Tinker Coffee NEVER misses. They have so many fun drink options. I tried Tinker the first time at the airport and was extremely excited to see it at the AMP in Indianapolis! I enjoyed a blueberry vanilla iced latte and it was the perfect drink to start my work day. Service was awesome with the perfect recommendations based off my preferences and the space is perfect to work out of for a couple hours. read more

Tinker is always a good idea! This was my first time at this location and I ordered their blueberry matcha, which is so refreshing and summery. There are hints of lemon too and it's an all around wonderful drink. They are in the AMP food hall, so it's a little noisy, but you can take it to go if you prefer more quiet area. I also like that you can grab food from other local vendors and it makes a great spot for lunch because you have so many different options. read more

Pro tip: If you're just popping into The AMP to visit Tinker Coffee or grab something very quickly from one of the other shops, you can park in the parking spots immediately outside of The AMP. They are reserved for take-out pickup. I was circling for a while, trying to find parking, when I saw these spots. It makes actually visiting The AMP a bit easier! Anyway, I visited Tinker Coffee to get a hot tea. They have green jasmine tea, which is one of my favorite green teas because it tastes naturally sweet. No sweetener needed! Tinker also have Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Chamomile and Lavender Mint tea. I guess they also have coffee! I didn't get any this time, but I always like Tinker Coffee every time I get it. They did a collab with Jason and Chris of the How Long Gone podcast a few years ago, which has endeared me to them even more. Worlds colliding, and all that. I didn't see too much in the way of things to eat here. This Tinker Coffee location is strictly beverages. But that's OK, because if you want something to eat, you can take your pick from one of the several restaurants and shops located within steps of Tinker inside The AMP. read more

If you have meetings at AMP this place is your best friend in the mornings!! Great coffee and other drinks (Topo Chicos are 3 bucks), with amazing services every time. The seating from AMP is great, couches and tables galore, added bonus is the bakery next door! read more

I've always loved Tinker Coffee! I came to pick up some coffee for a small work event, so I ordered the 96 oz traveler in the Conduit blend. I'm glad I came in early as it did take some time to make and there was only one worker at the time. She was very friendly and got all the items ready for easy travel. I did also order the iced brown sugar cinnamon latte and added honey but she may have forgotten to add honey because I couldn't taste it. Overall, good experience and will be ordering again for the next work event! read more

A friend and I stopped in here at the AMP before work. I saw they had this magical Halloween themed drink - it was their version of a PSL. This was back in October. It was INCREDIBLE. Great flavors and you can really tell they put in quality ingredients and time to craft great coffee. Would definitely come here again. I was a little shocked at the price ($8 for a medium drink), but honestly it felt very worth it because of how good it was. read more

I was at a conference at the AMP and Tinker was my lifeline. Their London Fog is delicious! I had two in two days, then grabbed a third at the airport location on my way out of town. The touch of vanilla was a nice touch, and I also really enjoyed their regular black iced tea. I'm not a coffee drinker, but was very intrigued by some of their specialty drinks, so I suspect Tinker also has some pretty fantastic coffee drinks, too. The staff was friendly and even with a line, our drinks came up fast. I wish we had Tinkers in Tucson! read more

Baristas here are super friendly and made me the yummiest brown sugar cinnamon latte. I've never been to this location but will definitely be back!!! read more

This is my favorite place, I go wayyyy too much! I imagine all locations are just as good but I have only been to this one, the one near broad ripple, and the airport location. The Amp is such a cool location, lots to explore and try with plenty of seating and just a good vibe. But don't forget everything closes at 3pm! My favorite drink from Tinker is the maple miso Carmel latte, I slurp this coffee up like it's no one's business! Their yogurt parfaits are also delicious and everything is fairly reasonably priced. The employees are so sweet and they never get sick of seeing me every two days. If I could give this location 10 stars I would. read more

Stopped at this location before hitting the road to get a drink. I was surprised and pleased to see that they have London fogs on the menu. As that is one of my favorite drinks, I was excited to try it from a local business. It was so tasty, and they even told me how to make it at home which I appreciated. The staff was so friendly! I can't wait to get back to try some more drinks. read more

I had a meeting at AMP this morning and, since I've never been, I was excited to try something new. Tinker Coffee did not disappoint. I had the Cinnamon Maple latte and it was a perfect fall drink. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. There was a pretty good crowd around 8am on a Thursday and I saw at least two other groups gathering for a meeting. The staff person was friendly and quick, even though it was pretty busy. I'm not normally in that area of the city but I'll definitely stop in again next time I am. read more

Serving the same excellent quality coffee as they do elsewhere. The coffee menu doesn't seem scaled downed. The coffee menu has the traditional coffee and espresso drinks you can find at their other locations and they also have some special drinks. There are different milk options and order ahead is available. You can find alternative beverages to coffee. The menu also has a few sandwiches. You can buy whole been coffee and coffee equipment at this location as well. The customer service is top notch. Very friendly, personal, and professional. The location is ideal as well. In the Asian Market you can get your coffee and stop by next door and get a croissant. There is plenty of seating and bathrooms available. I realize this is a brief review but that's because a lot of what I could say about Tinker has already been said before. read more

