Not sure what's up with this Starbucks, had a Starbucks cup I bought with my points and the lid broke. So I brought it back and asked if I could just change the lid, not even get a new cup. Apparently they needed manager approval to do this, and no manager was in. Apparently fraud is an issue. Lady, there's a big Starbucks logo on the cup, and you have the same cup on your shelves. What kind of fraud are you worried about. read more

Came in and ordered had a great time. They were busy, but they were pumping out drinks and food like nobody's business way to go Starbucks!!! This location in specific has my heart. If you need to go to the bathroom, you will need a code. You can just grab it at the register and I can't speak for the men's bathroom but the women's bathroom there's two stalls so two people can go at one time. read more

This could have been a 1 or 2-star experience. But based on how the staff responded and the cleanliness of the bathroom, I give this Starbucks 4-stars. The cashier welcomed us upon entry and was very helpful in helping me figure out vegan food options. I ordered a Falafel Pocket with Avocado Spread. Another gal, who gave manager vibes, prepared my food and handed it to me. I sat at a table, took a bite, and discovered meat and cheese. I took it back to the counter but both staff that previously assisted me were not there. So another guy helped me and when I brought the issue to his attention, he was super apologetic after letting me know I was given a Chicken Jalapeño Pocket. He was quick to make the correct item for me. The gal who originally handed me the order and might be the manager walked past just moments later and was also informed. She also apologized for the error. Once I received the correct item, I enjoyed it. Omg, no, guys, this Starbucks does not prepare good drinks. Maybe just Coffee, but a CUSTOMIZED drink. Go elsewhere. My Matcha was not well blended; the powder was floating on top of the cup! This is my last visit here. I gave it three visits, and the third was the last! The staff is friendly, but they are not getting proper drink training. This Starbucks used to be the best in town but their service has gone way downhill lately. Twice now I have told them that I wanted to use my star rewards for my purchase. Both times they said "no problem". Then they charged my account instead! In addition, I typically take my own cup for them to put coffee in, even at the drive thru. They are supposed to collect the cup, fill it, and return it to me. The girl at the window has the pitcher with my drink hanging out the window and asked me to just hold my cup so she could pour it. I asked if she didn't want to take my cup inside so that she could set it on a counter to pour it in that way. She seemed perturbed by the request but complied. My friend who was with me in the car used to work in food service and said that what she did by trying to pour the drink out the window was unsanitary and realistically a "fireable" offense as it could have led to bacteria or other things getting into the drink! read more

It's super annoying when they make a drink wrong then don't even re make it properly just swirl it around. I got the lavender foam matcha oat milk. Half the venti cup is foam I scraped it out to show how they just filled half of it up. When I asked for it to be remade and showed her how much foam there is all she did was take it away from the window and swirled it around & handed it back. read more

Fast and friendly drive-thru experience. Despite the long line of cars; the staff really keep the customers moving and making great beverages. This has always been an efficient location that never lets us down even amidst these COVID days. If you're passing through Gilroy and need to recharge; don't hesitate to do a drive-thru this Starbucks just .3miles off the highway 101. This is a great location. I highly recommend it. read more

Terrible service. They made multiple drinks incorrect (size, type, ect) including several of ours and several other in just the few minutes we were there. The lady who made the drinks got upset at the several people who's drinks she made wrong. I would understand if they experiencing a rush, but there was 1 person in the drive through and 2 people inside. First time reviewing Starbucks. Probably the best service we have had ever. Wish I got the name of the cashier. They were out of a particular tea, but she did her best to suggest alternatives. She was patient with the Starbucks app my wife was using on her phone. Drinks and food are pretty consistent at every location. My go to is the chorizo breakfast sandwich. Mochas at Starbucks blow (you reading this Mr. Johnson?). Chalky, powdered cocoa doesn't make a good mocha... Had a pumpkin spiced latte and Update: First, Starbucks as a whole got rid of my favorite sandwich: cherizo sausage. Can't knock this location for that huge mistake. Had the bacon gudda sandwich today and it had "essence" of bacon. Again, can't knock this location, but I should never ice chunks in the center of the eggs! Out of the multiple Starbucks in town this is the one I ALWAYS choose to come to over the other locations. Today I walked in asked for my order and the barista Carlos asked what's the name ? And told him and he rudely responded with What's the name (for the second time). He then responded with "it's going to be a minute". Which I totally understood and said okay and stepped back. I was looking at the caffeine sign mostly and then looking around the store as usual people do. My order is ready under two mins I was not being impatient or making faces or complaining. He gave me my drink and I asked for a second straw which he gave to me. This is where my experience went from 100 to 0 real quick ... he then proceeded to turn to his co worker and say "I would rather be working drive bar because then you have people coming in store and staring at you like an animal." I was standing there because I was putting my straws in my drink to leave. Starbucks is unique because of its customer experience and that's what sets it aside from any other coffee shop. With that being said he made me feel extremely uncomfortable to visit this store again because I was just being a normal patient customer but he took offense to me waiting for my drinks. I only took the time out of my day to write this review because I am a consistent customer. I spend my money here and it doesn't feel good to have an employee make comments that can be taken offensively by customers. I hope he is able to learn from this experience or choose another occupation if he doesn't like the customer service industry. read more

