I visit various Starbucks locations on average about three times a day - I love the chain and most of the stores I visit. While this location is closest to my house, I had to stop going there for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches are ALWAYS frozen in the middle. That's a complete food failure. And, they just can't seem to get it fixed. read more

This location takes the award for the grumpiest Starbucks staff ever. I am a long time Starbucks faithful and every time I've gone into this one I've gotten attitude from one of the employees. Other reviews have also shown that instead of making people feel welcome they seem to want to drive customers away. The only thing they have going for them is their location. This was an okay starbucks. The lines tend to go slow and be long. Oddly after waiting forever, I felt really rushed with my order. I also know that sometimes customers can be difficult, but I felt like in watching the employees, there was frustration toward the customers with requests. I'm going to start off with not only am I just a delivery driver for a side job but I'm also a regular customer. I think this a important thing for your employees to remember. I went by about a hour ago to pick up for a customer. I saw the pick up waiting on a table which means I can pick up as stated on the uber app. Ive also picked up here quiet a few times, actually just yesterday and never had issues. Im not sure if the heavy set red head guy you have working the register was having a bad day or what but the second I walked in he was extremely rude. He was so rude I didn't even pay attention to who he was speaking to me or the customer at the register? I noticed he was yelling at me! To wait outside! Even tho the sign outside states order line or mobile order not uber eats or door dash picks. But the table inside says pick ups so I obviously walk in to grab the order on the table for someone to pick up! Im obviously going to yell at him back because 1 you don't talk to a woman like that 2! Give respect to get it! Let's remember were in the middle of a pandemic and a whole bunch of other crap living in California right now you aren't the only one going through hard times so have a little dam respect! I hope he gets a write up and you can review your cameras to verify everything im saying. i have the date and exact time if needed. You'll see how aggressively he comes at me while I never said anything until he came to me in a agressive manner. Did your rules for delivery pick ups change since yesterday? I'm so confused all the girls working the day before where nice. To top it off he rates me bad on the app for something he caused like I wouldn't come on here and write my own. Customer was NOT right??? I had WON a free drink with new Holiday receipt and guy at counter (shift leader) refuse to give it to me. He actually went as far as removing it from my card and asked me to call the 800 back of the card (where no-one ever answers) Really?! I just want my free drink promised to me. Great service everytime I've been here. Ordered 2 dozen pastries at the last minute and staff was friendly and helpful.

Not busy ordered 3 drinks. Instead of taking care the customer the girl is wiping the floor with a rag in her hand and messing with the drain from the sink. Still waiting and in a hurry to get back to work someone finally starts on my drinks about 5 minutes after I placed my order. I'm glad it was a different girl than the one that was playing plumber at the time. I feel like the paying customer should always come first! Went in today when it was pretty busy. An employee named Jenny was ringing me up and although it was busy she was very sweet and kept a smile on her face, they were out of my usual breakfast sandwich so she recommended another (slow roasted Swiss I believe it was) and I think I found my new favorite. While ringing me up another employee ( I couldn't see his name ) seemed to have been struggling and she was able to help him while helping me and taking down my orders and politely telling the people behind me she will be with them in a couple minutes. After ringing me and a couple people up I noticed she began to work on the foods and she got out as many as people including mine. Good job and thank you Jenny. This service met my standards but I believe they should maybe staff more people...wouldn't be as busy and the wait wouldn't be so long. The customer support may be sweet but getting my coffee on time so I could get to where I need to go faster would be a LOT better. :) read more

Overall good but SUPER SLOW. They had three people working and with a minimum of 5 orders waiting, 1 person was staying in the back, another was stocking stuff that didn't necessarily need to be stocked yet and the third person appeared to be taking their time making ALL the drinks. I much prefer independent coffee shops but I stop into this Starbucks 1 to 2 times per month. It's a cookie cutter Starbucks so not much to review. Starbucks has sucked the character out of neighborhoods, one is the same as the next. This specifc Starbucks seemed noisy even though it was not busy. The time before that a couple of bag ladies (one wearing purple surgical gloves?). were having their coffee before catching the #22 bus. Not begrudging bag ladies their morning Joe, just an observation. Who knows, maybe the two of them live in Los Altos Hills, hard to tell around here. read more

I live so close and I'm here so much that it feels like a 2nd home. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. I have my favorites, but they're all very pleasant people. The drinks are on point and the store is very clean. As a full-time college student, this is my go-to place for studies and homework. My only complaint is the lack of outlets that never seems to be enough. read more

These guys and girls that work here are Amazing! They are friendly, quick and gets everything right. Jenny is my favorite :)

This is my go-to Starbucks. Lots of the staff are transfers from the Mary-Washington shop in Sunnyvale, so lots of familiar baristas here as well. At this point they know me and my usual by name. It's nice to feel like more than just an order first thing in the morning. Definitely goes a long way in starting out the day right! read more

*This review is solely about the staff* I came in a couple days ago when it was relatively busy and there were three girls working. The one on the register was working very quickly to get all of the orders in and write them on the cups and she was doing a great job. She accidentally made a mistake when writing one of the drink orders and the barista "Alexia" overly reacted and demanded that someone tell her the correct abbreviation for the order. I felt bad for the cashier because she was doing her best under stress. Eventually "Alexia" pulled the cashier into the back and about 10 minutes later the poor cashier came out on her break crying. To be completely honest "Alexia" was being very disrespectful to both the cashier and the customers by the way she was acting. I forgot to mention that she also got a call from someone requesting a refund over the phone and when she ended the call, she laughed and said "Yeah right he thinks he's going to get a refund over the phone!" I was utterly disgusted by how this woman was treating her fellow coworker in front of customers and that girl did not deserve how she was treated. read more

One of the slowest and least friendly Starbucks locations I've been too. Been coming here almost every day and the same people can't even recognize me, get the name right or know my drink. Long waits for drinks especially when they get hit with bunch of blended cold drinks. My mom and I love starbucks , we decided to visit this new Starbucks since its near her work we honeslty expected a better service. I found it kinda rude of the barista to snatch the 2 coffee mugs my mom was looking at to see which one she was going to buy. My mom felt discriminated, if she would've gave me the recipt I would put her on blast. Just had the most unbelievable Starbucks experience. I made my order of a reserve coffee with this rather unfriendly cashier, then waited for a bit with no sign of my drink being made. I asked the barista if he had a reserve coffee coming, his reply was unbelievable: 'Oh do you have one coming? You can go make your order with the cashier right there.' Ok...so if my order is missing, it just had to be my fault cos I didn't order it? So he assumed I was trying to get a free drink somehow? I said: 'I already ordered it.' Then he said, without checking, that it should be coming then. I then said no, I don't see my cup anywhere, I just didn't see the cashier labeling my cup. It wasn't until then that he saw the label stuck on a surface somewhere in front of him, not on a cup...then he started to make it. So I guess he believed in the philosophy: 'When there was a dispute, assume that it's the customer's fault.' Pretty unbelievable. read more

Overall a.good store but I think the store needs to invest more time in training the batistas on drinks. The quality of drinks varies vastly depending on who is working behind the counter. On three separate occasions I had to throw out my capacinno because I ended up just getting a glass of steamed milk instead of a dry capacinno. I expect better and consistent quality of drinks from a Starbucks at such a key location in the bay area. Clark is the best Barista over there. Always greets you with a big smile and makes the perfect capacinno. read more
