This is such a cute little place! Their hot cider is reasonably priced and takes off the chill on a cold autumn morning. However, plan to show up early! I've been here twice, but only hot cider once because they were so busy. There's a lot to look at in their barn but it is not enclosed, so prepare to be exposed to the elements. If you plan accordingly, though, this spot is one of my favorites on the Apple Hill trail.
This is one of those must-haves when you go to Apple Hill, if you don't mind the lines! Tons of seating as well as grassy areas to bring a blanket. The donuts are a must, ask for them extra crispy/double fried. Unfortunately this was the longest line I've ever seen this year, it took about 40 mins to get through the whole thing. Don't forget to grab a mini jug of apple cider too! They're so cute to reuse but also taste delicious with the warm donuts.
Rainbow Orchards is a good stop if you just want to sit and relax. You can enjoy the weather or have a nice chat with friends. They have a lovely seating area with a stage and seating right next to the parking area. The vibe was very chill and relaxed. They have a small shop where we were able to get hot and fresh apple cider donuts made to order. They were delicious! On a weekday, they didn't have a lot going on but they do wine tastings on the weekends if that is something you are interested in and we definitely enjoyed a break from our busy day relaxing in the shade of their orchard.

They also had caramel apples that you could take to go. Inside the barn, you had the chance to pick up other goodies like jams, jellies, and apples.

Beautiful area right next to Larsen Apple Barn. There is a nice picnic table area surround by trees, lots of parking and a great traffic flow to prevent any back up. Restrooms were nice. On weekends they offer BBQ options. Inside their main area are plenty of apples, cider, soda, apparel, jams, pies, etc for purchase. We'd go back here again even it is just for the donuts.

The donuts are amazing fresh and the cider tastes like fresh squeeze apples! Plenty of picnic tables to eat at and a clean restroom. Recommend visiting on a weekday to beat the crowds if you can.

They paired so well with the cider we got, which was European-style and on the drier side. Definitely worth the stop--we'll be recommending this place to anyone visiting Apple Hill!
I've heard great things about the apple cider donuts here, so this was our first stop on a recent trip to Apple Hill! The donuts did not disappoint, they were delicious! They came out hot and fresh and were so soft. Prices were not bad but service was a bit slow since they make them right when you order them. We didn't mind waiting, but we came on a weekday and there was hardly anyone else there; surely they have a faster way to get donuts out when they are much busier on weekends. We enjoyed hanging out on their beautiful property while we ate. We also purchased a bag of pears for later. There's not much to do at this farm compared to others, but it's a nice spot for donuts and a picnic!

PLEASE COME HERE!! They make their apple cider donuts TO ORDER so they come out piping hot. Everything on their menu is homemade! We also got their corn dog and hot link corn dog to try, as well as their hot apple cider. I don't even like cake donuts, but something about a freshly made HOT donut will do something to you!! It was SO soft, hot, and had a good amount of cinnamon to it which I really appreciated. Get your own and don't share, you've been warned! The corn dog batter is delicious! Crispy on the outside and ever so slightly doughy on the inside while still being chewy and soft--it was so good! Not to mention the actual hot dog tasted like it was all beef, not sure if it was, but it definitely wasn't a Bar-S hot dog if you know what I mean! The hot link corn dog was my FAVORITE. Had a GREAT snap when bitten into and had a very small kick to it. I wish it was spicier but that's okay! I love a good corn dog. The hot apple cider was on the sweeter side, it was good on that chilly day but I most likely wouldn't get it again next time because it was a bit too sweet. You have to stop by Rainbow Orchards. Line moves fast and service is great. Also the trees everywhere make a great photo opportunity! read more

Yes! You need to make it here. This out of approx 8 stops was our favorite! I wish I had this hot link corn dog. But we did have their delicious fried to order doughnuts! Yum! I highly suggest to wait to eat until you get here. I wish we had! Service was great & place is cute! read more

Rainbow Orchards is a great place to stop for lunch! So many great items on the menu and places to sit outside. Apple cider donut, hot apple cider, and apple crisp were all delicious. The wait wasn't too long and you can see the workers making the donuts in the back. read more

Our favorite farm at Apple Hill. This place is lovely. It's calm, it's open, they have amazing pies, donuts, apples, cider, and jams. The folks who work here are quick and courteous. The parking can be hard to find, but since most people leave quickly, it's not problematic. read more

Apple season at Rainbow Orchards is a great place to visit. Delicious Apple Cider donuts, baked fresh and warm. They go great with their homemade apple cider or steaming hot coffee. They also have a great selection of pies, by the slice or whole. Lots of apples and other fall fruits. Outside they have picnic tables nestled around hay bales and room for kids to play and enjoy the surrounding trees. A great way to start the fall season. read more
Apple Hill season again it's a tradition we have now to go with our friends each year. We go to different orchards and farms. Rainbow Orchard is always our first stop for the amazing apple cider Donuts and apple cider drinks. We have had their corn dogs in the past also very good. They have picnic type tables, many set out under the trees. They do not have the outhouse type restrooms at this location. It's a lot better then the outhouse. But reminds of like your local park type restrooms. read more

