I enjoyed a blueberry vanilla iced latte and it was the perfect drink to start my work day. Pro tip: If you're just popping into The AMP to visit Tinker Coffee or grab something very quickly from one of the other shops, you can park in the parking spots immediately outside of The AMP. They are reserved for take-out pickup. I was circling for a while, trying to find parking, when I saw these spots. It makes actually visiting The AMP a bit easier! Anyway, I visited Tinker Coffee to get a hot tea. They have green jasmine tea, which is one of my favorite green teas because it tastes naturally sweet. No sweetener needed! Tinker also have Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Chamomile and Lavender Mint tea. I guess they also have coffee! I didn't get any this time, but I always like Tinker Coffee every time I get it. They did a collab with Jason and Chris of the How Long Gone podcast a few years ago, which has endeared me to them even more. Worlds colliding, and all that. I didn't see too much in the way of things to eat here. This Tinker Coffee location is strictly beverages. But that's OK, because if you want something to eat, you can take your pick from one of the several restaurants and shops located within steps of Tinker inside The AMP. read more

A friend and I stopped in here at the AMP before work. I saw they had this magical Halloween themed drink - it was their version of a PSL. This was back in October. It was INCREDIBLE. Great flavors and you can really tell they put in quality ingredients and time to craft great coffee. Would definitely come here again. I've always loved Tinker Coffee! I came to pick up some coffee for a small work event, so I ordered the 96 oz traveler in the Conduit blend. I'm glad I came in early as it did take some time to make and there was only one worker at the time. She was very friendly and got all the items ready for easy travel. I did also order the iced brown sugar cinnamon latte and added honey but she may have forgotten to add honey because I couldn't taste it. I was at a conference at the AMP and Tinker was my lifeline. Their London Fog is delicious! I had two in two days, then grabbed a third at the airport location on my way out of town. The touch of vanilla was a nice touch, and I also really enjoyed their regular black iced tea. I'm not a coffee drinker, but was very intrigued by some of their specialty drinks, so I suspect Tinker also has some pretty fantastic coffee drinks, too. The staff was friendly and even with a line, our drinks came up fast. I wish we had Tinkers in Tucson! read more

This is my favorite place, I go wayyyy too much! I imagine all locations are just as good but I have only been to this one, the one near broad ripple, and the airport location. The Amp is such a cool location, lots to explore and try with plenty of seating and just a good vibe. But don't forget everything closes at 3pm! My favorite drink from Tinker is the maple miso Carmel latte, I slurp this coffee up like it's no one's business! Their yogurt parfaits are also delicious and everything is fairly reasonably priced. I had a meeting at AMP this morning and, since I've never been, I was excited to try something new. Tinker Coffee did not disappoint. I had the Cinnamon Maple latte and it was a perfect fall drink. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. There was a pretty good crowd around 8am on a Thursday and I saw at least two other groups gathering for a meeting. The staff person was friendly and quick, even though it was pretty busy. I'm not normally in that area of the city but I'll definitely stop in again next time I am. read more

The coffee menu has the traditional coffee and espresso drinks you can find at their other locations and they also have some special drinks. There are different milk options and order ahead is available. You can find alternative beverages to coffee. The menu also has a few sandwiches. You can buy whole been coffee and coffee equipment at this location as well. The customer service is top notch. Very friendly, personal, and professional. The location is ideal as well. In the Asian Market you can get your coffee and stop by next door and get a croissant. There is plenty of seating and bathrooms available. One more place to get your Tinker Coffee fix? What's not to love? This location serves as the anchor coffee shop for The Amp. Every visit to this incubator space/food hall, includes a visit to Tinker for the five spice latte for us. Oh, and a bag of beans for our every day needs at home. You can now find Tinker on 16th street, in a variety of coffee shops and specialty food shops as well as their two locations in the Indianapolis airport. Our appreciation for Tinker goes beyond the beans- not only do we love the owners, Stephen and Jeff but it was a Tinker coffee cupping class that I attended years ago that finally got me "drinking the coffee koolaid, if you will". They're great partners in the community and it certainly doesn't hurt that they have some of the best beans around. Thank goodness for coffee spots that are open in the morning! Yes, you would say coffee is served in the morning and after a rather bad experience of a closed coffee shop I quickly googled and rushed to tinker at the amp and thankfully it was open. The shop is amongst many other stores in the amp and has an open seating which isn't dedicated to a specific business. Love their coffee! If you enjoy a robust flavor this coffee might be your new best friend! Their location at The Amp allows for plenty of eating as well as picking up treats from one of the other vendors. Tinker does have some treats and sandwiches but nothing vegan so far. Maybe soon? I usually get their latte but love how fluffy yet full bodied it seems. I try to drink even the last drops and seem to crave more just as I finish a cup. I go for the coffee and I keep going back for those tarts. Conveniently located in The Amp, this is the only way to get Tinker Coffee made for you by Tinker. Yea other can brew Tinker coffee but as far I know, the creative flavors offered by Tinker here is the only place you will get specially made syrups Tinker makes. Now these tarts. I met a friend here and ordered an iced honey latte and got a blueberry lemon pop tart to-go. The service was excellent and the location is great for meeting friends. We ordered our coffee and sat outside and chatted. My only reservation was I did not like the pop tart. It looks lovey and I really wanted to love it, but the filling was thick and gelatinous. The flavor wasn't good. There was a strong preservative taste. This may have been due to it sitting in the plastic container and getting warm outside. The first bite wasn't good, but I tried again and kept tasting it. It didn't get any better and I ended up throwing half of it away. I am hoping this was just a fluke thing, so I'm planning to try another flavor the next time I stop by. I think just to be safe, I won't let it sit in the plastic container outside on a hot day for long. Overall, great place for coffee! read more

I've had Tinker coffee from different partners but never from Tinker directly. So when I saw them at the AMP, I had to try it! There was only one person working when I came and she was very personable. She was prepared to answer all of the question I had. I ordered a vanilla iced latte, a classic. The espresso is superb. Very smooth, strong aroma, and pairs well with the syrup. I actually got the largest size and it did not taste diluted at all.
