On our way back to Sacramento from South Lake Tahoe, we stopped to get gas, and my husband said,…read more"Go get a coffee, babe." I'm so glad he did! I walked into this adorable little coffee shop Camino Coffee Mill and was immediately greeted with a huge smile by the gentleman behind the bar. He was incredibly friendly, struck up a conversation, and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I walked in. I didn't catch his name, but he provided amazing customer service. I ordered an iced mocha, and it was made quickly and tasted absolutely delicious--exactly what I needed for the drive home! It's always refreshing to find a place with both great coffee and even better customer service. If you're passing through the area or live nearby, I definitely recommend stopping in. I'll be back the next time I'm in the area!

Some days the staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, while on other days the level of service seems to depend entirely on the mood of the barista. The quality of a coffee can bring customers in, but consistency in kindness and professionalism is what keeps them coming back. A smile, respect, and a positive attitude are just as important as the drink being served. It seems that since tipping became something requested before the service is even provided, a bit of the humility and gratitude that once defined great customer service has been lost. Not everywhere, of course, but too often the smile, attentiveness, and genuine care that used to earn a tip have been replaced by the expectation of receiving one. The best tips are still earned the old-fashioned way: through kindness, respect, and exceptional service.

What a wonderful stop during our family trip to Apple Hill!…read more Rainbow Orchards is one of those places that reminds you why visiting this area during the fall is so enjoyable. We came up from the southern Central Valley for a family outing and couldn't have asked for better weather. The atmosphere was pleasant, the people were friendly, and thankfully it wasn't overwhelmingly crowded like some of our previous Apple Hill experiences. I especially appreciate the relaxed orchard atmosphere and the opportunity to spend quality time with family away from our usual busy schedules. Sometimes the simplest outings turn into the best memories, especially when the weather cooperates and everyone is having a good time. Overall, I'd rate our visit a 9/10. A lovely place to include on your Apple Hill itinerary, and definitely somewhere we'd be happy to visit again. Thank you for the hospitality and for helping make our family outing so enjoyable!

There's just something about the smell of freshly made donuts, the crisp fall air, and the whole atmosphere. There is ample parking, which makes stopping here a little easier, especially during the busy fall season. Yes, the line can get pretty long, but don't let that discourage you! They're well-staffed and keep things moving efficiently, so even when it looks busy, you get your order surprisingly fast. The outdoor bench seating area is another plus. It's the perfect spot to take a little break, enjoy those warm, delicious apple cider donuts, and soak in the fall vibes before heading to the next stop.

There is so much to do, and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, and the desserts are amazing! We always have to get the apple donuts and a pie--they're a must for us! If you're looking for a place where you can fish, ride ponies, get your face painted, or pick up some delicious treats and goodies, I highly recommend making High Hill Ranch your first stop. It's a wonderful place for families, and it holds so many special memories for us.

I think I had…read morethe same idea as everybody else in the Sacramento region, it was a Monday and I thought it'd be a little less busy, but I didn't realize it was a holiday. There was a really nice selection of vendors. I bought a refillable card diffuser with essential oils and some little dried flowers in it. Super pretty, definitely kind of on the expensive side. But I have something nice to remind me of this day with my mom and my man. Every time I get in the car and it makes me happy. The apple cider donuts are really good. The line for them is very long, although it only took about 20 minutes to get to the front. We each got an apple cider doughnut and then we got one of the apple fritters to share. The donuts were really good, love the chunks of apple in the batter. I wish I had taken a picture of the fritter but oh my God I'll be dreaming about it until next year. Best damn fritter I've ever had. It was eight dollars so I thought that was kind of pricey until I actually saw it. It was the size of my head. It was so thick and yummy with big chunks of fresh apples in it. We sat at a little picnic table area next to a pond where there ducks and geese and a few people relaxing nearby. The bathroom situation is a little less than ideal. I know they've got to do what they can with the massive amount of people visiting in the fall. They've got a porta potty area set up, thankfully kind of away from all of the food vendors. It smells really damn bad within 50 feet of that area. I went over to wash my hands and I couldn't get away from there fast enough. Definitely go to the bathroom before you get there unless you wanna have to go into one of those stink bombs. I will absolutely be back for that fritter next year.

The lines were long but moved quickly. They were out of Apple Cider by 4 pm, but we ended up taking the Big Dill Pickles which were a delicious sample, a Bloody Mary Mix, Pickled Carrots, Honey, and some Garlic Stuffed Olives. The apple cider was also pretty good. The ciders weren't too strong, coming in at around 4.2% alcohol, so they were light and easy to enjoy. If you're more into beer, I highly recommend trying the apple beer! It was delicious, light, and not overly sweet. Definitely one of my favorites! Another great thing about visiting is that there's a pumpkin patch right by the farm, and everything is free! It's a cute spot to walk around and enjoy the fall atmosphere. This place gets pretty busy, especially during the fall season. Parking isn't too bad if you go at a good time, but expect traffic in the surrounding area. There isn't much seating available, so we ended up standing while enjoying our drinks. Pay attention to which line you're getting into! The line for pastries and food is separate from the line for drinks at the bar, so make sure you're in the right one before waiting. Overall, Boa Vista is a fun spot to visit if you enjoy cider, apple beer, and fall activities! Just be prepared for crowds and limited seating, especially during pumpkin patch season. I'd recommend visiting earlier to beat some of the traffic and enjoy everything at a more relaxed pace!

We came for the hard cider flights and for the most part they didn't disappoint (there was one of 10 that disappointed, but can't win em all). If I recall correctly, it's $22 for a flight of 4 out of 23 hard ciders (don't quote me on those numbers) so it's a bit pricey, but hey, tourist trap. The woman and man at the bar were really friendly. My gf had a Guinness sweater on, and the guy was trying to convince her /show her how to make a hard cider black and tan. We stuck with our original choices though. Tables and stools for seating. They were actually pretty comfortable. There was a group having a GREAT time playing Uno at the table beside us. We played Connect 4. It was a great, fun atmosphere. We'd definitely come back, but would do so on a weekday again to avoid the crowds.