One more place to get your Tinker Coffee fix? What's not to love? This location serves as the anchor coffee shop for The Amp. Every visit to this incubator space/food hall, includes a visit to Tinker for the five spice latte for us. Oh, and a bag of beans for our every day needs at home. You can now find Tinker on 16th street, in a variety of coffee shops and specialty food shops as well as their two locations in the Indianapolis airport. Our appreciation for Tinker goes beyond the beans- not only do we love the owners, Stephen and Jeff but it was a Tinker coffee cupping class that I attended years ago that finally got me "drinking the coffee koolaid, if you will". They're great partners in the community and it certainly doesn't hurt that they have some of the best beans around. While visiting this location you'll can pick up eats from several of the Amp vendors like salads, arepas, pizza, and croissants, to make a few. read more

Love their coffee! If you enjoy a robust flavor this coffee might be your new best friend! Their location at The Amp allows for plenty of eating as well as picking up treats from one of the other vendors. Tinker does have some treats and sandwiches but nothing vegan so far. Maybe soon? I usually get their latte but love how fluffy yet full bodied it seems. I try to drink even the last drops and seem to crave more just as I finish a cup. I can recommend their efforts in other areas as well but for now their coffee is the key. Check them out if you are looking for a meet up spot or just yummy coffee! read more

Thank goodness for coffee spots that are open in the morning! Yes, you would say coffee is served in the morning and after a rather bad experience of a closed coffee shop I quickly googled and rushed to tinker at the amp and thankfully it was open. The shop is amongst many other stores in the amp and has an open seating which isn't dedicated to a specific business. I ordered americano and it was quick and good much like tinker coffee. 2 shots and costed about. $3 which I felt was extremely reasonable. Quick and convenient go to place! read more

I have been wanting to try Tinker as I know their coffee beans are distributed throughout Indy! I ordered the hazelnut latte, and it was great! Not too sweet, just perfect! I wish I got the baristas name, but she was so friendly and bubbly! Really friendly and great service! I didn't try a tart, but I need too! read more

I go for the coffee and I keep going back for those tarts. Conveniently located in The Amp, this is the only way to get Tinker Coffee made for you by Tinker. Yea other can brew Tinker coffee but as far I know, the creative flavors offered by Tinker here is the only place you will get specially made syrups Tinker makes. Now these tarts. Back in the day I liked Pop Tarts when I was a kid. Into adulthood, Pop Tarts were no longer a go to breakfast item or afternoon snack. Then I seen these Tarts at Tinker and my willingness to try a tart. The flavors are insanely different and good. Libby was friendly and provided awesome customer service and a perfectly crafted Latte! read more

I literally cannot say enough good things about Tinker at the AMP! Their latte options change with the season though you can always get the classics (regular latte, their 5 spice latte). Their drip and pour over coffee options also change frequently and never disappoint! The staff are always lovely and the refrigerated case always has bottled teas, kombucha, canned cold brew, and a few hand made pop tarts. They also make breakfast sandwiches using local sourced foods. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in Indy! read more

Great coffee, accessible locations, with something for everyone. The options are listed on the menu board but if you want something that isn't listed on the menu, the baristas can be quite accomdating. The vibe is welcoming and relaxing, not stuffy. My first time visit I was treated like a regular. There are seats in from of the cafe-front to sit back and relax with your drink or finish up some work. I genuinely think tinker coffee can do no wrong. My favorite is their 5 spice latte. Hot. Iced. Doesn't matter. It's incredible either way.

I met a friend here and ordered an iced honey latte and got a blueberry lemon pop tart to-go. The service was excellent and the location is great for meeting friends. We ordered our coffee and sat outside and chatted. My only reservation was I did not like the pop tart. It looks lovey and I really wanted to love it, but the filling was thick and gelatinous. The flavor wasn't good. There was a strong preservative taste. This may have been due to it sitting in the plastic container and getting warm outside. The first bite wasn't good, but I tried again and kept tasting it. It didn't get any better and I ended up throwing half of it away. I am hoping this was just a fluke thing, so I'm planning to try another flavor the next time I stop by. I think just to be safe, I won't let it sit in the plastic container outside on a hot day for long. Overall, great place for coffee! read more

I've had Tinker coffee from different partners but never from Tinker directly. So when I saw them at the AMP, I had to try it! There was only one person working when I came and she was very personable. She was prepared to answer all of the question I had. I ordered a vanilla iced latte, a classic. The espresso is superb. Very smooth, strong aroma, and pairs well with the syrup. I actually got the largest size and it did not taste diluted at all. I saw that they also sell jugs of cold brew for $15, which I may have to return for. Great coffee!! read more

This morning a coworker and I took a short journey over to AMF to check out what they had to offer. The layout of this place is super cool, old shopping containers used as places to order food or drinks! I got an iced mocha and a bag of whole bean ZING! The mocha is so good, rich with flavor. I'm excited to try the beaned coffee I bought! We had a lot of questions and the employees were so nice and helpful. What a fun spot in an upcoming area. Can't wait to return. read more
