I was excited to stop by BIGGBY to pick up my birthday drink. I love that they offer a free birthday drink of any size--it's a great perk. I've been a loyal customer since the days of the physical member card, and even now that everything is digital, I still enjoy coming here. While I was there, the barista Marcus (I believe that was his name) was friendly and pleasant throughout my visit. I noticed some coupons displayed in the window and asked if I could have the coupon sheet to use on my return trip. This is not uncommon because they give these to customers to use. He was about to give them to me when another barista stopped him and said that the ones he was handing me were their last sheet. I was a bit confused, since the coupons were clearly displayed in the drive-thru window, and I wondered if more could simply be printed. When I asked, I was told they hadn't received additional sheets yet, so they couldn't give out the last ones. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any effort to offer an alternative or accommodate the request, which was disappointing. I ended up leaving feeling a bit uncomfortable despite the great service from Marcus. The lady wasn't very kind with her approach but denying me coupons to SUPPORT a local business wasn't on my bingo card for my birthday. This place is absolutely terrible and I would suggest everyone avoid this place at all costs. Nikki Spangler is completely destroying both locations and illegally firing employees for trying to leave under her management. She has illegally fired now 5 employees for either not receiving paychecks or simply talking about leaving. We cannot go over on food ordering without being reprimanded but the store on west main street is NEVR fully stocked. Want to know why your wait times and coffees taste bad? Because the new employees they're trying to replace the fired employees with are not trained properly and are thrown in to be warm bodies. Upper management cares more about the money in their pockets than the employees working for their store. I opted to go through the drive-through today. it is a little on the slow side This is my second time trying this location. their coffee is OK but for the price point it's just OK. I was hoping for a smoother tasting coffee. It has a bitter taste to it. I will likely try one more time. The past two times I have gotten specialty drinks. This is my favorite coffee shop! The staff and the management team are amazing! They are always very welcoming and friendly.They are helpful on recommending new drinks and flavors. The service is friendly but a little slow and lacking in accuracy. They offer different drink flavors than other places, but don't go if you are in a rush and be sure to reiterate your specifics in your order to get it right before you pull away. This was supposed to be a cookie butter steamer, but they gave me a latte (i.e. with coffee) and because I'm nursing, I need to be caffeine free. $7 down the drain. Kids' orders were correct , two hot chocolates, one with peppermint and another with cookie butter. Also, the donuts seem a bit dense and mushy. We may give them one more try. read more

Veteran owned! Good business. Sad part was the steaming part of the espresso machine was down during morning rush. The staff member at the register was very friendly, the others looked overwhelmed and not excited. I ended up getting an americano and it was extremely good. The right amount of espresso and water. I'm sorta glad the coffee was cold, because that obscured just how bad it tasted. Bad, cold coffee would be bad enough. But in addition to that, they refused to microwave my coffee to heat it up -- citing a holdover Covid policy that doing so would be unsanitary. To which I say: (1) it isn't, and (2) none of this would be a problem if your coffee was hot. They also refused to serve my coffee in my own (clean) mug -- citing another Covid-inspired policy. For that, I guess I should be thankful: If the world is gonna burn in flames environmental degradation, at least we'll be healthy enough to enjoy the show! read more

Finally got a chance to stop in and try the coffee I've heard so much about from several people. I got the butter beer latte and asked for oat milk. The drink was good, though there was no one standout flavor. I realized later that they don't offer oat milk as an option when you order online, so I'm not sure what milk was in my drink, but I ended up having issues. If they didn't have oat milk, they should have told me what options they do have so I can decide. Yes, I did forget that, but the staff said nothing when I asked for oat milk. read more

