Today was my second visit in as many weeks. Last week, my Frap was weak on flavor and seemed to be not well blended. I also ordered a tall, house blend. When I drove up to the window, they handed me an iced coffee. This week, they got the coffee right, but when I arrived at my destination, a mile away, I was unpleasantly surprised that they had left giant chunks of ice in my, again, weak flavored Frap! Today was half-price espresso... I knew that it would be busy so I ordered my caramel Macchiato online. It took me longer to find a parking spot than it did to get my drink. Today was my first visit to this Starbucks. I went to meet a friend, and when she arrived, there was a sign on the door saying they were closed due to safety concerns. I have no idea what that was about, but they were serving via the drive through. By the time I arrived, they'd removed the sign and let people in, so we could still sit and hang out. But I have no idea what that was about. Kind of a weird start to a visit. The staff was really friendly, though they seemed to be slow with making the drinks. My hot tea took a solid 8-10 minutes to be made, which is unusual. The food and beverage case had a nice variety of food (sandwiches, salads, etc) and bottled drinks that I typically don't find at the Starbucks locations I tend to frequent. Definitely a plus for this one! The interior has a lot of bar type seating, which made good use of the space. Pretty convenient location off of 31 and we were in the drive thru pretty quickly. The service was okay and the fall drinks we ordered hit the spot! I have been inside of this location before as well and they have some nice seating inside and outside. There is a light next to it so it's pretty easy to get in and out. read more

This is probably my fav Starbucks on the south side. It's always warm inside, which is nice during the winter. Of course, do note that occasionally it get too warm (usually late evenings when the heat is still up but fewer people opening the door so less heat escapes). I never order complicated drinks, so I can only attest that they pour coffee and hot water well - lol. Great environment with tons of outlets, so it is ideal for laptops. Seating area is small (an issue with all the south side Starbucks locations) so you have a long counter with 14 chairs, one tall long table for working (multiple outlets in table) that seats 8, two lower tables that seat 4 each, and two high small tables that seat 3-5 (but the table is so small only enough space for drinks). Bought this mug at a starbucks. Within a few weeks the lid broke. I went into a local store (not the one I purchased it from) and was told by the manager there was nothing she could do locally, but to call the 800 number and ask for customer service. The agent told me starbucks does not warranty anything they sell. NOW THAT IS GOOD BRANDING RIGHT!!! He did offer to replace the cup if I could produce a receipt. Does anyone keep their starbuck receipts. Someone at corporate should be VERY happy with the way their branding has tanked over the last few years. If they are wandering why...come see me. The Brand is becoming know for instances like this!! I will say the people I talked to both in the store were empathetic and professional (NO ISSUES THERE), but I still have a cup with a broken lid and POOR starbucks corporate branding all over it. read more

I try to like this location, I really do. But I don't believe I have ever gone here and not waited more than 10-15 minutes for a drink. While I understand there are busy times in the coffee business, I feel this location just can't quite figure out efficiency. Sadly, I waited 10 minutes in line to get to the register and another 20 for my drink. All came out fine. Thankful for that. As far as Starbucks go, this one is pretty great and pretty typical. They always get my drink quickly for me and the staff is really nice. Even when there is a long drive through line, it moves really quickly. Something that is important to know about this Starbucks is that it is small. There is not a lot of seating space, so I would not suggest going to this location for a meeting or to be with friends. It is likely you will not be able to sit anywhere in a group. They do have window seating. This is usually where I sit when I come here to study and do homework. I like this spot because it is the perfect height to stand up and work! I would also suggest wearing a sweater or some layers because I am always chilly here. As always, I suggest getting a "for here mug" to make your Starbucks experience more cozy! read more

Ok. The positive: my drink was hot (black coffee) and my cookie was good. That's what the 1 star is for. Cons: I walked in and the floors looked like they hadn't been swept all day (it's 1:30). The walkway to the bathroom was really dirty. Footprints, trash, messy rubber floor covers. The bathroom... the toilet had rust stains (that doesn't happen when you clean the toilet daily), and there was no soap coming out of the dispenser. Gross. So, the place was dirty. Also the guy took my order (hot black coffee and a cookie), then immediately took two more orders without getting my stuff. One of them was outing $59 on 10 gift cards! He only remembered after I wandered back up to the register.There were two girls talking by the cookie case not helping at all. I will not go back. read more

