Other cheese shops I have been to have a more welcoming sampling experience. There were also crackers, spreads, chocolate and teas available for sale. I was interested in one of the chocolate and mint teas, and was going to purchase, but it was $15, so a little steep in price for me. I did some crackers and two types of cheese. Our first stop was Boa Vista, where we headed straight to the pumpkin patch. There were so many pumpkins in different shapes and sizes! Prices ranged from about $8 to $20, depending on the size you choose. There are also little shops across the street and a BBQ spot right across from the pumpkin patch. From Boa Vista, we drove about a mile to High Hill. High Hill is bigger and has even more little vendors to explore. There's a pony ride for the kids, a pond where you can fish or simply sit back and relax, a fudge factory, and shops selling beer and cider. Of course, we couldn't leave without treating ourselves to some goodies! My husband got a slice of apple pie, and I got a cinnamon donut. Both were delicious! The entire area smelled like cinnamon and apples, which instantly reminded us that fall is finally here. The weather was absolutely perfect, with crisp air and everyone dressed in their favorite fall outfits. It was such a beautiful day to walk around, enjoy the scenery, and make memories with our corgi. We were lucky enough to find parking at both locations, but I highly recommend coming early! After 11 a.m., the traffic was terrible, and parking spots became hard to find. If you haven't visited Apple Hill, I definitely recommend adding Boa Vista and High Hill to your fall bucket list.
