4.5 stars. Of course, Starbucks restaurants are known for their coffees, but I do not drink coffee at all. I visited this Starbucks in Bakery Square to eat breakfast. The menu listed sandwiches, wraps, egg bites, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, croissants, muffins, scones, teas, juices, refreshers, etcetera. When I entered this restaurant, I waited for a few minutes until an employee greeted and served me. An employee correctly rang up my purchase and quickly made my breakfast sandwich. It was a simple egg-cheese-bacon sandwich, and it was fresh and hot and tasted very good. My bottled apple-mango-pineapple-acerola juice also tasted very good. Their prices were OK. I appreciated that this Starbucks contained many tables and chairs where customers could sit for hours to read books or work on their laptops. The air-conditioning was too cold, and a trash can could be added to one side of the room. The women's bathroom was clean. read more

But the best thing is it's the best drink that you can buy for under $20 a cup. I have been here SOOOO many times and only had 2 things wrong. There is a lot of seating inside compared to some other Starbucks I've visited. Bakery Square has become my go to Starbucks ever since the Forbes Ave bridge fell. I order ahead on the app so I can run in and grab it. Parking is a pain but most of the time I can snag a 15 minute spot out front. My chai tea latte is always perfect and the staff are so friendly. I will be back again and again! read more

This Starbucks is my absolute favorite in the city. It's very close to my work, and the Baristas quickly learned my name and my go-to order. They're fast, efficient, and always ready for a conversation. Not only are the people great, but this location is new, bright, and a great spot to work and study in. There are usually a couple open spots throughout the store, or you can opt to sit at the end of the bar and have some casual banter with the Baristas. This is a training location, so there are times when the new people are still learning the ropes, but it makes for a fun environment and an opportunity to meet and see some of the Starbucks folks before they go off to other locations throughout Pittsburgh. I recently moved to a nearby house and was thrilled to hear Bakery Square gained a Starbucks. It's not the most unique choice for coffee, but it's consistent and always a fine place to get work done. I stopped in earlier today for some nitro cold brew and was very impressed overall. The service was friendly and efficient, and my drinks were made particularly well. The space is a nice mix of communal work tables and smaller seating perfect for sitting and chatting. The bar and counter are stylishly crafted from light wood with everything behind the counter arranged in color coordinated groups. The stacks of Starbucks mugs from across the country were also a nice touch! An airy high ceiling and garage door front compete the space. I have a feeling I'll be a regular here. read more

Soooo usually when I come to this store I am greeted with smoles and friendly baristas or at least a hello . Today I walked in the store twenty minutes before closing hoping to order a Carmel ribbon crunch while I wait for Uber . No one smiled or even greeted me i was dead at the counter three feet away from two employees who seemed to be cleaning . no one ever even acknowledged that I was there and I think I spend entirely too much money to be treated that way . Great location for a new Starbucks! I am a huge West Elm and Anthropologie fan and enjoy coming to Bakery Square every month or so to do some shopping. I mobile ordered a cold brew while shopping on a Sunday several weeks ago and was surprised to see how packed the coffee shop was. I hope this Starbucks helps bring some additional restaurants and retailers to Bakery Square in the near future. read more
