Every time I come to this location, the efficiency, quality, and good vibes from the staff are always on point. This morning there were about six cars in the drive-thru and somehow everyone was out in under five minutes! I got two drinks and mine tasted better than any of the other Starbucks I've had over the last couple weeks, both here in town and in Morgan Hill. The staff was really friendly too. It looked like they were training someone new, which was nice to see because they're definitely training her right! This store just seems to have a really good team. It's also nice seeing people sitting out in the courtyard enjoying their coffee. The whole place always has such a good atmosphere and just feels welcoming. Great drinks, great service, and overall really good vibes every time I come here. read more

I want to start off by saying I'm disappointed. If I could give a 0/5 I would. last night I showed up for the new bear cups at around 1:30am and I was waiting in line patiently as the 7th person in line. I thought I came early enough to get a cup for my daughter's birthday. At around 3am a young man and lady showed up and went to talk to a few people at the very front of the line . As soon as Starbucks opened their presumed manager walked out to keep an orderly line. However the two who showed up stayed at the front of the line instead of going to the back. With further inspection the young girl named "Alondra" who cut had an apron in her pocket which I assume is a worker. Although I showed up early and waited for hours I wasn't able to buy any of the limited cups as they sold out by the time I got to the front. I know that there wasn't a gaurentee but I am still disappointed by the dishonest behavior of cutting the line. Starbucks should have staff earlier to keep order. Or handout numbers. read more

I worked for Starbucks many years ago. In fact, they put me through college and my first years of working with children with disabilities. Some days, I just need a smile, some chocolate, and a reminder that there is always a bright side to a tough day. This location, and seeing my former and amazing Store Manager Edgar and watching his crew work efficiently in such an upbeat and polished environment. Great job friends! It's refreshing to have you in the community. I was able to get so much work done on my computer today because of your location. And, the decaf Mocha Frappuccino was simple perfection! read more

Ordered the grande mocha and peppermint mocha. Been ages since I had a Starbucks but since I was out of town, decided to have coffee before heading to the gilroy outlet. There were like 6 staff that Saturday afternoon working... college looking kids that was more focused In chatting. The grande size has definitely shrunk in size .. either that or they made the cup look skinnier. The kid who made my drink didn't make it have any taste or sweetness. Besides that, while I was standing at the counter for the 2 drinks, he just placed it in the counter and didn't even bother to say my name when the 2nd drink was done. read more

I always order off the app. My order is always ready when I arrive. The staff is both friendly and efficient. I'd like to especially recognise Joselyn for her cheerful attitude and also greeting me by name. The store is always very clean. My only issue is that one of the metal/fabric chairs is missing the metal bar that prevents the back cushion from falling out, thus causing the patron to fall backward if they're not prepared. Surely, with all the Starbucks in the area, there must be some spare parts to canabalize to repair this issue. read more

After having a rough week I stopped by Starbucks to get a coffee before school. I ordered a grande iced Carmel macchiato on the app and went to pick it up inside. I saw that it was my order but they gave me a venti instead of grande. The girl handing out the drinks was so kind and asked if I wanted a grande instead but I reassured her it was okay. This made my day!!!! They left the sweetest note too and this shows that these little acts of kindness can really brighten up someone's day. They also added extra ice per requested and the drink was amazing. Thank you so much! read more

I came here to pick up an order and I got in line and the cashier was helping someone before me. Once he was done, he didn't acknowledge me or say anything to me. I kept waiting and he walked away from the register and still didn't say one word nor did the other staff members. The cashier again walked past me so I finally spoke up and asked if someone can help me! Another staff member was nice enough to help and I told him that the other kid ignored me and didn't say one word. He apologized and said there was a staff meeting.. I responded that I understood but it's no excuse as I'm here to pick up an order. I was helping and the staff was nice to me. CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES A LONG WAY! read more

Everything was served quickly and made to perfection! I also liked the ambient of the coffee shop.

I really like the ambiance of this Starbucks. Many different places to sit including cushion chairs, and it's very roomy. The baristas here do tend to mess up my order sometimes, but the service is quick and I love sitting in here! read more

This Starbucks in Gilroy is hands down my favorite location. I live in San Jose, but whenever I'm visiting family in Gilroy, this is the one I always come to. It's always clean, the drinks are consistently great, and the quality never slips. The customer service is next level. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making your day better. I especially love when they write little messages on the cups. Always so clean, It sounds small, but it always makes my day. You can tell this store takes pride in what they do. Easily the best Starbucks in the area. read more

...whoever made my coffee this morning, count your days! I thought I was going to be rich because I saw something floating in my drink that looked like a roach. However, after further inspection, I realized, it was just a coffee bean. I sat in silence the rest of the way to work sipping my always delicious drink, that tastes like it was made with love...disappointed that...well...I'm still broke. See you tomorrow PS ....dont ever scare me like that again read more

Customer service ranges from average to good. I've used both drive-thru and in-person, and orders seem to come out quickly both ways. The tables could be cleaner but considering how busy it can get, I think it could be worse. There's ample parking in the lot and in the street, which is convenient. The reason I took two stars off is because the bathrooms can sometimes get neglected and the music is always obnoxiously loud to the point that having a conversation is difficult unless you're talking very loudly or leaning in close to the person you're with. And if you're trying to get any work done, I highly recommend going elsewhere because the music is so loud that you'll clearly hear it even through noise-cancelling headphones. That detracts from the otherwise relaxing ambience. read more

