cute little coffee spot, drive thru but they have a large variety of coffees. Delicious and employees friendly and quick with every car going thru. Definitely coming back when visiting. Thank you!!!

A drive thru place. Will try. Honey syrup..is ok. 5 shots is standard. Unusual but great. Pleasant lady attending. And all is good here. I dropped a Star only for syrup.

nice people and great coffee! You can ask for a flavor list if you don't know what you want.

Not good anymore. Use to be the best coffee in town. They changed their syrups and went with cheaper cups. They must have changed owners or something because it has gone downhill. So sad because I rather support a local business than the other big coffee brands in town.

1 of 4 drinks that I had to take back bc their "barristas" cant make a consistent White Mocha.

I'm writing this review because I am fed up with having to take trips back to Java express at least one or two times weekly to get my drinks made correctly. It takes me roughly 20 mins to go back to java to have them correct their mistake/s. This has happened at least four times over the course of the past month. My biggest gripe and reasoning for a 1 star review is Javas employess neglect to provide any compensation when a customer returns with a poorly made drink. Its not something a customer should have to ask for; common sence to keep customers happy! To avoid this common issue and continue aiming for customers loyalty, I would highly suggest holding training days with all of your employees/baristas to insure consistant-quality beverages are being produced every single time! Seems simple enough? Also, make it POLICY when a client/customer returns with a poorly made drink, give them a gift certificate for a free beverage/drink (if they return next time). I'm sure by implementing these changes/actions it would avoid one star reviews through the leading platform for reviews. As a business owner; one star reviews will keep you up at night.

I've started going to Java Express since it is local, and I have come to enjoy both the friendly staff and good coffee.

The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. There is indoor seating and a nice patio area (which is dog friendly). My favorite sandwich is the buratta - roasted cherry tomatoes, basil, pesto, and balsamic vinegar on a ciabatta roll. (I always split it with my dog.) By the way, the name is an homage to the classic Alfred Hitchcock film "Vertigo" (1958). The climactic scene in the movie was filmed at Mission San Juan Bautista.

You're always asked if you have any questions before you order which is super nice if you aren't sure what you're going to order. I tried the cardamom fig cappuccino (winter special), hot mocha and ice almond milk latte. The cappuccino was so delicious, though I didn't taste the fig as much as the cardamom it was still a super well balanced cappuccino. The mocha wasn't to sweet, which I enjoy because the espresso still comes through and you can taste the rich chocolate. Lastly, the almond milk latte was really smooth, you can tell they use great quality almond milk. Food wise I got the buttered croissant and two different cookies from Bake That Dough (which they sell inside to the left of the register when you walk in). The buttered croissant was incredibly flaky and buttery. It paired so well with my cappuccino and I look forward to my next. The cookies were so cute and perfectly paired with the coffee drinks as well. Overall great experience, I am excited to try their other baked goodies and fun beverages.

There is NO drive through. It is an old gas station converted into a coffee shop. The parking is scant and right next to the building but plentiful just across the side street for the train and bus stations. What this place does have is CHARACTER and a laid back vibe I don't seem to find in chain coffee shops. The service is top notch, the prices reasonable, and the coffee is excellent. You are called to the counter when your order is ready. There are some nice looking pastries available (I haven't tried any yet). There is a retro record player and some vinyl records, but there has never been any music playing there when I am there. It is across the street from a train station and near the downtown shops.

The staff is very kind and clearly working hard, but the system itself feels completely unorganized. It honestly feels like everyone is on their first day at the same time. Tables don't seem to be divided in a logical way. Instead of one server handling inside and another the patio, servers are running back and forth between both areas, which slows everything down. During our visit, we ordered drinks with one person, placed our food order with who I think was our actual waitress, had our food delivered by someone from the kitchen who wasn't sure which table it belonged to, got refills from someone who may have been the manager or owner, and didn't see our waitress again until we had to go ask for the check ourselves. Kitchen staff were walking out with dishes asking around to find the right table, which added to the confusion. Everyone is friendly and clearly trying their best, but the lack of organization makes the experience inefficient and a bit stressful as a customer. I would still recommend Buenos Días Cafecito if you have time and patience that day. The food really is that good, just don't come in a rush or expecting smooth service.
