella at the counter service provided great customer service, however, the other employees weren't very friendly. The eggs were overly cooked and their food selection is not extensive. If you are seeking non-pork breakfast items this isn't the place to go, however, they do serve a great grilled cheese. I asked for deli turkey and it turned itself into a nice panini. I asked no tomato and they didn't listen and gave me tomato. The lemon loaf was overly sweet! Overall, Foxwood Coffeehouse is a decent place for a quick breakfast or lunch. This place really serves some great coffee! This time I went with their Aztec Chai which is a blend of the Mexican mocha and spicy chai. I think I found my new favorite drink. This place is so good! Also got a Foxwood burrito for breakfast as well, and that was delicious!! The tortilla is panini pressed which gives the burrito a wonderful crisp texture! I'm enjoying this place more and more. Cute little place with comfy seating and regular tables inside. They have a nice shaded area outside as well. Service was friendly. Worth noting, they add 2.8% to your bill if you use a credit card. Sandwich came out piping hot and delicious. It has tomato and pesto which really amp up the flavor. Perfectly adequate but nothing fancy. Quite a lovely place in a small town. Stopped over a week ago to wait for an appointment start elsewhere. So glad I did. Nice place that has good indoor seating (some tables, a few cozy chairs), a bookcase, and a very nice patio area. Good view of the area as this location sits up on a hill. That day it was extremely rainy, some lightnings, and super windy. Cuddled inside with my book and iced tea, it was a great view north and west. We love Foxwood. So happy to have them in town. The drinks are really good, with a lot of creative and delicious options, especially for chai enjoyers like myself. The food, though, is the reason we will probably never go anywhere else for breakfast. Hands down the best breakfast burritos in Northern California - my favorite is the Tuscan Sunrise, but they're all great. I was blown away by the ham & cheese croissant; I bought one for my 1yo daughter and ended up eating half of it in bewildered amazement. The cozy seating area is complemented by simple but warm ambiance and a nice patio. Above all, the staff is attentive, kind, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Dog friendly north facing covered patio a bit chilly in late November. Instead a table on the west side had partial sun which was a perfect place to eat my avocado toast ($5) topped with a scrambled egg ($2). If they offered I'd gladly pay a little extra $ for something more creative than thin sliced wheat bread with a tiny bit of avocado spread. Perhaps a thick multigrain bread and some more avocado with chunks of bacon and maybe some tomato slices. Egg was only available scrambled, not sure why. Coffee was quite good, I chose dark roast from a carafe, refills ok. Three star food, add 1 star for outside seating options and good coffee. read more

This place was a great find. Right off of HWY-50. Delicious sandwiches and great coffee to get me ready for the day. I had a latte with oatmilk and a good morning bagel sandwich. The coffee had great flavor and the sandwich was fresh and nice and warm. They have a great selection of food. This place gets pretty crowded on Saturday morning but my wait wasn't too long, about 15 minutes. There is a nice outdoor area, although you are really close to the highway. read more

Visited Foxwood Coffeehouse midday on a Saturday. There were only two other customers at the time, but I am astonished the coffeehouse didn't have a line out the door! The sandwiches are phenomenal. I did a build your own - egg, bacon, tomato, avocado on a croissant. Nothing was premade, the eggs were real eggs, the bacon crispy, and the avocado wasn't paste; it was freshly crushed! My family enjoyed a ham and cheese on a croissant and a BLT. Beyond the fresh ingredients, the service was excellent! The baristas were very friendly and customer-service oriented. In ordering an Americano, we were asked at what point the coffee should stop to allow room for milk - the first time I've ever been asked this, and a question I wish Starbucks would adopt! I haven't even touched on the ambiance. There was spacious seating and ample table space inside and on the deck. The interior was comfortable, clean, and yet unpretentious - a place where a weary traveler like myself could be refreshed and restored. read more

The restaurant we were planning to have breakfast at was closed so we went next door to this coffeehouse. Although the cashier was very friendly when taking our order, overall we were disappointed. My bagel and cold brew were good, but my husband's breakfast wrap had what appeared to be extremely undercooked, mushy hash browns and soggy eggs. His mocha was just luke warm. With so many excellent reviews we thought it would be much better. Maybe it was just an off day, but I don't know that we'll give it another try. read more

growing up in the area, i felt like the coffee shop selection was very limited to starbucks or grab a coffee from the store. i've recently fallen in love with foxwood coffee and i'm so glad it's around for us all to enjoy. you absolutely cannot go wrong with their california and good morning bagels (+ bacon) -- YUM. i'm a traditionalist and love their iced americanos. the coffee is delicious (no bitter corporate coffee here)! the staff are always kind and there's always plenty of seating. would love if they were open a little longer in the day for some of us late risers, but it's worth waking up early for! read more

This is my favorite place to grab breakfast and a coffee in the area! The staff is so incredibly sweet and welcoming. I am so happy to have such an amazing local small business to be able to happily throw my money at! While I am in no way a coffee connoisseur, I can tell that this place has high quality stuff. Honestly, my favorite thing to get is the good ol' fashioned drip. In my experience they will have two variations available and they describe the notes in the brew, darkness of the roast, etc. it is the most delicious coffee I've ever had...and lemme tell you, I've had a lot. That brings me to my next favorite thing...the star of the show. The one and only Motherlode Avocado Toast. In the past I made fun of avocado toast. It seemed like something only uppity hipsters would order. Seemed bland and almost..ironic? But...I heard another Foxwood customer raving about it so I decided to go for it one day. It is $9.50 for toast..which may seem like a lot..but absolutely 100% worth it. It's just perfect. The crispy crunch of the delicious sourdough, the creaminess of the avocado, the tart feta cheese, bacon, and spicy garlic-y goodness of the chili sauce. It has so many layers of flavor that work together beautifully. I have tried re-creating this at home but I just can't seem to nail it like Foxwood does. I love you Foxwood! read more