I think this was one of the best places I've been to in Apple Hill Farms. The line was long but went reasonably quickly. However, the most amazing part were the apples cider donuts!! I usually hate donuts, and I wanted to try it just to experience the famous pastries that were from this farm. I was, instead, obsessed with the donuts, that I was contemplating getting back in line to order another dozen. They were warm and yummy and I don't have the words to describe how good they are. Had some of the greatest apple cider donuts of my life at this orchard!! Came here specifically to pick up donuts and a little jug of apple cider, and wow, we loved them! It was my husband's first time tasting real fresh apple cider donuts, and I wanted to make sure he had the best experience. I haven't tried any of the other orchard's donuts, but this is definitely a solid choice! There are scattered tables around the orchard for visitors to sit and hang out, with one part of the orchard having a shaded area where tables are situated. Otherwise, they're available all around the outside area. Just beware that not all of the tables are adult size, so the few kids tables scattered in might fool you. All in all, we had such a good time here. We got our donuts and cider, played on the tractors, and hung out in the sun for a bit. Will definitely be back again, and hopefully before the season ends! read more

Navigating through Apple Hill can be overwhelming but as someone who has grown up going almost every Fall since I was a toddler, I think it's safe to say we've got our system down. For the best, fresh, warm, mouth watering Apple cider donuts - this is the place to go! It's not even a competition between them and other places. They make your donuts fresh as you order it and it's not overly sweet either. Their pies aren't too bad either but are a tad pricey. Their unpasteurized apple cider is also one of our favorites (for us, the other orchard that's tied with them for best apple cider would be Larsen). Rainbow Orchards is a must visit for their fresh donuts and refreshing cider. The views are also nice too when you sit outside! Can't wait to come back! read more

This place has the famous apple cider donuts. They are very good. There are some other things for sale and they have a nice outdoor area with picnic tables. It gets very busy but it's worth stopping by for an hour I wouldn't wait if it's crowded. read more
The stage and sitting area are great. We tried the donuts and they were warm and quite delicious. We tried the cider but we did not like this much, but we ordered a couple of sangrias and that was delicious. It was almost closing time and the bartender brought us like 4 cups of the sangria which was very cool and we quite enjoyed that on this warm day. 5 for service and vibe, donuts fantastic so 4.5, did not try food, cider not our flavor profile but sangria solid 4. read more

This is a Fall family tradition--we love this place. It can get crowded early on the weekend mornings, so arrive 5-minutes early or right around opening time. If you get here at 9, you'll be like 10-15th in line. The line goes fast though. Lots of seating and space for little ones to run around. The donuts are amazing. We get a dozen to take home. read more

If you like apple juice, Rainbow Orchards is the best place to purchase apple juice. They have the best blend of apples to make a great tasting , naturally sweetened juice. If you come at the right times, you can see them pressing and bottling the juice through a window. They also sell a bunch of pastries in their bake shop including apple doughnuts. They have other items for sale as well such as jams, hard ciders, apples, pumpkins and some crafts. They have BBQ area behind the barn if you want to grab some lunch and picnic in their large picnic area. For me the main thing we come here for is their apple juice. We usually will purchase 1 gallon for each of us. They used to have samples of their apple juice, but this year they don't have it for some reason. Stop in here if you are an apple juice fan. read more
Tucked next to Larsen Farms, this smaller establishment still packs a lot of punch for available products. A full array of apples, pies, and many other apple related things is complimented with lots of produce and interesting offerings. Essentially housed in one large barn type building, it is fun to wander and see what items you may want to take home. There's plenty of parking, and everyone is super friendly. read more

I love rainbow orchards. I feel like it is a little farther off the road, but it is so cute and open here. The apple cider donuts and apple cider here are also, in my opinion, the BEST and the line for them confirms it. There's always a huge line but it does go pretty fast for how long it is. Worth the wait!! Only thing is, hard cider was not in the cards for me. Everything tasted way too hoppy- more like beer than cider and the sangria was good but pretty standard. read more

There's a persistent battle of the best apple cider donut over at Apple Hill (very epic-sounding indeed) and the apple cider donut here is a strong contender simply just because it's made-to-order; I've gotten apple cider donuts elsewhere in the area that were cold and actually kinda dry/stale! Love how crispy, delicate, and flavorful the apple cider donuts are here. I visited in early September when apple-picking season hasn't quite started. Fantastic timing for me because the ambiance was very tranquil. Sitting on a bench among apple trees enjoying a freshly-made apple cider donut, yum yum. Not many other features here and I wished that there was an extensive hot food menu as it would've helped lengthen my leisure stay! read more

Is it true this orchard is nut-free? Someone on the Spokin App Recommended saying the owner's husband is allergic to nuts and that there are no nuts, and the food is safe for people with nut allergies. Would love a response from the owners.
Rainbow does use almonds in its cream cheese tarts and also sells walnuts. So facility is not nut free.
