My wife wanted to surprise me with a custom cake for my 50th birthday. My wife and Tiffany collaborated over email to come up with this amazing design! I was so blown away by the details they put into this cake! Each side was a different flavor (the chocolate was fantastic!) The "Powerslave" font matched exactly as well as the Iron Maiden logo. I was not able to try the food or coffee so this is a review on my experience before walking out. I'm not sure what the appropriate rating would be for an experience like this. I had seen some recent posts about this bakery and was excited to try it out. My mom and I made a special trip to town just to go there. Its located in the center of a larger building that has other buisnesses inside. We walked up, noticed they didn't have too much to choose from, it was about noon, but they did have a few treats there that we wanted to try, so we waited for someone to grab our order. One man was ahead of us, already ordered, and was conversing with the girl icing a cake while the other scrambled to make coffee. Just two girls working. Neither one of them acknowledged we were standing there and completely ignored us for the entire time we had been there. Not even a "hi, we will be right with ya " ..just awkwardly ignored us. Another man had came and had been standing in line behind us. After about 10 minutes of kind of just awkwardly standing there in silence, ignored, We decided to leave, and just as we walked up to the door to leave the entire vicinity, about 30 seconds after we walked away from the counter. One of the girls met the man standing behind us with a "hello" so loud it echoed through the building. Can't help but feel like they waited for us to leave, Intentionally. read more

Our wedding cake from Sweet Pairings was probably by far our best experience in planning our wedding. Our cake tasting with Tiffany was fun and personal. She made a generous variety of samples for us to try and provided expert advice based on our guest count and plans. Not only are her cakes incredible (she frosts with Italian buttercream, which is both airy and rich without being overly sweet), but her pricing was also more than reasonable. We really lucked out. She made us a two-tier cake and 125 cupcakes (let us choose 4 flavors without charging extra) and came to our wedding site and set everything up using some of our wedding flowers. Gorgeous, as pictures prove. Hint: her earl grey lavender cake is genuine heaven. Man, we were and continue to be so impressed and pleased. If I lived closer I'd stop in for treats at least weekly. read more

I smelled great smells when I walked in for an appt in another area. It was only early morning and I hadn't eaten so excited to try out the cinnamon rolls that smelled delicious. I got up to the bakery case and there was very little in there. Two dried up looking cinnamon rolls that were obviously overbaked and some other cookies that looked dry with almost burnt edges and some chunks of banana bread. I felt a little embarrased just to walk away after I stood there so long waiting as the cashier chatted away to the guy in front of me while the other worker ignored me. Should have gone with my gut and walked. I bought two slices of the banana bread. It was so tasteless and dry that I threw it away when I got home. The second piece my son ate half of and tossed. It was terrible. Barely tasted like any banana was in it. It was pale yellow. And dry and over baked. I won't go back . From review I saw maybe she is better at cake baking? If you look at my reviews I very rarely post negative reviews. I love to praise good service and great products as people work hard. But this was a disappointment. read more

Could not have asked for anything better than the mini cupcakes Tiffany made for our wedding. The tasting was very personal and she let us try multiple flavors. One of the cupcakes was a chocolate wine one, and they let us bring in wine from our winery to have in it. On the wedding day she came in and set everything up for us. The display was great. She even made three large gluten free cupcakes for a few of our guests who were gluten free. And even their non-wedding pastries are delicious. Overall love their pastries and would recommend them to anyone. Or to just go in and have a cookie. read more

This bakery recently catered a wedding I attended, and let me tell you that the dessert table was absolutely DELICIOUS. I tend to favor savory foods and opt out of desserts all together, but these baked goods had me returning to the dessert table over and over. Everything was perfectly sweet (not too much, not too little) and very well presented. My favorites were the lemon bars, mini banana cream pie, vegan chocolate pie, and blueberry scones.
