I came into this location about 30 minutes before closing- as a disclaimer, and I very much felt that I was unwelcome. End of the shift left the team very task focused, and there was not much concern for my experience. I greeted the team member with a hello- that went unacknowledged and instead I received a very dry request for my order to be placed. The food and drinks were fine, I did appreciate that the baristas clarified whether or not I wanted whip cream since I used a non dairy milk. I placed an order through the app this morning for pick up in-store. I arrived five minutes later and noticed that there was a large crowd waiting for orders, but the staff worked diligently to get those orders out in a timely manner. They were focused and the barista that handled my order was very polite. I was concerned about ordering too far in advance, rendering my food and drink cold, but I think I'll place it 12-15 minutes prior to my arrival in the future. I ordered a featured item, the Pistachio Latte with an almond biscotti and a bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich. The pistachio latte was soooo warm and delicious on this slightly snowy day and it paired perfectly with the almond biscotti being dipped in it! I was also very pleased with the sandwich. This is the Starbucks right by IUPUI, IU Hospital, and Eskenazi - it is BUSY. And yet, the staff always are in top of it. It probably helps that this location doesn't have a drive-thru. Plenty of parking but you must share it with multiple businesses, so it can get scarce depending on the time/day. Lots of people study/work here, but it's still rather small and mostly has tiny two-person tables and two long high-top tables. This is not a space I'd want to read or write in, personally. Love this starbucks!!! Baristas are always friendly and always on top of getting my drinks just the way I like it! Using mobile order is super easy and I never have to wait in line! Always pack here with college kids studying. I love this starbucks because its convenient to home and work. I would like to however review the unicorn frap and how awful it was! It's not at all baristas fault that the company is offering such a horrible drink, so I cant ding the baristas for making it. It was definitely unicorn poop and I cant believe I paid $6 bucks for a venti. Well note to future me to not fall for any of starbucks crazy stunts with crazy drinks call unicorn frap! This is a very nice and clean Starbucks. The staff is always very friendly and my drink is always made correctly. My favorite thing to get is the sweet cream nitro cold brew. I'm so glad this location offers this. The interior is nice however I wish it was a bit bigger and there were more tables to study at. Whenever I go there is almost never an open table. I felt so uncomfortable at this Starbucks location. I went in to order with my mom and my black step dad. The three baristas kept looking at him like he was gonna steal something. At first they didn't register that he was with me. Then my step dad accidentally grabbed a drink with his name but it wasn't his. There was someone else with the same name as him who came in after us, and the baristas kept making (loud enough) comments that I heard. I asked for extra sugar and one of them gave me a face. I told them loudly "excuse me can you say that slowly so that I can translate in Spanish for my mom" and they went quiet. Needless to say they were glad to see us leave the place. All Starbucks are not created equal! Jonah and his staff go above and beyond to make dropping $5 on coffee as amazing as it can possibly be. After a few visits, they will learn your name and probably your order. I've been going to this Starbucks for years! I can say it did its share on helping me graduate college. The staff is always great and the service is normally pretty quick, depending on what time of day you go. There have been plenty of times I've had to wait a while because the line is very long. They are pretty busy in the mornings and then again at lunch/afternoon. If you don't want to wait too long id go at a random time in the day, like 3pm haha. They have a good amount of seats there and they have my favorite--outside seating!! Those go really quick, so if you see a free table outside make sure to grab it right away! Other than that it's a normal Starbucks-nothing too crazy about it. Good for college students, trust me--they can help you graduate. Grab that Venti coffee and keep.it.moving! This is a place for people of all ages, from students to elderly to businessmen to kids and everywhere in between. Drinks are always made with care and they'll always try to get your name right. Went early in the morning and ordered my drink online but ordered a breakfast sandwich in person. I got my drink in good time because they were not busy but I waited 30 minutes for my sandwich. I waited by the counter once I got my drink to mention that I didn't get my sandwich but nobody said anything to me. When I walked up to the girl to tell her I'm never got my sandwich she told me "Oh our mobile order printer is broken." My wife and I come to this Starbucks (our preferred) at least once a week. They are friendly, fast, and a little wacky. Very much up our alley. I've seen people point out Jonah's name before and they are dead on. He's great. He calls us out by name every time without missing a beat.