This Starbuck is so much quicker than the one just 4 miles away. It offers a drive-through and they've never gotten my order wrong. You can usually find all of the new items displayed on signs along the drive through. They also have the screen to show you what you've ordered. Everyone's always friendly. read more

As is the case with most chain establishments, much of the ambiance and general expectations are the same. This Starbucks is clean, well furnished for studying and enjoying your coffee or tea, and is stocked with all of the odds and ends that are typical of their chain such as coffee beans and tumblers. Although not as busy as the other 2 nearby locations, this Starbucks has some work to do when it comes to customer service. When I walked in, there was no one in line and no one at the register. However, being the frequent customer that I am, I already knew what I wanted. I waited for a while, unaddressed wondering if I was seen. Finally, as the line began to grow to almost 3 people long, I asked if anyone was available to take my order. Finally, a young man emerged to take the order. After the order was taken we asked for the receipt and sat down. However, upon further investigation, I realized we were given someone else's receipt. So I returned to the front to get the correct receipt. Then, when I received my order it was partially wrong and also incomplete. Luckily, the staff fixed everything with no questions asked and I ended up leaving, a happy camper. It's new, it's clean, and is quite satisfying. All in all, this wasn't an awful experience, just a slightly off putting one. I hope to come back soon to give this location another chance and see if things change. read more

Today they are serving food to customers in faulty bags so if you walk in and pick up your order in person, by the time you walk back to your car the food falls out on the ground. We ordered two paninis and one of them fell directly out of the bag- the other was close but we saved it. The first time it happened they were nice enough and remade the food, the second time she acted like we were doing it on purpose or something which was weird. Most hungry people don't pay for something and then continuously drop it....If you know the bags (specifically the panini bags) aren't closed on the bottom, wouldn't you use common sense and serve items to customers in a different size bag which isn't faulty? We can't be the only customers whose food fell right out of the bag. read more

It's not like there was a wall there, preventing them from seeing us. I made eye contact with ALL of them. It's clean inside... As it should be since it's new. I didn't even know this place was here until I found on yelp. I only knew of the one by Panera which is always really slow. I've been here a couple times. Both times had great fast service. I don't think many people know of this drive through Starbucks near Chuck e cheese otherwise they would come here instead of the one by Panera/Verizon. I always come to this Starbucks because it's convenient and I'm always in the area to go shopping. But after they messed up on my drinks multiple times and I forgot to ask for a straw in the drive thru. So I went inside to get one, the girl with braids in her hair was making a drink so I waited till she was done. I ask her for a straw and she grabbed the straw with an attitude turned around looked me up and down like she didn't even want to give me the straw. Came out to do some Christmas shopping, and thought it would be nice to take a break for some caffine to keep moving. So, my wife and I stopped for a quick pick-me-up at Starbucks; she got a venti frappuccino and i got a triple cappuccino. Once, we got our drinks, I wanted to spruce up my drink with some sugar, but to my mistake...there wasn't any pourable containers, like the other locations. This location is the best location around! Well, that is if you prefer to wait extra long for your food or drinks. I've used this newer location multiple times and they have never let me down! Once I learned they take a long time to make any espresso drink or heat up any food I quickly learned this is my go to for coffee when I've got extra time to kill. I visited a Starbucks in Gilroy, CA towards the end of a short road trip from L.A. I ordered a grande java chip light Frappuccino w/ almond milk, + whipped cream and mocha drizzle. I was the only one waiting for a drink but the service was extremely slow as the baristas seemed more focused on Drive thru. When I received my beverage it didn't have whipped cream and looked extremely watered down. I asked for whipped cream on and the barista gave me a bit of a dirty look before adding any. When I tasted it, it was like I was drinking chocolate milk. Not much coffee flavor. There wasn't any chocolate chips in it and not enough ice either. I've ordered this drink many times so I'm familiar with what it's supposed to taste like. I was really disappointed in my beverage and the service. read more