Every. Single. Time. It never fails that end up I regretting coming to this location and always wish I had gone to the one further down first street. It is seemingly employed by a bunch of super young and careless kids who don't bother to display an ounce of decent customer service. On this visit, it was Emma who was rushing us to order coldly asking, "what else??" the entire time and then didn't even give us our total and when I asked, gave us the same attitude. Not to mention our hot coffees were lukewarm and not filled up. Corporate really needs to review personnel clean house at this location. For now, I will support my local small businesses that actually care about how to treat their customers. read more

Starbucks - Didn't even take a sip yet and this was how full it was. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Gilroy, California

I have never been further disappointed like I am today. do not go to the Starbucks on first and kelton. Despite whatever I order, they never fail to mess it up. it started off a cold crisp morning day. I was ready to get some Starbucks in my system to rejuvenate myself for work. I already knew my coffee was gonna be bad when it took 20 minutes to get my drink. not only was my coffee super late. They also did not make it right as there was no foam like I ordered. an easy mistake sure but this isn't the first time they don't know how to make coffee as they always seem to burn it and they don't know how to make Matcha because whenever I order one it's always clumpy. Do better Starbucks. read more

In the past few months, they must have gotten someone new because three times I have gotten burnt coffee. One time it was completely undrinkable. I have even told the staff that I've gotten burnt coffee multiple times, but clearly they keep the person that burns coffee read more

I usually give 5 stars but lately they have been awful. Had a discrepancy with my order and one of the baristas had an attitude and I gave her the same energy back, and that's when Kim the other barista called me the B word in which a customer called her out and told her that that was not cool and Kim said well I can't have her talking to my staff like that. If she was there for the whole conversation she would see how her barista was talking to me. I definitely will be calling corporate read more

Fast service. Friendly and clean environment. Nice outdoor area. Parking lot too small, always mayhem. - 1

Just opened like 6 months ago, this Starbucks is super busy "the drive through wrapped around the building" but with more employees than I can count with both hands, the service is fast and efficient. I ordered a decaf coffee with 1/2&1/2 "2 sugars" Unfortunately the coffee tasted bitter, so this location gets a Meh. read more

We were in a conversation with the intention to order a drink. But after he said if we didn't buy a drink that moment we would have to leave. Policy or not. My first visit at this fairly new location (opened up on November 13, 2020) and I must say this place is super busy, especially at the drive-through. We arrived here at 2:15pm in the drive through queue and departed at 2:47pm (having about 10 cars in front of us when we arrived). They have Super friendly service and their beverages tasted consistently good; however their drive through was definitely a longer wait than the average Starbucks. We waited about 30mins from start to finish just to get a hot coffee and hot tea. Sadly, they post on their window (at the end of the drive-thru, with no advanced warning) that they are greatly limited to staffing due to COVID regulations in this area. So, technically it's not their fault; BUT if you come here, you have been warned! Prepare to wait a while at the drive-through! Absolutely Friendly staff though, did I mention? read more

My new favorite Starbucks! I am so glad to have a drive thru Starbucks on this side of town. Customer service: the crew was extremely welcome every time we have visited. Our first visit, the cashier came around the counter to show us the beautiful patio. We appreciated the extra step she took to welcome us in to the new location. Parking: There is 15 minute parking out front, which is perfect for mobile order pickup. The shopping center has parking throughout. I typically park in the front (on the first street side) which always has available parking. The shopping center offers additional parking behind Brew City (between bank & brew city) which is perfect for any overflow, however I have not had to use it yet because parking has been available in the shopping center itself every time I've been. Sitting area: Starbucks has a beautiful, large patio on the first street side. The view of the rolling hills is beautiful and there has always been available seating during my visits. Drive-thru: this Starbucks has a drive-thru. The staff is very welcoming during the order screen, always asking how my day is and for my name. Mikayla at the pickup window gave us a wonderful experience, asking our plans for the weekend and building conversation as they were finishing up our drinks. This drive thru is quick, efficient and kept their line moving while providing a great experience. 5/5 stars. I am truly happy to have this wonderful Starbucks on first street. read more

This new location is very modern and aesthetically pleasing! The building itself is larger than most Starbies and definitely cozy, especially with the Holiday decors up. Due to extended covid restrictions, the indoor is off limits to seatings right now, but the outdoor tables and chairs are open! It's a tad breezy to be outdoors, but it's still an option if you're bundled up or ordered a nice warm coffee to sip! Perhaps they should add a few heaters out there- that would be nice! The lot itself is a bit congested! It's the only business currently opened in the new plaza and it's already occupying most of the parking lot space. The drive-thru is pretty wonky as well. It's narrow and it weaves between two buildings and into the congested parking lot. I'm sure when the new Brew City Burgers open up (decently large restaurant), it will be mayhem in that lot!! Overall, opening week wasn't bad or maybe I was just very understanding and patient, haha. Our orders did take a little long and they did forget one item, but they were at least very friendly. Also, their drive-thru was very busy during this time, which may explain the delay. Anyways, once covid restrictions are lifted, this location would be a very nice Starbies to work at. WiFi is obviously available! :) read more
