I picked up a sandwich and coffee from this location this morning. I waited a long 15 minutes in the drive- thru to make the order. I wanted to scan the Starbucks app for the points/rewards yet since the barista took my card first for the payment, and the transaction was completed he said he cannot accept the app after the payment. I don't know if i should even put a review. Unbelievable. I mobile ordered 3 drinks yesterday 5/21. On the app it was estimated time 6-10 minutes. Once i got the notification from the app that my mobile order was ready, i went to this location to pick them up. I looked for my order so i asked where it was. The associate said "unfortunately we are so backed up with orders and the drive thru is wrapped around the entire building, it will be at least 30-40 minute wait bc of how many orders are coming in"... Like I understand but of thats the case, shut down the mobile ordering . I walked out with no drink, not only that, i lost $21.84.... We were in the drive thru and we wanted a (tall=small for Starbucks) Carmel latte. We ordered and when we went to the checkout and we got are drinks. We looked at the receipt and we realized we got a venti latte. We didn't go back inside but we needed to pay for it. Im from Michigan so I only come to this Starbucks when I am in town visiting family. They have fast service most of the staff are nice but i was accumulating points to get my free drink and the woman at the window today just scanned my card and did not offer to use my points on the free drink. Right after she scanned it I told her I would like to use it on my drink and she said I was supposed to tell her before she scanned it which is not true because at my other Starbucks in Michigan, they usually scan it and tell me I have enough points for the drink and ask if I want to use it. So I don't care that she didn't offer to use my points but don't put the blame on the customer when you made a mistake. read more

The Starbucks app has a place where the store can mark their location as open for in store or drive through only pickup. They constantly forget to change the settings and today is the 5th time in two months I have had to wait in a 45+ minute long drive through line because their app said that you can go inside and get your drink, I've arrived and they have closed the inside. Other than the service and my orders being made incorrectly, I wouldn't say this place is bad as the flavor is all there. Not a good experience sadly to say. Today Emily took my order and as i was telling her what drink i wanted she would quickly reply with an "anything else" with a huge attitude rushing me to hurry up after everything i would say. I found that very rude. I told her that i still had more if she could just not rush me and she keeped making sigh noises with very rude attitude. I also am in shock how this place has such low stars. They have the nicest staff and they are always in great spirits. I always go through the drive thru and since the moment they say welcome to Starbucks to the moment I get to the window, pay, and get my drink, the staff is smiling and making small conversation. This is becoming my go-to Starbucks on the long drive to work. The staff here are extraordinarily friendly - I have never been so consistently greeted with smiles at a Starbucks. The baristas are incredibly efficient; there can be 10 cars in line at the drive-thru but I have still never waited more than three minutes for my drink whenever I have gone into this particular location. When I am rushing to get to work, I truly appreciate that kind of speed. Perhaps part of the dynamic is due to what appears to be close relations between the employees. They often joke around with each other, and seem to genuinely enjoyed working together. I think it is sweet that this location offers a staff member of the month award, and actually shares a little biographic information with customers on an easel chalkboard. read more

I usually have a great experience here. My favorite barista is this kind blonde boy who is always extremely kind. Today, I was told by a co-worker that it was happy hour, so I decided to go after work. I went through the drive through and ordered a tall drink for my mother and a grande for myself. The barista explained to me that to qualify for the happy hour, the tall drink had to be a grande. I told her it would be fine to upgrade it to a grande. At the window, she took my card and added that the happy hour only qualified if I had a rewards card. I asked her I may have a rewards card and that I couldn't remember. She disregarded my comment and charged my card. I asked her how I would sign up for it and she completely ignored me. On the window, there is a green sign advertising their rewards program and it says "ask the barista." Unfortunately, my barista chose to ignore me. Extremely rude. So I ended up having no happy hour and an extra grande drink when my mother prefers tall anyways. read more

I am regular here on Sunday afternoons. I find the atmosphere relaxing and the seating is much larger than the one on Orchard in Aurora. That being said, lately I have been saddened by the lack of drive and energy and in the employees and particularly the manager. This place used to always be happy! I use to love coming here because the employees were happy... The other day I felt like a burden when I ordered my freaking pikes roast with a little bit of soy and few pumps of vanilla. First of all the barista over charged me and added the additional $.50 for the less than one ounce of soy and then when I went to get a refill, they charged me an extra $.50, and they didn't add the vanilla. I think the manager there is on a power trip. I've seen her instruct her team before in a controlling and not really uplifting way before, but today I got to encounter it first hand. Every few months I buy one of those bottles of syrup (Sugar Free Hazel Nut). I always get a bottle and a pump included in a Starbucks bag and it makes a nice gift. Today, dealing with her, she would not give me a pump. She said they HAVE them, but they never do that. What? I always get that. In fact, the guy in line behind me said he does the same thing. I told her, I was just going to go to down the street to the next Starbucks and get the syrup and a pump. She said I could try but she's worked at Starbucks for 6 years and they don't do that. I have to agree with the other reviewer, this is kind of a stupid parking lot. That being said, it's basically like every other Sbux. I happen to frequent this location because it's conveniently located on my way to work when driving from the bf's. The staff is always nice and they're pretty quick as well. The one sort of annoying thing is listening to the employees complain from time to time about tips when you go in to order. As someone that's worked in the service industry, I totally understand but a. you can't tip on plastic here, and b. save it for when there aren't customers in the store..I feel this is a common thing at places, but it's not good customer service regardless. I personally have no beef with them and will continue to patronize this location. Also, they basically always have fresh fruit cups which I find to be hard to come by at some locations... Eh. Definitely not 5 stars but not the worst. Would expect a place that has not even a full cup of coffee left would start brewing more to replace it. Seems like a bad manager. Was just told I would have to wait longer for more or get something else. Instead I got a full charge for a quad shot of espresso and was charged full price for it. Standard Starbucks serving standard Starbucks staples. The only thing differentiating any one Starbucks from the next is usually the staff and it's hit or miss at this location. Most baristas greet you and welcome your business. At this location however I am usually greeted by a combination of employees I have nicknamed "sleepy, dopey, and grumpy." That is not to say I am dissatisfied, it would be just nice to get the welcoming here as in other stores. read more

And then they said our sandwiches were "in the oven" and people coming in after us were walking out with sandwiches. Went into this Starbucks on September 21, 2014 , the time was around 1:20 p.m. I had the pleasure of having my grandson with me. I went into the inside of the business their was no one in line just myself and my grandson. We stood their a good 4 mins. Had an AWFUL drive thru experience. Paid with my phone and the Stbx app clearly said I had some rewards to redeem. When I mentioned it to the lady at the window she said I would have to use it next time. I said it's clearly on the screen. She said she doesn't have time to look at he screen? And then she said goodbye to us and basically dismissed us. Her comments were incredibly condescending. I was FLOORED. Like most Stbx locations it's hit or miss with staff etc but this woman was incredibly rude. I had my kids in the car so I simply pulled away.
