We weren't advertising a business, nor were we taking up space from other customers... We have a monthly get-together and try to support other local coffee places, once a month. Usually business owners appreciate us tagging them to give them a courtesy shoutout. Apparently that made this owner upset. I know they don't need the advertisement, as it's a touristy type place, but to actively get upset and send a rude message on Instagram, and personally call the gal on her cell phone while we were there was wild. Couldn't even bother to come out and talk with us. I guess you need permission to meet with your colleagues for coffee at a coffee spot. Oh well, we won't burden them with our support / money again. Aside from that, there was 1 other thing. I ordered a vanilla latte. It was $6+, which is not out of the ordinary, but then I was asked "do you want milk in it?" I thought that was odd, but I said yes, of course. When it was ready for me to pick up, they told me I could put creamer in it at the stand behind me... I said creamer? It's a vanilla latte ..? They said oh you got rung up for a drip coffee. Are you kidding, $6 for a basic drip coffee? They remade it for me, as they should, but I couldn't believe how expensive it was. If the 10" pies are too large, then go for the pie turnovers. The coconut doesn't come in the 10" size, but there's the turnover. My friend got the apricot turnover, and it was filled with fresh slices of fruit. Delish to the max. Also, I've been scouring for apple butter, exactly like the ones found in Texas.
