This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Shadyside. I absolutely love the interior of this place, and there is always plenty of seating inside and outside. The coffees are no-frills, and I enjoy my oat latte here. I have never tried the pastries here, but they always look delicious. The surface is also quick and always friendly. Highly recommend this coffee shop.

No frills, sleek, modern design with plenty of two tops for working or meeting a friend. Excellent cortado. They have some refrigerated food, premade sandos and burritos, as well as pastries. Easy counter ordering, and relatively quiet spot. I'd definitely come back.

Great spot hidden in Shadyside to get some work done or just grab a quick coffee. My go to is always a cold brew and I love places that let you pour the milk for yourself to have the coffee just how you like it. This is a cute spot with lots of open seating indoor and outdoor. I thought this was such a nice spot to visit!

Great coffee, nice snacks and ambiance too! Tried to get seating but a ton of people come here to do work/study so be ready to take it to go. Their seasonal flavors are fun and yummy, especially the Jasmine syrup which is subtle, but great with coffee! Their almond croissant is quite big, could use a little more flavor m, but their drinks are truly where they shine!

Menu. Pretty pricy latte. Highest I've seen in the neighborhood

I came in here for a quick coffee on a weekday morning. Service was very kind. I won't say it was quick but it wasn't terribly slow. And I was the only drink that was being made at the time. My latte tasted good, I appreciate that, I don't think it tasted good enough to justify the price. I know Shadyside is expensive and I expect higher prices. But with the higher prices, I expect Better quality as well. This visit happened a few months ago an early spring and I have not been back since. There are a few other coffee shops in the area with better price:quality issues. On the other hand, it does look like a nice place to sit and study/work from home. Not too loud, great natural lighting.

Everything you could ask for in a coffee shop: good coffee, plenty of space/tables, outlets, bathroom, good wifi. The peppermint mocha is my favorite drink here: a good balance of cocoa, coffee, and mint. The chorizo breakfast sandwich (in the fridges and they warm it up for you) is surprisingly good and filling. This place is very conducive to working and I often study here. :)

This coffee shop was decent! The latte wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't the best I've had. I tried the apple muffin because it was vegan, but it wasn't good. It was a bit dry and you could barely taste the apple. The vibe of the coffee shop seemed cool though and it'd definitely be a great place to do some work. The workers here were very nice though!

Mechanic Coffee Company is a great coffee spot in Shadyside. The vibes are super chill and the staff is friendly. They have about a dozen small tables for two. At the counter, there's a small but tempting selection of baked goods, plus some grab-and-go sandwiches, burritos, and refrigerated drinks. I ordered my usual iced London fog with almond milk (flavored with vanilla syrup). It only took a few minutes to steep. While waiting, I enjoyed my chocolate-drizzled scone. Easy metered parking across the street makes it reasonably convenient. Overall, a solid spot for a relaxed coffee break or a quick stop before work!

Great, friendly service and great drip coffee (I do more drip than espresso). A wonderful coffee shop for working and meeting. Relatively reasonable prices. A friendly barista tole me about the roasterie in verona... still hoping to visit!

I love the location of this coffee shop. I like to come here while I do my laundry. It provides a nice little third place and the staff are always nice. The coffee is good and I love that they constantly have new specials.

I stopped by on Sunday afternoon with a friend around 1pm. We had no trouble finding seating and were able to order right away. I will note, when I asked for my croissant to be heated they said that they only had a toaster and panini press so they put my croissant in the panini press. It came out a little smushed but still delicious. It was a fairly quiet coffee shop with chill vibes. There was always people there but it was never noisy or overwhelming.

Matcha Latte with special touch from the barista!

Adorable little coffee/tea place in Verona with friendly staff. Stopped by after browsing at E.N. Miller Antique Mall and had a matcha latte and a London Fog. We sat outside in the sun and thoroughly enjoyed our drinks.

Service is fine, everyone is attentive enough and gets our order correct. The atmosphere is cozy but almost always crowded. The cushioned sections are fan favorites. The front has some wicker chairs and tables which are very small. As you move toward the back there are small sitting rooms where you take off your shoes and sit on a padded "floor". The back has some more chairs and tables. Outlets are hard to find. You most likely will share a sitting area as well. One note is, I think they have a wifi limit where only a certain number of people can connect. I tried all night to get a connection and could not for any of my devices, nor could my friend. Overall the ambiance is catered toward chatting rather than studying as the tables are very small and slow or no wifi. I like the night vibes it has though, we need more late night 3rd spaces like this one!! I got a hummus plate and ginger tea. The ginger tea was just okay. The ginger was overpowering in not a good way. It highlighted the spiciness of ginger without letting any type of "tea flavor" through. It tasted more like ginger water. For a tea house, I thought it would have more depth. The hummus platter was very yummy! The pita was warm and the olive oil on the hummus added a nice touch to it. I think I would have enjoyed the experience more had the tables not been as wobbly, the WiFi worked at any point, the tea had a bit more nuance to it, and the cloying smell wasn't there. It is a very good chatting spot for late night meetings ups with great food!
