Apple crisp mini pie
M D.

Dabble in some apples!! Sunday 9:45am no wait because they open at 10am lol, but the ladies were nice enough to help us out and take our order!! Food: We bought 2 frozen mini apple crisp pies. They are perfection and delicious !!! There are plenty of other flavors and pies that are frozen or you can order freshly baked pies to eat. There are two different buildings right beside each other. The Apple bakery is on the right and the Apple pantry with frozen pies and Jams is on the left. If you don't see anyone just go to the bakery and say "hello." Oven instructions: we bought 2 pies in case we messed up the oven instructions. The 1st time we followed the instructions, but the pie didn't seemed cooked or hot enough ( all ovens are different) the 2nd time we increased the temp to 375 and left it in the oven for 1 hour. We then let it cool for 20-30minutes. The second time was so much better and how it was intended to be. My husband and I devoured these pies lol. In the pictures is the type of oven we have (GE oven) Other: $$$$ cost of pies increased throughout apple hill farms which is understandable. I love helping out locally owned businesses! Not a lot of parking available from what I could see Takes credit card *apple hill is such a great place and we will be back again before Thanksgiving

Lots of foliage this time of year (10/29/21)

Off the beaten path of other Apple Hill Farms, Apple Pantry Farm is a small, unassuming little farm stand with a bake shop and small gift store. It's a scenic drive to get here and they're set up with small tables to enjoy your goodies. I really loved some of the hand crafted items they had for sale and they even featured a local artist selling her wares at one of the tables. Cute stop and worth a drive out here in the fall to enjoy the scenery en route. Review #61 of 100 review goal in 2021

Craft store and picnic area at Apple Pantry Farm

We weren't keen on the big crowds at the biggest orchards over the weekend. Apple Pantry was perfect: delicious dutch apple pie, wonderful personal service, and a very pleasant place to bring a picnic and enjoy it with a piece of pie. For those who live closer by, there are plenty of take and bake pies available, too!

My honking piece of Apple crisp...yummy!

Best, best, BEST place in Apple Hill for a slice of pie. And there's not just one pie from which you can try; it's pie nirvana here! Their shop sells a ton of whole pie options for you to take home and indulge. Not sure what you'd like to buy? Wander on over to their awesome little bake shop, which is staffed by the friendliest people EVER in Apple Hill history, and order up a slice of the various pies they offer up. Hubby opted for the classic apple (best we've ever had!), while I went for the apple crisp (I loooove streudel crumble topping!). Both were excellent; we could have gotten them a la mode and/or with caramel cider sauce (we preferred "purist" style) for no extra charge (unheard of in Apple Hill!); we could have gotten them warmed up, but wanted them as-is. Our $1 cups of cider were delicious, refreshing, and nice and cold. Yummers! I cannot wait to try the Dutch apple, or blackberry apple, pie. And I must have missed seeing the pumpkin butter, because I looooove that stuff...oh well, gives me good reason (not that I needed it) to come back here :) We are ALWAYS going to hit up Apple Pie Pantry when we go to Apple Hill. If you haven't been, you're missing out. If you wanna be the favorite relative at your next Thanksgiving, bring a couple of Apple Pie Pantry's pies!

The atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, so it's easy to settle in and enjoy a casual meal before continuing with the rest of the outing. Our favorite part of the visit is the flower trail. We like walking around, taking in the scenery, and stopping to snap a few photos along the way. It's a peaceful place to appreciate the landscape and capture some memorable pictures. Not to forget it has bakery store and other vendors for quick shop around. Overall, I think Apple Ridge Farm makes a worthwhile lunch and photo stop during an Apple Hill trip. Between the pleasant meal, peaceful flower trail, and beautiful surroundings, it adds a relaxing and enjoyable touch to a day trip.

Calling it a trail is a bit of a stretch. There were a lot of food options, but I just wasn't really feeling any of them. It was all burgers and hotdogs and I think there was a BBQ place. We went inside a pastry shop that looked pretty dang good though. There was a store with a lot of Christmas themed decor and they had frozen chicken pot pies. I would've loved to have brought one home, but unfortunately this was not our last stop of the day and I had no way to keep it cold in the car. I did really enjoy the area where all the vendors were set up. I got the cutest pair of fall leaf earrings for five dollars that were handmade and some really tasty spicy cheese, crunchy corn snack. I wouldn't be opposed to returning, but I'm not in any rush too. Lots of places in Apple Hill to check out.

The folks working here were nice and served us quickly. We will absolutely return next year!

I put in "Boa Vista" for my location because of the billboard I pass by off the 50. There was A LOT of people there for the Sat, live music at another venue. I recommend getting there early before it gets so packed and hot. Be prepared to walk from parking area. The lines were kinda long but they moved fast. Lots of tasty ciders and samples to try. You can leave with fresh pies to bake and fresh juices/ciders etc. The pumpkin patch was set up super cute with different slogans and plenty of photo ops. There was a cute train ride and so many vendors. Definitely a must see, young or old, but especially if you have kids.

Beautiful views that trail wrap around vineyards- the entrance is breathtaking! Small pop up booths of local vendors surround the orchard with cute gifts and souvenirs for the harvest season. They also have a fruit stand- & i love fresh fruit but the majority of the fruit here was split open and looking dull or brown in appearance like it was close to expiring. The lines were long for the cider donuts & sadly it didn't move fast. So I never got to try to cider donuts bc when I went it was almost one hr from closing. A lot of the pies were sorted through and the ones left were scattered in type and limited so decided not to take one home. And it was overall a smaller, more crowded stand then I expected with limited variety. Im sure they have great cider donuts- but I would recommend getting here first thing in the morning. This seems to be one of the more popular stands and parking can become complicated. I will have to give it another try to see a true experience because I feel like I didn't get to gather the true festive experience here.

One thing worth mentioning is that the parking lot attendants were helpful in directing us to parking and navigating the busy lot. With so many people visiting during the fall season, having someone guide you definitely makes it easy. Another highlight for our group was the taco truck! The tacos were great, and everyone enjoyed grabbing a bite to eat. The first 3 times I came, the place is always packed because it's usually a weekend. Their drinks are good too, especially the apple cold foam coffee. This last time I went, which was a Thursday morning, a few colleagues met there to do our monthly meeting. The owner was outrageous with their constant complaining about us meeting there. We weren't advertising a business, nor were we taking up space from other customers... We have a monthly get-together and try to support other local coffee places, once a month. Usually business owners appreciate us tagging them to give them a courtesy shoutout. Apparently that made this owner upset. I know they don't need the advertisement, as it's a touristy type place, but to actively get upset and send a rude message on Instagram, and personally call the gal on her cell phone while we were there was wild. Couldn't even bother to come out and talk with us. I guess you need permission to meet with your colleagues for coffee at a coffee spot. Oh well, we won't burden them with our support / money again. Aside from that, there was 1 other thing. I ordered a vanilla latte. It was $6+, which is not out of the ordinary, but then I was asked "do you want milk in it?" I thought that was odd, but I said yes, of course. When it was ready for me to pick up, they told me I could put creamer in it at the stand behind me... I said creamer? It's a vanilla latte ..? They said oh you got rung up for a drip coffee. Are you kidding, $6 for a basic drip coffee? They remade it for me, as they should, but I couldn't believe how expensive it was. On a positive note, their apple coffee cake is great.
