Onto the drinks; Kids got the Oreo milkshakes which were good, they liked it. It wasn't pure Oreos, you can taste like a chocolate powder was added. Our friend got the mint chocolate chip milk shake and he said it was ok and that it somewhat tasted like Starbucks lol Myself got the Thai milk tea and I didn't like it at all. It was watery tasting, not milky at all. Asked for less ice but they gave me no ice. It's the worst Thai milk tea I've ever had. Hubby got a jasmine milk tea which didn't tasted like jasmine, more like a rose milk tea instead. He's an avid jasmine milk tea guy so he knows what he's tasting. The night before I search of Salina has a Peets Coffee ?. Sure they did, its the best one so far for both of us. The place is big and have a lot of space, not like most Peets in Santa Clara county. It is a guarantee that you will find a table at this one no matter what time you come in. The internet ? you don't need s pass code for it, its open no matter how long you stay. The coffee ??? Wow! My husband is very hard to satisfy when it comes to his cappuccino, but at this place ? he was smiling and said to me that, that was by far the best cappuccino he ever had at any Peets and I can tell it looks really good in the cup. I had a latte it was also one of the best I ever had, its one of the reason why I choose Peets over Starbucks in the first place, their latte is much better taste for me. This whole experience with good coffee was possible because of the manager at this Peets at the time, sorry I didn't catch her name but I am sure she has to be the manager here if not she deserve to be a manager. She is the white very fit lady who worked there very early that morning. She is good, she knows what she is doing, I can feel from every sip of that coffee that she had her mind into it. At the end of our visit I spoke with her and told her, about how great our coffee was and that was my husbands best cappuccino at any Peets so far. However I do agree with other review about their complain about other service but I won't take 5 stars from the first sip of coffee I had. I order a second cup of latte latter on and it was prepared by someone else and I was very disappointed by my first cup was the best. The Caprese sandwich was amazing also. My sister had the half turkey sandwich and she loved it along with a beautiful salad, which was so big that I got to have some also! The dressing was a balsamic that was amazing. My understanding is that they get their vegetables fresh from local farms in Hollister, which was very nice to hear! Our server, Kim was very delightful and very knowledgeable about the restaurants background and shared a lot a lot about it with us. She was very helpful and are ordering and the delivery of our food. My nephew had a chicken sandwich and he loved it and took the rest home to enjoy later. The owners, Becky and Brian were both there a very nice husband and wife team. I want to give a shout out to Brian, who is also an artist! My Nephew and I were enjoying what we thought were black-and-white pictures of farms and old trucks and barns and such. Turns out the owner drew those from a picture and they are so amazing! I asked him if he had any for sale or wanted to sell any of them and he's thinking about it.
