It's Starbucks, the third place, or so it's called. At this particular location the staff was caught up in their own conversations and nonsense. I was acknowledged after a long stare. I was not asked for my name, a standard Starbucks is known for. I paid and waited for my drink. It seemed like forever, but it was about 10 minutes. Then a barista asked me if I was waiting for something. (Stupid question) of course. I stated my drink. She lifted my drink from the many drinks and pastries that were at the hand off. I went through the drive thru on 6/17, when ordering an iced grande caramel macchiato and a Venti cup with extra extra caramel add whip I'm still expecting my coffee to taste like coffee not to taste like milk but when you go in and the Employee decides to call you honey and it's a milk drink you've got serious problems there and have it still taste bad and only take like drinking milk. Immediately when asking about my bday drink they said it didn't pop up and they said, "well.. this is gonna be a problem " I just paid for my drink. No issue. No hassle at all the lady working had a smile and said thank you - what a concept! Sherwood Salinas take note! This location also closes at 10 and I was still able to walk in after 9:45 and pick up my drink. I believe that with every negative review you should leave a positive one for a good experience yes there was very minimal interaction at this location but the fact that I could walk in and pick up my order that I already paid for (during normal business hours)and be greeted with a smile earns this location kudos and my review for being reliable and friendly. While I'm not a person who frequents Starbucks, my passenger is so we stopped. Driving up, noticed 4 cars in the drive thru and no one inside so we parked and walked in. Opening the door, there were 4 employees behind the counter and looking into the kitchen area, there looked to be 2 others in the back. Again, there was NO-ONE inside waiting or sitting around at all. Walked straight up to the register to order and was told "it will be 15-20 minutes until we can help you because we're catching up on mobile pick up orders". WTF? So we drove down to the other Starbucks a mile away on the same street who had a backed up drive thru, and 5 people inside. They also had 10-12 drinks waiting for mobile pick up. Made our order and it was ready in about 5 minutes. Asked the cashier had they ever heard of stopping walk-ins to only service drive thru or mobile orders and he said "why would anyone do that?". I come here about once a month on my way to work. Today I got two drinks and one of them was a small iced coffee. The lid was not on all the way and when I went to drink it, it spilled all over my shirt. Normally, I would not make such a big deal, but this lid was barely attached. So I called the store just as an FYI and I said you might want to double check your lids. Mine was not on all the way and it spilled all over my shirt. The gentleman on the other end took a few seconds to respond and there was a pause and then he said OK. I said well I just wanna let you know you might want to check your lids another pause. Then a very insincere sounding sorry. I was simply letting them know what happened and that they should maybe check their lids and it seemed like he didn't even care or want to hear me. My mother and i went to the drive thru of this Starbucks on 12-6-2023 at 6:20PM where she started by asking for someone whos been making drinks for awhile to make hers, because it tends to be a difficult one to make. I could already tell the person who took the order didn't sound very happy about what she asked for. When we got to window she was handed the drink and asked by Chris "is this to heavy?" she told him yes, and started to basically explain how to make it super light (the drink is mostly foam) Chris then intentionally cut her off mid sentence and said "alright all i needed to know is if it's to heavy" then he walked away. I was like uhhh why is this dude getting hostile??? We tried to flag down the barista, who gave a yeah right kinda look and turned her back to us. At this point I'm getting heated by the painfully obvious lack of basic civility for no reason! I was about to go inside and speak with whomever was in charge, when the manager on duty, Ruben, comes to the window. My mother explained how she was shut down from speaking by Chris and ignored by the girl (don't know her name but doesn't matter. she is pretty irrelevant, for the most part) Ruben told my mother he heard what was said and saw no issue with it, because him and his two coworkers were, and i quote "on edge because of how she spoke in the drive thru" excuse me, what? It's been a minute since i heard something that ridiculous. After giving their excuse for treating my mother like a karen, she responded by saying she only tells them to have someone who knows how to make drinks do it because its typically wrong the first time. So of course, Ruben and his oh so sarcastic self told us "not to come back to his Starbucks since they can't make it right" oh and "I need you to go because the customers behind you are patiently waiting" Normally the people at this Starbucks are friendly and don't get up in their feelings, but go off i guess. It was by far one of the most infuriating experiences I've had to deal with, and you can bet i will NOT be letting this go. My advice to anyone that goes to this location, is don't. It doesn't matter if you say or ask for something as politely as possible, they will more than likely be offended and treat you like garbage. read more

This is my usually to go Starbucks bcs is close to home. But recently gets so bad and slow. Last Friday I place a mobile order before I go to work, on app says 10-12 mins . You'd think that if you've been to one Starbucks you've been to them all, but truth be told each location and experience can be vastly different. This location in particular is ghastly. Firstly, it is very dirty. The floor is often sticky and there are bits of trash strewn about and it wasn't even busy during the time of my visit. Secondly, they had their pastry display case completely dismantled and cleaned before 8pm. (I came around 7:22pm today) And thirdly, in addition to their staff needing a bit of an attitude adjustment, they only had one person making drinks during this time and she was working primarily on the drive through orders ! There was no one in front of me when I ordered and I still ended up waiting nearly 20 minutes for my drink. Absolutely ridiculous! Not to mention once I received my drink it was so hastily done, it tasted awful. Completely undrinkable. I took my poorly made drink and the rest of my party to the location off of Renz and received a much better outcome. In short, skip this location. It is neither convenient nor welcoming. If you want your drink / food order prepared right, and in a timely matter THE FIRST TIME, take a trip across the street to the Renz Lane location instead. Ask for Maddie, or James. This is a great drive thru Starbucks. The location is perfect and the service was great. It depends on when you go because we came around 7 pm and there was nobody in the drive thru. First off, the girl who took my order wasn't professional at all, and when she asked for a name, she was so confused and had no idea how to spell it. It's a VERY COMMON name.... I always get the iced coffee with sweetener, and both times I came, the drink was made wrong. Tasted watery, no sweetener added, etc. Definitely far below the usual Starbucks standard. Nobody greeted us. We stood there. There was nobody else in the store and we were standing at the pickup area. We kept waiting because we thought that maybe they were busy with the drive thru. We used the restroom (which was disgusting and dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days) and went back to stand and wait for our drinks. Still, nobody looked at us.