Not being from the area, I assumed this was a local joint but later found out it is a chain. Service was friendly but coffees - the 5 we ordered - were inconsistent. The pumpkin type lattes were way too sweet. We did order with extra shots and now wondering if that meant extra shots of syrup to them? We of course wanted extra shots of espresso. Today was a hot, steamy July day and I decided an Iced Chai Latte would be refreshing so I dropped in Biggby on Dan Jones Road. It is located on the South end of the Metro Diner Strip Center in front of Meijer. They have a drive up window which I would have preferred to use but the line was long. The staff was working quickly but folks just kept pulling in line so I parked and went in. I was greeted as soon as I entered and told she'd be with me in just a minute. I briefly revisited the menu on the wall and decided I'd stick with my Iced Chai Tea. The Lattes are served hot, iced or frozen (.50 upcharge) in 16, 20, 24 and 32oz. They also serve Creme Freeze Smoothies in 5 different flavors from Red Bull, Banana Berry, Dark Hot Chocolate, Strawberry Shortcake and Chocolate Chip Cookie Freeze. Many flavors of Teas and Hot Chocolate are also available. The menu offers a few types of Bragels (Ham & Cheese or Sausage Cheese and Turkey Havarti/Everything Bagel), Bagel and Cream Cheese, Yogurt Parfait and Bakery Goods including Donut Holes. The service was fast and friendly and while waiting for my Latte I found out what the delay was at the drive up. Of the 4 cars they served while I was there the staff had to recite most of the flavors to each car before they ordered. This was really delaying the drive thru line but the staff never seemed agitated as they kept repeating when asked what flavors do you have. The crew behind the counter worked well together, too. The couches are comfortable and it is quite enough to get work done if the traffic doesn't bother you. Stop by this reasonably priced coffee shop if you're in the area. read more

I so badly wanted this to be a 5-star review. I scoped out Biggby online before redirecting the RV and family to this location. The store was really clean...almost sterile, but bright and well-organized. 4 perky employees were ready to help and eager to take my order. I'm a bit high maintenance, so I ordered my normal drink (quad-shot, decaf mocha with soy milk) and waited patiently. I don't recall seeing "whipped cream" as a standard accompaniment to Mocha drinks on the menu, but could have missed it. Regardless, I'm allergic to dairy and would have expected them to confirm the addition of a dairy-product for someone who orders an alternative-dairy drink. That said, they added whipped cream - which I noticed immediately and they graciously apologized and offered to make a new drink. I felt terrible, but thanked them for their diligence and waited for my drink. Upon drinking my beloved beverage it become increasingly apparent that there was little or no espresso in my beverage. I don't know if they forgot to dump the espresso into the drink while remaking it...or maybe they only put a single shot in it...or maybe they were upset about having to make it a second time. I don't know - but it basically tasted like a hot chocolate with no espresso whatsoever. At this point, I had already left the shop and wasn't going back to ask for a 3rd attempt. I offer 3 stars as a consolation for a valiant effort. In the end, though, it comes down to results - and the result of this stop was an unsatisfied customer who paid a fair amount for a fancy drink that didn't meet his expectations. I would definitely consider going back to confirm my experience, but can't offer more than 3 stars at this point. read more

I went back in to Biggbys to get my daughter a frozen drink. I knew they had an orange dreamsicle drink. While I was there i saw a cold pumpkin coffee drink with milk on top for myself. First the staff here are very nice and quick at getting your drinks. I have always had a good experience with the wait staff here. The pumpkin cold coffee was amazing. I wasn't sure if I would like the cold coffee but it was the perfect balance of not being overly sweet in my opinion. My daughter loved her drink as well. Overall another great visit. read more

