This is my go to starbucks in the mornings and service has always been great. This afternoon I placed a mobile order and when I went to pick up I was told by Hannah that she had my given our drinks to someone by a complete different name on the order. I said I would wait for my drinks to be remade but that I was short on time. Ended up waiting 15 mins just for her to come back out and tell me she had only made one drink and couldn't remember the rest of the order. I've only done the drive thru at this location - every time I come the line for drive thru is usually long - however from my experience on a Saturday mid morning the line went relatively fast. The staff working the driveway window and taking orders are always super friendly with great customer service. The drinks are also made very well - taste great with the right amount of milk/coffee/tea ratios. The best part they never mess up our order. This Starbucks is so conveniently located right next to a Panera Bread. Both Starbucks and Panera are about 7 minutes drive away from the Gilroy Outlets. So I've been here a couple of times for after-lunch coffees. As other reviews have mentioned, it's extremely busy because of the drive-thru. The entire time I sat in this Starbucks, I could see the unending line of cars marching through the drive-thru. This is the reason for the long wait for your drinks. I don't actually mind waiting, but what I do have a problem with is the (lack of) cleanliness: The bathrooms were gross. Yikes. read more

No more chances. I've had way to many mistakes on a usual drink I always order. First off let me add I do understand that accidents happen and Starbucks can be a busy place during certain times of the day but when it's a continuing cycle of getting your Oder wrong then..might as well head to another Starbucks or get your drink else where. I have had so many mishaps happen particularly at this Starbucks and I can recall all the incidents that have taken place. I alway order my usual Venti Iced Americano with Carmel sauce or as some call it Carmel drizzle . My drink came out once with Carmel syrup and not Carmel sauce. My drink came out another time as a regular iced coffee with Carmel sauce, yes I could tell the difference. Then again my ordered was wrong when after I paid for it and they redid my drink , the girl said it was on the house after I had to park in front for a redo on my order and I was like how is it on the house when I already paid and got nothing back? Then at times they forget the Carmel. I keep going back because its near to where I live on that side of town. I know mistakes happen and they can be fixed, but mostly every single time? If you've seen one, you've seen them all... but this place does have its own character and vibe that I enjoy. I am here so often because of location, location, location. It seems to be directly in my path of weekly chores, so I always make a stop for more caffeine. The baristas are super polite and coffee is made above average. What!? I know, I know... corporate coffee blah blah blah, everybody goes to starbucks every once in a while, so this is an option for you. I hardly ever write reviews for chains, and especially for a coffee chain such as Starbucks but I felt that they should be recognized not only for the 4:30am opening time but the fact that I've come here a few times on road trips and they've always given me a great attitude and a reason to go back. Granted they are the only coffee place opened from where I live to destinations heading south. I've been ordering a flat white these days and it's got a stronger kick of espresso more so than their other lattes and cappuccinos. I feel like this is definitely on par with what they want their coffee to be like for people, not the watered down crap everyone is used to. A flat white makes my day exceptionally better. The strength is enough to get me through the first few hours and battle my way through driving. It's for that very reason that I am grateful for stores such as this one. My experience when I come her during the day hasn't been horrible, just one thing such as when I order a frap and I have residue from the last drink they blended. For example don't want to see a bunch or have any of the java chips in th caramel frap that I order. Please just take a few seconds extra rinsing the blender container. At night when I come I don't like the fact that the last few times you guys put the straw in my drink, I know to others that may seem absurd but there has been several times where you guys don't entirely pay attention I assume and just put the straw in without noticing that the wrapper isnt completely off and now it's inside the drink. So please be aware of that or simply just hand the customer their straw. read more

We had missed our Starbucks stop in San Jose before heading out to Southern California so we decided to find a Starbucks that would close later at night. We ended up finding this place which claimed they were open until 1130pm. We arrived through the drive thru 45 minutes before closing and waited in line with 5 cars ahead of us. By the time we were ready to order through the intercom, we weren't getting an answer. We kept saying hello and saw a few of the workers inside, but didn't seem to hear us. As we pulled up to the window to get their attention, the worker turns around and shakes her said basically saying they were closed. There were 3 people behind us as well who probably didn't get their order in... we are extremely dissatisfied! read more

Epic Starbucks for the location alone. This always serves as my launch-off point for caffeination on drives to LA. Or my final pick-me-up and signaling a return to civilization on the way back to the Bay Area. As part of Starbucks' deal with the devil, they got one of the best possible locations, where you have no choice but to pass here if you're driving to LA. This one's open pretty late, and opens again really early - so unless you're getting back around 2 am, you're probably good. Bathrooms are clean, drinks are made well, and service is friendly. Other than that, it's the same Starbucks you all know and love (or hate). PS: It's the holidays, I recommend adding some Sugar Free Peppermint syrup to your latte! It's awesome, and guilt-free since it's not 8000 calories like the normal syrups. read more

Just came here with my family on our way to Vegas. We ordered a caramel macchiato, vanilla Bean frap, caramel brulee and an undertow (understandable that the cashier didn't know since it's not on the Starbucks menu) all the hot drinks came by quickly (about a minute after we sat down) the guy at hot bar was a fast work and drinks were tasty. I would've rated this place a 5 if the cold drink station wasn't so slow. As someone who has worked at a pretty fast paced starbucks, the time waiting for the frap was a long 15 min. It's understandable that the frap took longer since making them takes time, especially of there are a lot in line and that more people continue to come in. However, the moment when people who ordered way after us got their Fraps before, it got pretty irritating. Overall, my experience would've been better if there was a better way of keeping the drinks on track. read more

Going to this Starbucks is always hit or miss on service. They often have a line that is several cars deep in drive thru and seems like those orders often take priority over the customers inside the store. We placed a mobile order and arrived to the location a few minutes later, there were a few customers inside ordering and waiting as well. The baristas were busy whipping up drinks but it was like one was called out in the store after every few were made and went out the drive thru window. It took almost 20 minutes for us to get our drinks. And we noticed a few other customers who were in the store before us waiting just as long. Any time we go to Gilroy we typically prefer to go to the Starbucks near Home Goods on the opposite side of the shopping center which is a smaller location, also has a drive thru, but not as busy. We just happened to be on the Target side so stopped by this one. read more

I've been going to Starbucks almost about every day of the month of December. I don't know what it is, maybe the red cups? The brisk cold chilly weather perhaps? So I have my share of opinions on Starbucks locations. I came here on a Saturday evening around 8 or so, the inside is quite large, wall cushioned seating, leather sofas, 2 person tables. Very nice. Since it was later in the day, the garbages were full to the tip, were coffee cups, and other trash were over flowing. Didn't really like that, and during the holiday season, they seem to never ever have the Christmas Blend ever ready!!! Like they ran out! So it would take then a few mins to brew. No bueno! Some are crazy busy and others average. I'm from San Jose but come to Gilroy to visit family But at this particular store the cashier named SHARON .....I really like her, OUTSTANDING.CONSISTENT QUICK CUSTOMER SERVICE.... VERY PLEASANT .. I ordered a traditional oatmeal with 2% milk . 2x she not only goes to the barista, ask for the milk and hands it to me RIGHT AWAY AND BOTH TIMES THERES A BIG LINE BUT SHES FAST. PLEASANT AND I LOVE THE FACT I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY OATMEAL... Same with the barista ..I ordered a breve latte extra hot..consistency is great she the girl w that tattoo on her left hand sorry she didn't have a name on her apron. On a Saturday morning coming to Starbucks this is what makes me take the time and noticed .write give praise 2 good employees because their outstanding customer service.. Keep it up...