I get a Trenta Vanilla sweet cream cold brew every day with extra shots and I asked for extra vanilla sweet cream on the side and they want to charge me extra for it. Triston came to the window drive through and said he is the shift Mgr and told me I have to pay extra for it. I think this is very petty that I pay 12.04 every day at this place and get different people make it different ways and never taste the same. Some in their have no idea what they are doing and have no clue of making drinks, so before you start wanting to charge me extra I think it's best you have better training how to make them, I think asking just to remake the drink and waste product is as petty as you asking me to pay for extra. A Starbucks! But what's important about this Starbucks when compared to other Starbuckses (is that the right plural?) is that it is open 24-hours. Now, caffeinated beverages at odd hours of the morning might appeal to a limited crowd, but it's a wonderful place to hang out, or even grab a scone. The staff here is friendly, as it's kind of slow at 3am, and the chief crowd is from the local university stopping by for the myriad of reasons a college student has to want coffee. The ambiance is like all Starbuckses's, you've seen it before. This one is a little nicer than most in that the walls are plain colors and no bizarre artwork is looming down at you. Service is prompt unless it's really busy, and they're always willing to remake a drink for you if the first one was done incorrectly, or even if you merely suspect the first one was done incorrectly. Something to say against it. The bathroom lights are those stupid, automatic ones that turn on when you enter. More than once, these lights have not come on. read more

I no longer live in Indianapolis but my wife and I travel back often for friends and business. This time around we have been to 3 Starbucks locations so far on our trip in the Greenwood/Indy area. I say all of that to just say WOW....to this location in particular. They do not have their lobby closed (huge points there for me) they are training new hires (shows they have a great work environment to be hiring when nobody else can find employees) and they had smiles you could feel through the masks the entire time. I brought my daughter in on a coffee run, she's 1 and a half, and everyone complimented her on how cute she was but she was restless nonetheless. One of your employees offered to help me carry my four drinks to my car for me, to most this may seem like a small gesture but in today's society that speaks volumes. I just wanted to say thank you and that If anyone is looking for great coffee and a great environment to match please don't waste your time going ANYWHERE else. This spot is the place to be and I left with a smile on my face. I own a retail business myself and know that an environment like that is built from the top to the bottom. This one is a staple. Close to school, good hours, and plenty of seating. It's always filled with fellow students, and there's always a few cars in the drive through, a testament to it's popularity. All the employees (that I've interacted with) are very pleasant and the restrooms (for those that care) are well kept! read more

Not the most efficient Starbucks that I have ever been to. We visited on a typical weekday evening to find that the place was pretty busy. There were several people in line as well as several people seated around the lounge area. One thing that I noticed is that they do not take your name when they take your order. I feel that when a place is super busy that is the easiest way to make sure that everyone gets their drink. I mean its Starbucks so its not like every single person is going to order something different. The girl that took my order seemed to be a little frazzled by how busy they were. IDK how else to word it other than that. Just felt that something was a little off. Then you had several people actually making drinks. I counted 3...which you would think that would mean you'd get your drink faster. But that was not correct either. Two people seemed to be not only making drinks but also trying to manage the drive thru. They carried a personal conversation the whole time but talked loud enough that everyone could hear. Despite the lack of organization the drinks did come out in the order in which they were ordered. That was impressive. Also with everyone kind of doing their own thing only 1 persons drink was wrong. Apparently a guy wanted his drink cold and they made it hot. When my drink finally came out I felt that it wasn't made like the other places. Its not that hard to make a passion tea lemonade sweetened either...but apparently they did something wrong. Due to the slow pace and overall appearance that no one really knew what was going on...I did not ask them to re-make it. It wasn't horrible by any means...just not what I was expecting.