The service was honestly really disheartening because of the efforts you have to make in order to be a rude person - there was a guy in the drive thru lane taking the orders both times I went and was beyond rude, was too interested in finishing his conversation with coworkers to even take an order. This is the first Biggby Coffee I've ever been to. I'm impressed with their extensive menu of drinks and some food items. I'm not a fan of "the other coffee place", you know-the one at every interstate exit, and dozens of them in between. What makes Biggby different? Well, GOOD coffee for one; smiling, happy staff that don't condescend because you don't know their menu and the awesome variety so there is something for everyone. Still loving the Biggby. They are super generous with coupons, which cannot be combined with any other offers... just like every coupon in the world. I enjoy my rewards and my free drinks. They're super helpful about letting you know his close you are to a reward. In fact, the last time, my free drink fell on a day that they were offering a special, so they let me decide if I wanted to save my free coffee for a day when it would be full price. How nice! There are daily specials through the week. If you want a fast food sandwich that's awaiting your arrival this isn't the place. There's a McD's down the road. Nice coffee spot in Plainfield! I came here around 6pm on a Thursday evening and was surprised to see most of the seating filled. They do have later hours which is great for meeting with friends or groups as I was doing. The staff were nice and helpful. Almost all the drink options are iced, frozen or hot which is a neat and unique option. I had a hot mocha caramel which was tasty! The seating is limited but I found a table relatively easily. This location sign said it was veteran owned which is great to know for a small business. This place is for everyone- they had plenty of kids activities and mugs/shirts for purchase. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but their frozen mochas are delicious! We often get BOGO coupons in the mail ( with 3 of those and several 1$ coupons) and tend to come with a coupon. The reason I'm writing a review is because the folks that work there are so nice!! Great place that you can ask tons of questions and they don't rush you or make you feel stupid if you're not a coffee expert :) Ground coffee by the bag is good too. WAY faster drive thru than the Starbucks in Plainfield too. They have lots of options for caffeine and and non-caffeine drinks, smoothies, juices, and even some pastries. Honestly, as someone who usually just drinks a straight black coffee, the options are seemingly endless. Still, the staff behind the counter was patient and took their time to make sure I knew all the options available when I decided to try one of their specialty lattes. Great find that is full of fun colors and options! Staff was super friendly. I tried a caramel mocha latte drink which was pretty good but of course they were out of whipped cream. Also their drink sizes are on the large side (I believe their smallest latte size is equal to a Starbucks grande) so prices are comparable to other coffee shops. Their menu is pretty large and they even sell their own beans and other merchandise. I really like that their drinks options are different and unique compared to other coffee shops. I would like to try a smoothie next. A couple other things I noticed- they must have contests going on often as some of the employees were talking about a recent one where someone won coffee for a year. Also, I saw a sign that says you can bring in two food items to be donated to a local food pantry for a free drink next time you come in. The service deserves 5 stars but my drink was a 3.5 so we'll settle with 4 stars. I don't live on the west side but was in the area before work and had always wanted to stop in so this was the perfect opportunity. Some reviews recommended going in to order because the drive-thru line can take a while. I'm glad I did. I was out before most of the cars in the drive-thru. Everyone working was very friendly! I could tell they were smiling through their masks. I checked out the menu online before going and it's very extensive. They have tons of latte options. They only offer soy milk as a milk alternative so keep that in mind if you prefer/need an alternative. I tried a 10 oz. honey, cinnamon, vanilla latte. One thing I noticed was the high calorie count on each of their drinks. If you want a low cal drink, stick to coffee. The 10 oz. drink was $5.45, which was steep for the size. I probably won't stop in again since I don't live in the area but if you're looking to try a fun drink and want great service, check it out! read more

Yay Bigby has finally made it to the Indianapolis area! I have heard so many good things from my friends out of state that I just HAD to come here and try it out. First off, EVERYONE in there...and I do mean EVERYONE was friendly to us, spoke to us, and asked us about our day. They were genuine, and it didn't seem forced. That was pretty amazing! I had the pumpkin spice latte, and get this...you can get it FROZEN! Yes!!! I am not a huge fan of hot coffee drinks when I have something to eat (which I did), so having the option to get my drink concoction frozen was a definite plus! It was rich. Not pumpkin overload as there were also two shots of espresso in it (I think they might have put that in there especially for me since I requested it to be high octane, but not sure). It was still rich and delicious and had whipped cream on top. I also chose to get some sort of chocolate cream cheese muffin pastry sort of thing. Mmmmm. Loved it! Definitely tasted fresh. Before leaving, I spoke to the manager and told him how awesome I thought everything and everyone was. My personal PSA: If you have a good experience at a restaurant, PLEASE also bring that to a manager's attention. They deal with crappy people all day and could surely use the positivity. I live and work downtown, however I will be driving out of my way to get a Teddy Bear (Frozen) and some Coffee every so often. Cult Following?... maybe! No shame. Biggby is known for their drinks and treats. Usually their stores make it possible for studying or socializing between friends. The staff is usually so friendly and love to interact with people. This place is great! The owner is super nice and friendly. Both the times I have been here he's made suggestions and just chatted for a bit. The coffee prices are similar to Starbucks, but the sizes are different. Their cups start at 20oz and just get bigger! So. Much. Coffee! I like the Mint Mocha here :) both hot and frozen! I always enjoy stopping by Biggby when I'm in town. My husband got a hot mint hot chocolate which he enjoyed. I tried a hot Avalanche which is white chocolate, mocha & mint which I thoroughly enjoyed, too. It was Saturday so they were busy Inside & out. The baristas had great customer service considering they had trouble understanding what a customer wanted (he was very hard to understand). Always remember to have a smile & be kind. This is a solid coffee shop with a lot of options. I tried the iced caramel mocha latte and my husband tried the iced mint mocha - both were really good and pretty sweet (which I like but I know some people don't care for, so watch out). My favorite thing about the drink is that the coffee flavor shined through. It tasted like a coffee chocolate milk. Refreshing and tasty on a hot Indiana day! We noticed after ordering that there are a lot of drink options with honey in them - I probably would have tried one of those had I seen the sign before ordering so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying out some more drinks!
